温度スイッチ
ヒーター用：AM2-XB1
ファン用：AM2-XA1,AM2-WA1
• 爆発性雰囲気、引火性ガスの雰囲気、腐食性の雰囲気、水のかかる場所、可燃物のそば
では使用しないでください。
•設置、接続、運転・操作、点検の作業は、適切な資格、知識を有する人が行なってください。
•通電状態で移動、設置、接続、点検の作業をしないでください。電源を切ってから作業して
ください。
•接続図にもとづき、確実に接続してください。
•製品を分解・改造しないでください。
内部の点検や修理は、お買い上げになった支店または営業所に連絡してください。
•製品の仕様値を超えて使用しないでください。
•当社のファンまたはヒーターと組み合わせて使用してください。
•接続される機器の取扱いにしたがって安全対策を施してください。
•製品を廃棄するときは、できるだけ分解し、産業廃棄物として処理してください。
ここに示した注意事項は、製品を安全に正しくお使いいただき、お客様や他の人々への
危害や損傷を未然に防止するためのものです。内容をよく理解してから本文をお読みくだ
さい。警告、注意事項に反した取扱いをすると、火災・感電・けが・装置破損の原因になり
ます。
ファンがONになる温度を40 °C（104 °F）に
設定、筐体内の温度が上昇してファンが

設 置
正常に動作しない場合は、この項をご覧になり、1→2の順にご確認ください。
1. 接点の動作
室温で温度設定ダイヤルを回転させて接点の状態を確認します。
ファン用
接点ON「0」°C （「32」°F）→ 接点OFF「60」°C （「140」°F）に回転させます。
正常であれば接点はOFFになります。
ヒーター用
接点OFF「0」°C → 接点ON「60」°C に回転させます。
正常であれば接点はONになります。
ダイヤルを、どの温度設定に変化させても接点ONまたは接点OFF状態が継続される
ときは、お客様ご相談センターにお問合せください。
2. 動作温度
設定温度に対する誤差は±5 °C（±9 °F）です。
設定温度、雰囲気温度をご確認ください。
故障の診断と処置
■設置場所
• 屋内に設置された筐体内
• 使用周囲温度：
- 35～+80 °C（ - 31～+176 °F）、凍結しないこと
• 使用周囲湿度： 95%以下、結露しないこと
• 爆発性雰囲気、有害なガス（硫化ガスなど）、および液体のないところ
• 直射日光が当たらないところ
• 塵埃や鉄粉などの少ないところ
• 水（雨や水滴）、油（油滴）、およびその他の液体がかからないところ
• 連続的な振動や過度の衝撃が加わらないところ
• 電磁ノイズ（溶接機、動力機器など）が少ないところ
• 放射性物質や磁場がなく、真空でないところ
製品は35 mmのDINレールに取り付けてください。

• ファン • ヒーター
•製品を落とさないでください。落下の衝撃で製品が破損する原因になります。
•スリット部の通風を妨げるような取り付けはしないでください。
•製品の内部に異物が混入しないようにしてください。

•2台以上のファンまたはヒーターを接続するときは、端子台で中継してください。
複数台分のリード線を直接温度スイッチに接続しないでください。
•使用周囲温度が70 °C（158 °F）以上の環境で使用するときは、耐熱ケーブルで
配線してください。

ファンまたはヒーターと電源の間に、温度スイッチを接続してください。
温度スイッチの端子台は箱型（ソルダレス）端子です。単線または棒端子を使って接続
してください。

This Operating Manual describes product handling procedures and safety precautions.
•Please read it thoroughly to ensure safe operation.
•Always keep the manual where it is readily available.

• Do not use the product in explosive or corrosive environments, in the presence of
flammable gases, locations subjected to splashing water, or near combustibles.
•Only qualified and educated personnel should be allowed to perform installation,
connection, operation and inspection of the product.
•Do not transport, install, connect or inspect the product while the power is supplied.
Always turn the power off before carrying out these operations.
•Connect the product securely according to the wiring diagram.
•Do not disassemble or modify the product.
Refer all such internal inspections and repairs to the branch or sales office from
which you purchased the product.
•Do not use the product beyond its specifications.
•Use this product in combination with fans or heaters of Oriental Motor.
•Provide safety measures according to the instructions of the connected device.
•To dispose of the product, disassemble it into parts and components as much as
possible and dispose of individual parts/components as industrial waste.
The precautions described below are intended to ensure the safe and correct use of
the product, and to prevent the customer and others from exposure to the risk of injury.
Use the product only after carefully reading and fully understanding these instructions.

The temperature at which the fan turns ON
is set to 40 °C (104 °F), and the temperature
inside the enclosure rises and the fan

Installation
If the product does not operate normally, refer to this section, and check in the order
of 1→2.
1. Operation of contact
Check the condition of the contact by rotating the temperature-setting dial at room
temperature.
• Thermostat for fan: Turn the setting dial from "contact ON (0 °C [32 °F])" to "contact
OFF (60 °C [140 °F])". If the product is normal, the contact will be OFF.
• Thermostat for heater: Turn the setting dial from "contact OFF (0 °C)" to "contact
ON (60 °C)". If the product is normal, the contact will be ON. If the contact "ON"
state or contact "OFF" state is continued when the setting dial is set to any of the
temperature, contact your nearest Oriental Motor sales office.
2. Operating temperature
The temperature difference against the setting temperature of this product is ±5 °C
(±9 °F). Check the setting temperature and ambient temperature.
Troubleshooting and remedial actions
■Location for installation
•Indoors
•Operating ambient temperature: –35 to +80 °C (–31 to +176 °F) (non-freezing)
•Operating ambient humidity: 95% or less (non-condensing)
•Area that is free of explosive atmosphere or toxic gas (such as sulfuric gas) or liquid
•Area not exposed to direct sun
•Area free of excessive amount of dust, iron particles or the like
•Area not subject to splashing water (rain, water droplets), oil (oil droplets) or other
liquids
•Area not subject to continuous vibration or excessive shocks
•Area free of excessive electromagnetic noise (from welders, power machinery, etc.)
•Area free of radioactive materials, magnetic fields or vacuum
Mount the product to a 35 mm (1.38 in.) width DIN rail.
■Method of installation
•Fan •Heater
•Do not drop the product. Dropping impact may cause damage to the product.
•Do not install the product in such a way that the ventilation at the slit is blocked.
•Do not let foreign objects enter the inside of the product.

•If connecting two or more fans (or heaters), use a terminal block for relay.
Do not connect lead wires from multiple units directly to the thermostat.
•When using the product in the environment where the operating ambient
temperature is 70 °C (158 °F) or more, use a heat-resistant cable for connection.
Connection
Connect the thermostat between the fan (or heater) and power supply.
The terminals of the thermostat are the solderless type. Connect using the solid wire
or rod terminal.
