HOW TO SET-UP THE RANGE EXTENDER FOR OPERATION
The RE-100 Pager Genius Range Extender is a plug and play unit. Install
the two antennas and extend them from the base. This unit can sit at or
mounted on a wall or ceiling. Plug the unit into power within range of the
transmitter or another range extender. Try to nd a power outlet to install
the range extender toward the direction you would like to extend the range.
Have someone send a test page from the transmitter, if you see the range
extender's indicator lights change colors the test was successful.
You can have as many range extenders installed on the property as needed

TESTING THE RANGE
Once you have found the right spot to install your Pager Genius Range
Extender, it is time to see the improvement of range. Walk away from the
newly installed range extender with a pager and have someone page that
pager from the transmitter. Walk further away from the range extender and
test the new range.
Note: For faster testing, bring an undone paperclip to get to the buttons
on the bottom of the pager to cancel a page. When the pager alerts during
testing, press the stop button on the bottom of the pager. Otherwise, you
will have to wait for the pager to time out before doing another test page.

PAUSING BETWEEN PAGES
Now that you have a range extender installed, wait 2.5 seconds in between
pages at the transmitter before you page again. Waiting 2.5 seconds gives
the range extender a chance to process the signal from the transmitter.
Ifmultiple pages are quickly inputted into the transmitter, the range
extender will not have an opportunity to process them.
