risk of electric shock to persons. Terminals labelled as
“Speaker O tp ts” m st be connected to a speaker cabinet of the designated
load rating sing an n-shielded two cond ctor cable for speaker se at all times
d ring operation
The exclamation point within an eq ilateral triangle and "WARNING" are
intended to alert the ser to the presence of important operating instr ctions.
Fail re to heed the instr ctions will res lt in severe inj ry or death.

• Clean only with dry cloth.
• Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the man fact rer’s instr ctions.
• Do not install near any heat so rces s ch as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparat s
(incl ding amplifiers) that prod ce heat.
• Do not defeat the safety p rpose of the polarized or gro nding-type pl g. A polarized pl g has
two blades, one wider than the other. A gro nding type pl g has two blades and a third gro nding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for yo r safety. If the provided pl g does not fit
into yo r o tlet, cons lt an electrician for replacement of the obsolete o tlet.
• Servicing: Do not attempt to service this prod ct yo rself as opening or removing covers may
expose yo to dangero s voltage or other hazards.
• Refer all servicing to q alified service personnel.
• Damage Req iring Service: Unpl g this prod ct from the wall o tlet and refer servicing to
q alified service personnel nder the following conditions: (a) When the power-s pply cord or pl g
is damaged; (b) If liq id has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the prod ct; (c) If the prod ct
has been exposed to rain or water; (d) If the prod ct does not operate normally by following the
operating instr ctions. Adj st only those controls that are covered by the operating instr ctions.
Improper adj stment of other controls may res lt in damage and will often req ire extensive work
by a q alified technician to restore the prod ct to its normal operation; (e) if the prod ct has been
dropped or damaged in any way; (f) when the prod ct exhibits a distinct change in performance -
this indicates a need for service.
• Replacement Parts: When replacement parts are req ired, be s re the service technician has
sed replacement parts specified by the man fact rer or have the same characteristics as the
original part. Una thorized s bstit tions may res lt in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.

USING YOUR AMPLIFIER
Mains F se:
T3.15 Amp for 100v. (Japan Only)
T3.15 Amp for 120v.
T1.6 Amp for 230v.
IMPORTANT!
For countries or regions with a mains voltage of 115v or 12 v, please switch the small, red
mains selector to 115v or 12 v and replace the fuse in the black pull out fuse tray, below the
mains inlet, with the 12 v version supplied.
For countries or regions with a mains voltage of 23 v, please switch the small, red mains
selector to 23 v and replace the fuse in the black pull out fuse tray, below the mains inlet,
with the 23 v version supplied.

FRONT PANEL FEATURES
1. Input Jack Socket
Pl g yo r instr ment into this jack socket.
2. Volume Control (Clean Channel)
This controls the vol me of the clean channel.
3. Bass Control (Clean Channel)
This controls the bass response of the clean channel.
4. Treble Control (Clean Channel)
This controls the treble response of the clean channel.
5. Gain Control (Dirty Channel)
This controls the vol me to the dirty channel.
6. Bass Control (Dirty Channel)
This controls the bass response of the dirty channel.
7. Middle Control (Dirty Channel)
This controls the midrange response of the dirty channel.

8. Treble Control (Dirty Channel)
This controls the treble response of the dirty channel.
9. Volume Control (Dirty Channel)
This controls the o tp t vol me of the dirty channel.
1 . Reverb Selector Switch (Top: Spring - Middle: Hall - Bottom: Plate)
This control switches which reverb effect is sed.
11. Master Reverb Control
This controls the level of the reverb.
12. Master Volume Control
This controls the overall o tp t vol me.
13. Chanel Switch
This toggle switch switches between the clean and dirty channel
14. Power toggle switch.
This t rns on the mains power to the amplifier.

REAR PANEL FEATURES
15. Speaker Jack Sockets (16 Ohm, 16 Ohm)
Please refer to “Using Yo r Amplifier”
16. Channel Footswitch jack socket
Use any latching footswitch to change channel sing this socket.
17. Reverb footswitch jack socket
Use any latching footswitch to switch the reverb on and off.
18. Valve Effects Loop (Send and Return)
Use the “Send” jack socket to go to the inp t of time based effects pedals or rack eq ipment
s ch as delay, chor s, etc. Use the “Ret rn” jack socket to ret rn from the o tp t of the effects
being sed.
(Note – Effects such as overdrive, fuzz, wah wah, tuner, etc, are probably best placed between
the instrument and the input of the amplifier)
