How to Install Healthcare TV w/ HC20
Things you will need: Items supplied with your HC20 healthcare TV
HC20 TV Remote HC20 Power adapter

You will also provide applicable pillow speakers at the bedside and jumper cables at the TV side. You
will also need access to AC power outlets (2) and a connection to TV signal source - RF cable connect.

STEP 1: Set UP LCD TV
1) Connect TV Power cord to TV and AC outlet
2) Connect TV to Cable TV or Antenna (RF cable)
3) Verify basic TV operation using TV IR remote (on/off, volume,channels, etc.)
Step 2: Auto Tune TV channels
1) While TV is onhit menuonIR remote
2) Select channel…auto channel …enter
3) Select channel type…cable/air
4) Select automatic search…enter
TV will scan for channels

Step 3: IR connection on back of TV
1) Power off TV using IR Remote
2) Locate HC20 unit and connect RJ45 connector from IR & audio cable
3) Locate 2.5mm IR connection and insert 2.5mm right angle plug from IR cable
4) Locate audio Out connections on TV says – OUT – red – white connector (don’t confuse w/ audio in)
Step 4: Enable pillow speaker control - Use provided Velcro tabs to adhere HC20 to convenient
location.
1) Connect HC20 power adapter to HC20 and AC Outlet (HC20 shows green LED light)
2) Insert Pillow speaker¼” phono plug (from jumper cable atTV wall) into HC20
The TV can now be controlled by both the pillow speaker and the TV remote. Call 541-686-2296
with any questions.
Note: If control is not established, check LED lights on HC20 –should be green. If green and amber both on - disconnect DC power
cord and call number above. When operating correctly look for 2 amber LED light flashes with each pillow speaker command (e.g.
channel change)
