Warning Never do the described instruction. Failure to observe the instruction may result in death or serious injury.
Caution Failure to observe the instruction may result in injury or property damage.
Warning
When handling the device
● Operate the device at the specified power supply voltage. Otherwise, it may cause fire, electric shock and failure.
● Do not remove the cover or disassemble the device. Doing so may cause electric shock with the equipped high-voltage circuit, or may cause a
malfunction.
Processes in abnormal case
Turn off the power in cases mentioned below. Operation under abnormal condition may cause a malfunction.
● When liquid or foreign substances enter the device
● When the device is dropped or its case is damaged
● When abnormal noise or foul smell is present
Caution
When handling the device
● Handle with care due to the precision product.
● Sensor and Processing Unit are used in pair. Do not change the combination.
● After installation and power on, keep idling for 15minutes before measurement.
● Connect all the cables prior to plugging into power outlets, following instructions of this manual.
● Turn on/off the power, following instructions of this manual.
● Keep an interval of 10 seconds whenever switching the power.
● Be sure to turn off the power when connecting and disconnecting cables to prevent trouble and damages.
● Do not connect or disconnect the AC plug with wet hands. It may cause electric shock.
● Be sure to disconnect the AC plug from an outlet if the device is not to be used for an extended duration.
● Operate the device within the operating temperature and humidity.
● Earth terminal or FG terminal must be grounded(D settings).
● Do not give vibration to the device as long as possible(Vibration affects each measurement result).
● In order to prevent the effect of vibration, choose a strong installation place(Around the pillars and walls),or equipment with sufficient strength. We
recommend that you install it on the shockproof platform.
On placement
Do NOT place the device in the location below mentioned to prevent trouble and damages.
● In a place subject to high moisture or excessive dust
● In a location exposed to excessive heat such as sunlight
● In a place with corrosive gas or combustible gas
● In a place subject to vibration or shock
● In a place subject to water, oil or chemicals
● In a place subject to static
Safe use of LASER product
● This equipment is classified as a CLASS 2 LASER product. Users should be familiar with safety procedures when operating laser product.
● Do not look into the laser beam, either directly or through an optical instrument.
● Do not touch the Laser-Beam Window with your finger, or bump it. Doing so may degrade the optical performance.
● Keep mirrors and metal objects away from the beam path to prevent the reflected beam from entering the eyes.
● Do not remove the cover or disassemble the equipment. Doing so may degrade optical performance and may also cause injury. The radiation intensity
of the built-in light source corresponds to CLASS3R.
● Turn off the power to the equipment immediately when foul smell and smoke are detected or when the laser does not turn on. Remove the cause
before operating the equipment again.
