For OrCam MyEye

When connecting to a power source, the
OrCam MyCharger LED indicator will blink
four times indicating its current level of
charge.
When the OrCam MyCharger is fully
charged, the LED indicator will constantly
illuminate with all four LEDs.
Your OrCam MyCharger connects to a
wall charger using the Wall to MyCharger
Cable (USB to Type-C). The smaller
connecter (Type-C) goes into the
connector port under the flap on the
narrow end of the OrCam MyCharger
beside the LED indicators. Use the
OrCam wall adapter you received with
your OrCam MyEye device.

Charging your
OrCam MyCharger
LED

OrCam MyCharger is a wearable
high-speed charger for OrCam MyEye.
OrCam MyCharger has a built-in belt clip
for easy wearability.
The only button on OrCam MyCharger
is a status button. Pressing the Status
Button displays the current charge status
of OrCam MyCharger. When pressed the
LEDs blink four times (either 1, 2, 3 or 4
LEDs will illuminate).

The connector port (under the flap on
the narrow end of the OrCam MyCharger
beside the LED indicators) is used to
charge OrCam MyCharger from a wall
adapter and also to power the OrCam
MyEye from OrCam MyCharger
for continuous use (in suspend or
powered-on state).
Introduction to OrCam MyCharger

Inserting OrCam MyEye into the
OrCam MyCharger
To remove the OrCam MyEye from
the OrCam MyCharger, grasp the
OrCam MyEye from both sides of
the OrCam MyEye logo and pull.
Place the end of the OrCam MyEye
with the charging connector into the
corresponding magnetic connector,
which is located above the status
button.

Press the OrCam MyEye firmly into
place, ensuring that the end of
OrCam MyEye where the camera is
located is flush with the top of the
OrCam MyCharger.

When OrCam MyEye is inserted
correctly, the OrCam MyCharger LED
indicator will blink four times
indicating its current level of charge.

Note: To use OrCam MyCharger you must
have the magnetic charging connector
inserted into the charging port of the
OrCam MyEye.
This User Guide says “OrCam MyEye” a
lot, but if you have an OrCam MyReader
you need not worry – everything works in
exactly the same way. OrCam MyCharger
is compatible with OrCam MyEye 2 and
OrCam MyReader 2.

Initial charge - The first time you charge
OrCam MyCharger, charge for 3 full hours
continuously to ensure the OrCam
MyCharger is fully charged. Standard
charging time after the first use is
approximately 2 hours to fully charge the
OrCam MyCharger.

What’s in the box?
Note: You now have three different charging
cables – one that came with OrCam MyEye
and two that came with OrCam MyCharger.
Take care not to confuse them, as each cable
has a specific purpose. OrCam recommends
always charging your OrCam MyEye using
your OrCam MyCharger.

Get Comfortable
Charging OrCam MyEye
Simply insert the OrCam MyEye into
the OrCam MyCharger. Charging will
begin automatically.
Note: For daily charging while OrCam
MyEye is not in use (overnight), OrCam
recommends placing OrCam MyEye in
the OrCam MyCharger and plugging
OrCam MyChargere into a wall adapter.

Connect the OrCam MyEye to the OrCam
MyCharger using the OrCam MyCharger to
OrCam MyEye Cable (Type-C to magnet).
OrCam MyCharger will continuously
provide power on-the-go, even while your
OrCam MyEye is in use. Using this method
you can enjoy continuous use for many
hours (approximately 10 hours of use
without suspend).
