Installation
Precaution
Please read and observe the following safety steps.
•Turn off the engine and remove the vehicle key before beginning installation.
•The cigarette jack power only should be connected to input DC 12/24VDC tip is + polarity.
•Hard wire installation (continuous power cable connection) professional installation recommended, no
liability will be assumed by vendor or manufacturer for any fault or damage arising as a result.
•Plan carefully routing of all cables and position of camera's.
•Ensure air bags are not obstructed or driver vision and safety is not compromised, all wires are tucked
away safely and neatly.
PNGD Assembly
1. Parts required.
2. Insert din plug into back of PNGD as below. Connecting the (“constant power line cable” into the car
emergency light of the car fuse box is optional) PNGD will operate normally without constant power
line cable connection, unless required to record on standby mode.

10 170311R2
3. Insert the SD memory card as shown below.
4. Secure mounting holder to PNGD as shown below. Securing bolt must be inserted from designated end
to avoid skipping when tightening.
5. Ensure cable is not trapped and does not obsecure external camera.
Select the suitable location (not to hinder the driver’s vision) and attach the PNGD securely using the
provided sealing 3M tape.
Insert the power adapter into vehicles cigarette socket, securely route the cable avoiding air bags and
be careful not to obscure drivers vision. For further suggestions see below.
PNGD can be dismounted when not in use, please note mounting sticky pad is not to be detached.

PNGD Windscreen mounting.
Installation to vehicles left or right side is recommended for best possible view. 135 degree viewing
angle ensures there are no dead viewing area.
Clean the chosen are, making sure it is free from grease and any moisture. Peel off protective red
cover from the back of mounting holder and fix holder onto windscreen with gentle force.
Fix PNGD as shown below
Recommended viewing angle is as below.
Viewing angle can be adjusted by loosing the bolt. See below suggestions for routing the power cable.

12 170311R2
Routing Power Cable.
Please arrange the power cable by hiding between Sun-visor and A-filler’s rubber packing as below
picture shows.
Please note Plug 'n' Go Drive does not need to have the red and white wires connected for normal
operation, they are only used for continues backup power only.
Power cable can be hidden between Sun visor and filler rubber packing as shown below, or can be
hidden into roof of some vehicles.
Run the cable along the door coulomb after removing the seal as can be seen above and refer to
picture below.
Replace the seal securely ensuring cable is well hidden.
Run the cable behind the glove compartment or under the carpet ensuring the cable does pose any
tripping, tangling hazard or inadvertently blocking air bag deployment.
Excess cable should be securely hidden.

13 170311R2
Continuous power connection
Parking Mode
