This Operating Manual describes product handling procedures and safety
precautions.
•Please read it thoroughly to ensure safe operation.
•Always keep the manual where it is readily available.
•Do not use the product in explosive or corrosive environments, in the presence
of flammable gases, locations subjected to splashing water, or near
combustibles. Doing so may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
•Qualified personnel are required for the installation, connection, operation and
inspection of this product. Failure to do so may result in fire, electric shock or
injury.
•Do not transport, install the product, perform connections or inspections when
the power is on. Always turn the power off before carrying out these
operations. Failure to do so may result in electric shock.
•Connect this product securely and accurately, according to the connection
diagrams. Failure to do so may result in fire or electric shock.
•Do not disassemble or modify the product, as electric shock or other bodily
injury may result. Should the need arise to inspect internal parts or repair the
product, contact the branch or sales office from which you purchased the
product.
•Do not use the product beyond the specified values. Doing so may result in
electric shock, injury or damage to the equipment.
•Use this product with a fan or heater sold by ORIENTAL MOTOR. The use of
a fan or heater sold by another manufacturer may result in fire or electric shock.
The precautions described below are intended to ensure the safe and correct
use of the product, and to prevent the customer and others from exposure to the
risk of injury. Please read this manual carefully prior to using this product.

Install the product on the IEC (DIN) rail.

•Do not install the product in such a way that
the ventilation at the slit is blocked.
•Install a filter at the air inlet of the equipment.
•If connecting two or more fans or heaters, use a terminal block for relay.
Do not connect lead wires from multiple units directly to the thermostat.
•The terminals are the solderless type. Connect the wire or use a spade
terminal. When using a spade terminal for connection, use the following
terminal:
<Applicable crimp terminal> AI 1-8 PHOENIX CONTACT GmbH & Co. KG
<Applicable wire size> AWG18 or 1 mm2
<Connection to terminal> Applicable lead wire: AWG18 to 14 (0.75 to 2.0 mm2)
Stripping length: 7 mm (0.28 in.)
Screw-tightening torque: 0.5 N·m (71 oz-in)

This product is designed for use in general industrial machinery, and must not
be used for any other purpose. Oriental Motor CO., LTD. is not responsible for
