harnessexactlyasshowninthismanual.Acompatibilitytestmustbecarriedoutbyaqualiedprofessional
toexcludeanypossiblenon-compatibilitybetweentheharnessandrescuedevice.
•Theparachutebridlesmustbeconnecteddirectlytothemaincarabinersoftheharness.Alternativelythe
bridlescanbeattachedtotheshoulderattachmentpointsifyourharnesshasthemandifyourbridlesare
longenough.
•Toensurethecorrectfunctioningofthesystem,youmustperformapracticethrowseatedinyourharness.
•Ensureyourparachuteismaintainedproperlyandregularlyre-packed,failuretodosomayresultinpremature
ageingandsloweropeningtimes.Theentiresystemshouldbethoroughlycheckedevery6months.
•Complete a thorough daily and preight inspection of all of your equipment. Pay particular attention to
theparachutepinsandensuretheyareseatedproperly.Neverattempttoywithunsuitableordamaged
equipment.
•Do not allow the container / parachute to become damp; this can affect the opening times and overall
performanceanddegradethematerialsfaster.
•Donotmodifythisproductinanywayanduseonlywithinthemaximumcertiedweight.
•Alwaysywearingahelmet,glovesandsuitablefootwear.
•Makesurethatyouarephysicallyandmentallyhealthybeforeying.
•Choosethecorrectwing,harnessandparachuteandonlyyinconditionssuitableforyourlevelofexperience.
•Payspecialattentiontotheterrainyouwillbeyingandtheweatherconditionsbeforeyoulaunch.Always
addalargesafetymargintoallyourdecisions,ifyouareunsuredonoty.Avoidyinginrain,snow,strong
wind,andturbulentweatherconditionsorclouds.

TheLiteandUltralitefrontparachutecontainersaredesignedforharnesseswithoutanintegratedreservedeploymentsystemsuchas
theF*LiteandOZObutcanalsobeusedforthosewantingtoaddasecondreservetoanyharnessthatdoesnotalreadyfeaturean
integratedfrontmountedreservecompartment.
Thoughtfully designed, the containers are easy to handle and also act as a cockpit thanks to the Velcro top plate. Available in 3
differentversions-Ultralite/Lite/PPGLite.TheLitemodelisavailablein2sizesandisalsoavailableinadedicatedPPGversionfor
paramotoring.TheUltralitecontainerisdedicatedforhikeandyorforthosewhoneedthemostcompact,lightestpossiblecontainer.

WARNING: The connection between the
reserve handle and the deployment bag must
not be too short. The connection must be long
enough to allow the pins to release before the
handle comes under tension. Ensure this is the
case with a practice deployment.

RESCUE HANDLE ATTACHMENT
Thereserveparachutehandlemustbeattachedtothecentralloopofthedeploymentbag.Ifyourdeploymentbagdoesnothave
acentralloopthenyoushouldchangeitforonethatdoes.Attachingthehandletothesideloopmaymakethesystemineffective,
andpreventtheparachutefromdeploying.
Toinstallareserveparachuteyoushouldrstpacktheparachutesothatitmatchestheshapeanddimensionsofthedeployment
bag/container.
Attachthehandletothecentralloopusingalarksfoot.
1. Passthehandlethroughthecentralloop.
2. Loopthehandlebackthroughitselftomakealarksfoot
connection.
BRIDLE CONNECTION
Ifyouhaveaparachutewithashortbridle,thenyouneedtoattachittoanOzoneYbridle(not
supplied)usingasuitableconnector(notsupplied).LongY-bridledparachutescanbeattached
directlytothecarabiners,ordirectlytotheshoulderparachuteattachmentsifyourharnessfeatures
them.IfyouareorderinganAngelparachutethatisintendedtobeusedwiththefrontcontainer
thenwerecommendyougoforthelongbridleoption.

RESERVE PARACHUTE INSTALLATION - Lite / PPG Lite
Ifconnectingdirectlytothemaincarabiners,rstofallplacetheendsoftheYbridleasshownandattachtheYbridleloopstothe
containerbagloops-rightisblue,leftisred-withalarksfootasshown.ItisnotnecessarytodothisprocedurewiththePPGLite
version,orifyouareattachingthebridlesdirectlytotheshoulderattachments.Inthesecases,thecontainercanbesecuredtothe
harnessinanysuitablepositionwiththeclips.
Neatlyfoldthebridlesandplacethedeploymentbagontopwiththehandle
facinguppermosttowardsyou,orientatedsothedoublearrowsmatchthe
positionoftheslotsonthedeploymentbag.

Usingapieceofmagicstringorathinpieceofplasticroutedthroughthedeploymentpinloops1pulltheloopsthroughtheholes
inthecontainerapsinthenumberedorder.Loops1shouldberoutedthroughholes2then3andxedinpositionwiththeyellow
deploymentpins.Ensurethebridlesanddeploymenthandlearecorrectlypositionedbeforethenalclosure.Removethestring/plastic.
Usingthestring/plastic,routedeploymentloops4throughhole5andsecurebyroutingtheyellowdeploymentpinthroughloop4.
Removethestring/plasticandneatentheap.Theendsofthedeploymenthandlecannowbeinsertedintotheslotsorientatedsothe
doublearrowsofthehandleandthedeploymentbagalign.

Ultralite
FollowtheaboveprocedureconnectingtheredandbluecontainerlinestotheYbridlewithalarksfoot.Theendsofthedeployment
pinsshouldbeneatenedwithinthesmallholesoncebothloopshavebeensecured.Thedeploymenthandleisheldbythepinsandis
notsecuredwithinaslot.
CONNECTION TO THE HARNESS
Thefrontcontainercanbeusedwithalmostanyharness.Werecommendthatthebridlesareattacheddirectlytothemaincarabiners
asthisistheneatestsolution,alternativelyyoucanattachthebridlestodedicatedshoulderattachmentpointsifyourharnesshasthem
andyourbridlesareofsufcientlength.Ensurethecarabinergateswillnotinterferewiththebridleloops,youmayneedtoreversethe
carabiners’orientationonthehangpointtoachievethis.
