INTRODUCTION
Oxidize It™ is an environmentally friendly device that attaches to any residential
w a s h i n g m a c h i ne . It is designed to produce c l e a n , s of t , fresh-scented
laundry, without the use of hot water, detergent, bleach, or fabric softener.
HOW IT WORKS
The Oxidize It™ uses a small amount of electricity to transform water into
activated o x y g e n & OH radicals, w h i c h are very po werfu l cleaning
agents and disinfectants. The Oxidize It™only uses electricity when the
washing machine calls for water and uses less electricity than a 20-watt light
bulb.
ENERGY-SAVING, HEALTH, AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS
The Oxidize It™uses cold water, which eliminates the need to heat the water.
In addition, there is no detergent used which makes clothes dry faster without
the buildup of detergent residue. Using Oxidize It™ to clean your laundry may
help reduce or eliminate skin irritations and allergic reactions that are normally
caused by residual chemicals left in fabrics from detergent, bleach, and fabric
softeners. Ozonated water can kill infectious bacteria such as E. Coli, Salmonella,
and Strep. * The Oxidize IT™ helps our environment by reducing the discharge
of chemicals in our laundry waste water. It also reduces the disposal of plastic
laundry containers that fill our landfills.

WARNING AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•Before using, PLEASE READ the Owner’s Manual carefully.
•Disconnect y o u r power before servicing.
•Make sure you mount your Oxidize It™horizontally. See installation
instructions. DO NOT mount your Oxidize It™vertically or at any
angle. The Oxidize It™will only work properly in a horizontally
mounted position.
•Do not operate the unit with the cover removed. If cover is removed
and seal is broken by a non-authorized inspector, the units warranty
may be voided.
•It is not recommended to use an extension cord or power adaptor
other than the one provided with your Oxidize It™unit.
•Water treated by Oxidize It™is intended for laundry use ONLY. It is
not approved for drinking or ingesting.
•Oxidize It™is only intended for use with COLD WATER.
However, the hot water hose should b e connected to the washer h ot
w a t e r i n l e t and to the hot water outlet on the Oxidize It™.
•The Oxidize It™can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not clean
your Oxidize It™with harsh chemicals, abrasives, or cleaners.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Electrical Requirements:
•Oxidize It™requires 120-volt, 60 Hz power.
•An approved GFCI outlet is recommended for supplying power to
your Oxidize It™.
•Never use an extension cord, or a power adapter, other than
the one provided.
Location Requirements:
•Never install the Oxidize It™in areas where water may freeze.
Oxidize It™will always retain some water in the unit and freezing
can cause damage to internal components.
Water Requirements:
•Water quality may affect the performance of your Oxidize It™. If you
have water quality concerns such as high iron or mineral content,
consult a water filtration expert.
Prior To Installation:
•Remove your Oxidize It™from its packing and inspect for any
shipping damage.
•Turn off the hot and cold-water supply to your washing machine.
Tools you will need:
•Phillips head screwdriver
•Bucket or container to catch water when disconnecting hoses
Optional tools
•Large pliers to tighten and remove hoses if needed
Note: The manufacturer of the Oxidize It System strongly recommends that, when
you have the System installed, you replace your existing washing machine hoses
either with ozone compatible (EPDM lined) hoses or stainless-steel hoses, which
we can sell to you. Use of your existing washing machine hoses increases the
likelihood of leaks and decreases the effectiveness and environmental benefits of
your new Oxidize It System.

Oxidize It™ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn off the Hot and Cold-wa ter supply running to your washing machine.
2. Place the Oxidize It™ ™Mounting Template (included in the box) in the
desired position on the wall either above or behind your washing machine.
Use a pencil to mark the desired position for mounting screws.
3. Make sure at least one of the mounting screws line up with a wall stud. If a
stud is not available, use the expandable screw anchors (included). Screw the
mounting screws into the holes you marked with pencil on the wall.
4. Gently align your Oxidize It™ directly above the mounting screws on the wall
and slide your Oxidize It™ down onto the mounting screws. Note: Make sure
the Oxidize It ™Logo Is Facing Forward with the (F) D/C Adapter Plug –in on the left
side of the Oxidize It.
5. Disconnect cold-water supply hose on the washing machine and connect it to the
(A) Cold Water Inlet on the Oxidize It™.
6. Take the new hose furnished with Oxidize It™, connect one end to the cold-
water in to the washing Machine and connect the other end to the (B) cold water
Outlet on the Oxidize It™.
7. Disconnect the hot water supply from faucet and connect to (C) hot water outlet
on Oxidize It™.
8. Install brass cap furnished with Oxidize It™ on to hot water supply faucet.
NOTE: that two washers maybe required to properly seal the faucet and prevent
leaks.
9. Slowly turn on the cold water and inspect for leaks.
10. Plug in the provided A/C adapter to a power outlet and connect the supply plug
into the (F) D/C Adapter Plug-In. Note: A Red Light will illuminate and stay
illuminated meaning power is being supplied to the Oxidize It™.
11. Start the washing machine and while the tub is filling the (E) Operating Light
behind the word IT should be illuminated. If the Light does not come on while
tub is filling, SLOWLY turn the (D) Blue Lever clockwise toward the wall until
the (E) Operating Light behind the word IT is illuminated. Your Oxidize It™ is
now adjusted for your washing machine.
12. At the end of the fill cycle, the blue light will remain illuminated for about 3
minutes.
INSTALLATION TROUBLE SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS
Given variances in washing machine models and residential and municipal water
pressures, further adjustments may be needed. Adjusting will also be needed if you are
installing on a non-high efficiency, top loading washing machine.

