1.6 Ground glass options
The Millennium can be outfitted with the
g ound glass in two diffe ent locations
depending on p oduction demands. Unde
most conditions, the came a is shipped with the
g ound glass located in the t aditional fi st
image plane location. Howeve , fo situations
equi ing ve y high- esolution video assist
images, the t aditional g ound glass can be
eplaced by a clea fo mat sc een and a focus
sc een placed in a second image plane.
Fo eseeable applications include intensive on-
set compositing o non-linea editing.
Millennium g ound glasses a e indicated with
an “M” next to the desc iption. When shooting
in Supe 35 the Millennium utilizes existing
Panaflex Supe 35 g ound glasses.
CAUTION: Do not use standard PFX Academy
ground glass. Millennium viewing mattes must
be used.
