Amplier is a wearable electronic hearing amplier
that ts in either ear, intended to amplify and
modulate environmental sounds for the wearer.
You have our commitment to continue provide you with the
support for using this device you just bought. You are
encouraged to share with us your experience of using the
device.
It is important for you to read this user’s instructions booklet
before using your device. Please read and adhere to the
warning statements, and follow the instructions when
operating the device. Be sure to keep this user’s instructions
booklet for future reference.

Introductions
This user’s booklet is for the instructions of operating the
Pallas WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE
Personal Sound Amplier
To get acquainted with the Pallas WB-215 digitally operated
Personal Sound Amplier you may want to wear the device
and try listening to the radio and watching television, and
start conversations with the others. This will help you get
adjusted to the device for identifying sounds and voices
surrounding you. When you rst start wearing the device
you should concentrate particularly on those sounds and
voices you want to hear, practice with the device to pick
them up from one to another. It is important to recognize
your own voice thru the use of your Pallas WB-215 digitally
operated Personal Sound Amplier, that way you will learn
how to keep from speaking too loud while wearing the
device.
Important:
When not using your Pallas WB-215 digitally operated
Personal Sound Amplier turn o the device, this will help
save battery power.

This set of device you just purchased consists of one Pallas
WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE Personal Sound
Amplier unit, two ange ear tips, three regular silicone
rubber ear tips, one USB power cord, one multi-voltage
[100-240 Volt] UL certied 2x at-pins transistor AC power
adapter, and a user’s booklet.

GETTING STARTED:
Turn on and turn o the device:
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the device casing, slide it to its
“ON” position to turn on the device; slide same switch to its
“OFF” position to turn o.
Regulating digitally the amplied sounds of the device
sound amplication unit:
There are two buttons on the back of the device casing for
regulating sound volume - one for digitally turning “UP” the
amplied sounds and the other for digitally turning “DOWN”
the amplied sounds. Through using the nger tip of your
index nger to press between these buttons will digitally
ne tune the amplied sounds to your desired level. See
illustrations below.

Charging the device:
The device is operated by a rechargeable Ni-MH battery
that built-in the device casing to be charged up by the USB
power cord. User may either choose to charge up the device
by connecting the USB transistor AC adapter to alternating
current of the wall outlet, or directly connect the USB power
cord to any equipment installed with USB power outlet.
Since this device is rechargeable, there are no needs of
replacing batteries.
1. To charge the device you will need to rstly connect the
USB power cord to the device USB power socket which is
located underneath the ip-open silicone rubber stopper.
See illustration below.

2. When connecting directly to the wall the USB power cord
is require to into the USB socket of the transistor AC adapter;
follow the illustrations below to connect.
3. When connecting to an USB outlet the USB transistor AC
adapter is NOT required to install; follow the illustrations
below to connect.

Charging the device (cont’d):
The LED battery power indicator light on the device casing
will turn dark from GREEN on fully charged, and will light up
brightly in RED when operating. If the LED battery power
indicator light blinks while charging the device has not been
turned o, needed to shift the ON/OFF switch to its OFF po-
sition and start over charging process again. Once the LED
battery power indicator light faded out indicates the power
is getting low should be time to recharge the device before
the next use. To charge up the device can take up to 3 hours;
each charge should last 8 hours of continuous use.
Indications for use:
The device is intended to amplify environmental sounds for
the non-hearing impaired consumers, including hunting
(listening for prey), bird watching, listening to lectures with a
distant speaker, and listening to soft sounds that would be
dicult for normal hearing individuals to hear (e.g., distant
conversations, performances); not intended to compensate
for hearing impairment, diagnose, treat, cure or mitigate
disease and do not alter the structure and/or function of
the body. For those who suer from hearing problems
should consult the licensed physicians who specialize in ear
diseases for advice.

Wearing the device:
To eectively use the device, an ear tip should be installed
to the reciver end. Adjust the angle of the receiver end
will help t the ear tip snugly to your ear canal, ensures the
receiver end will remain securely in your ear. Repeat same
process with dierent size of ear tips until the desired t is
achieved. See diagram below.
Pallas WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE Personal
Sound Amplier is designed for wearing in either ear. By
adjusting the device casing together with the ex audio
wire and ear hock can let the device rest more comfortably
behind your ear to freely amplify multiple sounds.

Wearing the device (cont’d):
Wearing the Pallas WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable
BTE Personal Sound Amplier in your LEFT ear, hold securely
the device case between the thumb, index and midddle
ngers of your LEFT hand, use the thumb and index nger of
your RIGHT hand adjusting the ear mold to t in your LEFT
ear. Often wiggling the ear mold will help to secure better.
See diagrams below for proper tting.
Follow the same procedures stated above for wearing the
device in your RIGHT ear. You may want to switch to using
your RIGHT hand to hold the device and your LEFT hand to
t & adjust the ear mold in your RIGHT ear.

WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE Personal Sound
Amplier in the left ear.
Regulatory compliance:
This rechargeable BTE ear hearing device is an electronic wearable instrument is
dened by U.S. Food & Drug Administration as the personal sound amplication
products (PSAPs) intended for the non-hearing impaired individuals to amplify
environmental sounds, such as for recreational activities. The device is subject to
applicable provisions of the Radiation Control for Health and Safety Act of 1968,
under which U.S. Food & Drug Administration regulates electronic products that
emit sonic vibrations, such as sound amplication equipment described in 21
CFR 1000.15. All manufacturers of PSAPs must report defects and adverse events
and take other measures described in 21 CFR Part 1003, must also comply with
the requirements to repurchase, repair, or replace electronic products required
under 21 CFR Part 1004.

Maintenance and repair service:
You may want to follow the steps below for maintaining
your device. To prolong life of the Pallas WB-215 digitally
operated rechargeable BTE Personal Sound Amplier, keep
cleaning the device daily is primary important.
1. With a soft bristled brush, brush gently back and forth
across the receiver end to remove all the wax and dirt that
may have collected inside. This prevents wax from building
up.
2. Make sure the receiver end is cleared of debris and dirt.
3. Wipe the case with damp cloth only. Do not use liquid or
aerosol cleaners to clean the device.
4. When not using your Pallas WB-215 digitally operated
rechargeable BTE Personal Sound Amplier, store the device
in a dry cool place.
5. For repair service please feel free to contact your reseller
for further arrangements.

Use & Care:
Your Pallas WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE
Personal Sound Amplier is durable enough for daily use.
Avoid dropping your device to keep it safe from breakage or
short-circuit.
Water can adversely damage the device. Do not attempt to
use it in the rain, in the shower, while swimming or immerse
the unit in water, as the device is not designed to operate in
these conditions.
Avoid using the device in a hot and humid environment, the
device can be sensitive to excessive heat and moisture.
Never attempt to take the device apart or trying to x it by
yourselves. If there are problems with the device, return it to
your reseller for repair or exchange.

Limited warranty:
The Pallas WB-215 digitally operated rechargeable BTE Per-
sonal Sound Amplier you just acquired is warranted against
any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
under normal and intended use for a period of 90 days from
date of purchase. If the device found defective during war-
ranty you will need to send back the defective unit to the re-
seller with a written account for evaluation. The replacement
may either be a free of charge new device or re-conditioned
upon return of the defective unit.
We oer NO WARRANTY in case of wear & tear from daily
use, inadequate care & maintenance, failure to follow
instructions that outlined in this booklet, improper use,
exposure of the device to water/uids or use in an excessive
hot and humid environment, misuse the device’s intended
applications, or the likes.
You should seek for help from the reseller if there might be
any warranty claim or technical request.