USING YOUR OXIDIZE IT™
HOW TO TELL IF YOUR OXIDIZE IT™ IS WORKING
You can easily tell when the Oxidize It™is on and working properly.
•Wh en the Red light on the side is lit, the power to the Oxidize ItTM is
on.
•When the BLUE light, behind the “It,” on the front is lit, the Oxidize
ItTM is working.
STAINS
We suggest that you pre-treat stains. If laundry is soiled beyond normal wear,
it is acceptable to use a small amount of detergent. Detergent is not necessary
for normal laundry.
DAILY USAGE
Operate your washing machine according to the instructions provided by its
manufacturer. The only difference is that you use ONLY COLD WATER .
Using hot water defeats the effectiveness of the enhanced oxidizers that the
Oxidize It™has infused into the water.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
•ARE THERE SEPARATE MODELS OF OXIDIZE IT™FOR TOP
LOADING VS FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINES or
LOW FLOW VS HIGH FLOW?
No. The Oxidize It Model you purchased works on almost any
washing machine, front or top loading. There is no operating
difference between low flow or high flow units. The Oxidize It™has
the blue lever to regulate water flow, so water pressure is not an issue.
•DO TOUGH STAINS NEED TO BE PRETREATED?
We do recommend that you pre-treat stains.
•DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO THE OXIDIZE
IT™IF I GO ON VACATION?
If you go on vacation or won’t be using your washer for an extended
period of time, we recommend unplugging the power supply to the
Oxidize It™and that you turn off your water supply.
•DOES THE OXIDIZE IT WORK WITH ALL WATER
QUALITIES?
The Oxidize It™works with all typical household water qualities.
However, the better quality of the water, the better results you will
have. If your water has high iron content, it is recommended that you
use a pre-filter specifically designed for removing iron.
•CAN I STILL USE BLEACH?
Yes. It is recommended that you use bleach, at least once a month,
to maintain your crisp whites.
•SHOULD I CHANGE THE HOSES ON MY WASHING
MACHINE WHEN INSTALLING THE OXIDIZE IT?
Yes. The manufacturer of the Oxidize It System strongly recommends
that, when you have the System installed, you replace your existing
washing machine hoses either with ozone compatible (EPDM lined)
hoses or stainless-steel hoses, which we can sell to you. Use of your
existing washing machine hoses increases the likelihood of leaks and
decreases the effectiveness and environmental benefits of your new
Oxidize It System. The hoses should be changed approximately every 5
years.

Five (5) Year Limited Residential Warranty
Warranty must be registered within 30 days of purchase
Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Oxidizer Pro Inc. (“Oxidizer
Pro”) warrants your Oxidize It Model OX4000-A Detergent-Less Laundry Cleaning System to
be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions for five
(5) years, commencing on the date of purchase.
This warranty includes the entire cost of parts needed to make any warranty repair,
for the entire five-year period. The warranty also covers the cost of labor for warranty
repairs, but only during the first 90 days after the date of purchase. During the first 90 days
after the date of purchase, this warranty also covers the preapproved by Oxidizer Pro
shipping costs, each way, associated with any warranty repair. (Note: To obtain pre-
approval for the shipping expense, you must call Oxidizer Pro at 1-440-746-0343 for
shipping details). After such 90-day period, shipping costs are the responsibility of the
purchaser. As a matter of warranty policy, Oxidizer Pro will not refund the customer’s
purchase price.
This warranty is provided only to the first owner of the Oxidize It Model OX4000-A
Detergent-Less Laundry Cleaning System; it does not apply to subsequent owners. In
addition, this warranty applies only if the unit has solely been used for household purposes
by the owner in his or her own dwelling. Any other use of the Oxidize It Model OX4000-A
Detergent-Less Laundry Cleaning System immediately terminates the warranty. In addition,
this warranty does not apply to and does not cover damage to the unit resulting from any
misuse, abuse, non-compliant installation, or use not in accordance with the unit’s Owner’s
manual. This warranty also does not apply to any damage resulting from repair or service
work performed by any person or entity other than an authorized Oxidizer Pro service center,
or to any damage resulting from the use of non-genuine parts, or to any damage resulting
from fire or an act of God.
This warranty only applies if the Oxidize It Model OX4000-A Detergent-Less Laundry
Cleaning System was purchased from an authorized Oxidizer It distributor. Oxidizer Pro
does not provide any warranty on an Oxidize It Model OX4000-A Detergent-Less Laundry
Cleaning System purchased from any seller other than an authorized Oxidize It distributor.
To obtain warranty service on your unit or any part thereof, bring or ship the
defective unit or part (accompanied by written proof of purchase which identifies the
date of purchase and the original purchaser), to the authorized Oxidize It distributor from
which it was purchased, or to any other person or entity authorized by Oxidizer Pro to
provide warranty service on Oxidize It products. Information as to persons authorized to
provide warranty service on Oxidize It products can be obtained by calling the Oxidizer Pro
Consumer Relations Department at 1-440-746-0343. Call that phone number if you cannot
locate the authorized Oxidizer It distributor from which you bought your unit or if such
distributor is no longer in business. If your unit or part is found on inspection to be defective
in material or workmanship it will be repaired or replaced at the option of Oxidizer Pro, and
any return shipping costs will be paid by Oxidizer Pro.
All implied warranties on your Oxidize It Model OX4000-A Detergent-Less Laundry
Cleaning System are limited in duration to the period of this express warranty. Some States
do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may
not apply to you. Oxidizer Pro is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental
damages arising out of your use or inability to use your Oxidizer It Detergent-Less Laundry
System. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
