MEG-4/J EG Selectable compression technologies.
MEG-4 is a Wavelet-based file that
delivers professional quality audio and
video streams over a wide range of
bandwidths. Defined by the Moving
ictures Expert Group (M EG) and was
standardized in October 1998. J EG is
the standard for compressing still
images. It produces high quality images
but typically requires more space for
storage. Defined by the Joint
hotographic Experts Group.
SDII Exclusive anasonic technology offers
64 times greater dynamic range
producing exceptional images even
in high contrast lighting, compared
to a conventional camera.
SDIII Offers numerous camera performance
attributes including: 128x dynamic
range; pixel-based digital contrast
correction; auto image stabilizer; scene
change detection; 30X optical zoom
(300X electronically); adaptive digital noise
reduction; 540 lines of color resolution;
and extreme low light sensitivity in color
(0.5 lux) and B/W (0.06 lux). Check
