• WARNING
Read the instruction in this manual carefully and thoroughly, as they give important informa-
tion regarding safety during use and maintenance. Keep this manual with the unit, in order to
consult it in the future. If the unit is sold or given to another operator, make certain that it always
has its manual, to enable the new owner to read about its operation and relative instructions.
Protect the unit from excessive dryness or humidity (ideal conditions are between 35% and
80%).
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this product under a high temperature or humi-
dity area.
DO NOT make any inflammable liquids, water or metal objects enter the unit.
Should any liquid be spilled on the unit, DISCONNECT the power supply to the unit immediately.
This product must be earthed.
Take care not to damage the power cord.
After having removed the packaging check that the unit is NOT damaged in any way. If in doubt,
DON’T use it and contact an authorized dealer.
NEVER use the unit under the following conditions:
- In places subject to excessive humidity.
- In places subject to vibrations or bumps.
- In places with a temperature of over 45 C/113 F or less than 2 C/35.6 F.
DO NOT open the unit--there are no user serviceable parts inside.
NEVER try to repair the unit yourself. Repairs by unqualified people could cause damage or
faulty operation. Contact your nearest dealer.
Wait for at least one second to turn on the power after turning off this unit.
This unit is intended for indoor use only.
Packaging material (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) MUST NOT be left within child-
ren’s reach, as it can be dangerous.
STOP using the unit immediately In the event of serious operation problems and either contact
your local dealer for a check or contact us directly.
DO NOT dismantle or modify the unit.
If in doubt, DON’T use it and contact an authorized dealer.
This unit must only be operated by adults. DO NOT allow children to tamper or play with it.

4. Product Descriptions
The B-Box 6 RDM is a 6 channel DMX/RDM booster with one DMX/RDM input and 6 DMX/RDM
outputs. This unit takes the incoming DMX/RDM signal and splits the signal into six separate
output channels. Each output channel and the input channel are completely electronically iso-
lated from each other, all six output channels have independent output drivers to boost the
DMX/RDM signal. In addition, a Link out/Terminate selector is used for secure linking when
you intend to terminate DMX/RDM signal and a RDM selector alow to enable or disable RDM
feature.

1Power Switch - This switch turns on and off the main power.
2DMX Output Driver - The six DMX/RDM output channels are completely electronically
isolated and each features an independent driver that boost the DMX signal.
3DMX Output - These XLR connectors are used for linking a second unit.
4DMX Input - These XLR connectors are used to receive an incoming DMX signal.
5Link Out / Terminate selector - This switch is primarily meant for troubleshooting.
When the switch is in the «Terminate» position, DMX/RDM output(3) is turned off and
you can not link any more units.
When the switch in the «Link Out» position, this unit allows you link a second unit.
6RDM - enable/disable RDM feature

Avant utilisation, merci de lire attentivement ces précautions d’emplois.
Ces informations sont indispensable pour votre sécurité et une meilleure utilisation et
entretien de votre appareil :
• Gardez l’unité au sec, ne jamais exposer à l’eau ou à l’humidité.
• Ne jamais faire pénétrer du liquide ou des pièces métalliques dans l’appareil.
• Si du liquide est renversé sur l’unité, mettre immédiatement l’appareil hors tension.
• Ce produit doit être relié à la terre.
• Prenez soin de ne pas endommager le câble d’alimentation.
• Si votre câble d’alimentation est endommagé n’utilisez pas votre appareil et faites le réparer
par un technicien qualifié.
• Dans l’éventualité d’un dysfonctionnement (odeur de chauffe), éteignez immédiatement
l’appareil, déconnectez le câble d’alimentation et consultez un personnel qualifié
• Placez l’unité hors de portée de champs magnétiques pendant son utilisation.
• Ne pas mettre sous tension si la température ambiante excède 45°C.
• Prenez soin lors des manipulations, car de trop grands chocs ou vibrations pourraient altérer
son fonctionnement.
• Utilisation par un adulte uniquement. Ne jamais laisser à la portée d’enfant.
• Ne remplacez pas de pièces de l’appareil sans consulter un personnel qualifié.
• Ne jamais modifier sans autorisation.
• Pour les appareils avec piles ou batteries, si l’unité n’est pas utilisé pendant une longue
période, merci de retirer la pile ou la batterie
• Pendant le déballage, assurez-vous que votre produit n’est pas endommagé pendant le
transport.
• Si vous constatez des dommages, ne pas l’utiliser et contactez immédiatement votre instal-
lateur.
• Nous ne pouvons pas être tenu pour responsable en cas de mauvaise utilisation de l’appareil.
• Ne jamais laisser une personne non-qualifiée modifier ou utiliser l’unité

3. Descriptions du Produit
Le B-Box 6 RDM est un booster 6 voies DMX/RDM avec une entrée DMX/RDM et 6 sorties DMX/
RDM. Cet appareil reçoit le signal DMX/RDM entrant et le divise dans les six sorties séparé-
ment. Chaque entrée et chaque sortie sont totalement isolées électroniquement entre elles, les
six sorties ont des amplificateurs de RDM/DMX indépendant. En supplément, un interrupteur
de continuité out/terminate est utilisé pour sécuriser la terminaison de ligne DMX et un inter-
rupteur permet de valider ou non le RDM.

1Interrupteur secteur – Cet interrupteur allume et éteint l’appareil.
2Sorties DMX – Les six sorties DMX/RDM sont complètement isolées électroniquement
et amplifient le signal DMX.
3Sorties DMX – Ces connecteurs XLR sont utilisés pour relier un second appareil.
4Entrées DMX – Ces connecteurs XLR sont utilisés pour recevoir le signal DMX.
5Interrupteur out/terminate – Cet interrupteur permet de terminer la ligne DMX. Quand
il est sur la position "terminate", la sortie DMX/RDM 3 est désactivée et vous ne pouvez
pas connecter un autre appareil à la suite. Inversement, quand il est sur la position
« Link Out ».
6RDM – Valide/Dé-valide la fonction RDM.
7Fusible – F0.5 A 250 V 5 x 20 mm.
8Secteur d’entrée – AC 230 V~50 Hz, 0.5 A Max.
ATTENTION !!!
1. Cet appareil doit être relié à la terre.
2. Pour éviter tout risque d’incendie, n’exposez pas ce produit dans un environnement hu-
mide ou à forte température.
3. Ce produit est conçu pour un usage intérieur exclusivement.
4. Remplacer le fusible par un modèle identique
Un câble DMX avec une impédance de 120 ohms DOIT être utilisé pour la connexion du signal.
