This manual contains an overall description of the product, together with all the necessary information for using the
product correctly and safely. It is highly recommended that this manual is read prior to any operation or maintenance of
this product. The safety precautions and warnings are to ensure your safety and protect you from harm or damage to
the product.

maintenance of the product. The information contained in this manual was accurate at the time of production, however

for personal and private use only.

WARNING!
Inspect area before starting unit. Remove all debris and hard objects
such as rocks, glass, wire, etc. that can ricochet, be thrown, or
otherwise cause injury or damage during operation.
WARNING!
While vacuuming or blowing debris, hold the unit with the exhaust side
facing away from your body and clothes. Use your unit as a blower for:
• Sweeping debris or grass clippings from driveways, pathways,
patios, etc.
• Blowing grass clippings, straw, or leaves into piles, around joints, or
between bricks.
Use your unit as a vacuum for:
• Picking up dry material such as leaves, grass, small twigs, and bits of
paper.
• For best results during vacuum use, operate your unit at high speed.
• Move slowly back and forth over the material as you vacuum. Avoid
forcing the unit into a pile of debris as this can clog the unit.
• Keep the vacuum tube about an inch above the ground for best
results.

WARNING!
This machine produces an electromagnetic field during operation.
Under some circumstances, this field may interfere with active or
passive medical implants. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we
recommend persons with medical implants to consult their
physician and the medical implant manufacturer before operating this
machine.
• Always wear eye and ear protection when operating, servicing, or
performing maintenance on unit. Wearing eye protection will help
to prevent rocks or debris from being blown or ricocheting into eyes
and face which can result in blindness and/or serious injury.

• Always wear foot protection. Do not go barefoot or wear sandals.
• Always wear respirator or face mask when working with unit in dusty
environments.
• Secure hair above shoulder length. Secure or remove jewellery, loose
clothing, or clothing with loosely hanging straps, ties, tassels, etc.
They can be caught in moving parts.
• Do not operate unit when you are tired, ill, upset, or if you are under
the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
• Keep children, bystanders, and animals away from work area. A
minimum of 15 meters when starting or operating unit. Do not point
blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets.
HANDLE FUEL WITH CAUTION
• Eliminate all sources of sparks or flame (including smoking, open
flames, or work that can cause sparks) in the areas where fuel is
mixed, poured, or stored.
• Mix and pour fuel in an outdoor area; store fuel in a cool, dry, well
ventilated place; use an approved, marked container for all fuel
purposes.
• Do not smoke while handling fuel or while operating the unit.
• Make sure the unit is properly assembled and in good operating
condition.
• Do not fill fuel tank while engine is hot or running.
• Avoid spilling fuel or oil. Wipe up fuel spills before starting engine.
• Move at least 3 meters away from fuel and fuelling site before starting
engine.
• Always store petrol in a container approved for flammable liquids.
OPERATE YOUR UNIT SAFELY
WARNING!
Stop the engine before opening the vacuum inlet door. The engine must
be stopped and the impeller blades no longer turning to avoid serious
injury from the rotating blades.

While vacuuming or blowing debris, hold the unit with the exhaust side

• This garden blower/vacuum is only designed for blowing away or
removal of leaves and other debris on the ground.
• Inspect unit before each use for worn, loose, missing, or damaged
parts. Do not use until unit is in proper working order.
• Keep outside surfaces free of oil and fuel.
• Never start or run engine inside a closed room or building.
Breathing exhaust fumes can kill.

• Exhausts fitted with catalytic converters get very hot during use
and remain so for some time after stopping. This also applies at idle
speed. Contact can result in burns to the skin. Remember the risk of
fire!
• To avoid static electricity shock, do not wear rubber gloves or any
other insulated gloves while operating unit.
• Do not set unit on any surface except a clean, hard area while
engine is running. Debris such as gravel, sand, dust, grass, etc.
could be picked up by the air intake and thrown out through
discharge opening, damaging unit, property, or causing serious
injury to bystanders or operator.
• Avoid dangerous environments. Do not use in unventilated areas
or where explosive vapours or carbon monoxide build-up could be
present.
• Do not overreach or use from unstable surfaces such as ladders,
trees, steep slopes, rooftops, etc. Keep firm footing and balance at
all times.
• Never place objects inside the blower tubes; always direct the
blowing debris away from people, animals, glass, and solid objects
such as trees, automobiles, walls, etc. The force of air can cause
rocks, dirt, or sticks to be thrown or to ricochet which can hurt
people or animals, break glass, or cause other damage.
• Never run unit without the proper equipment attached. When using
your unit as a blower, always install blower tubes. When using your
unit as a vacuum, always install vacuum tubes and vacuum bag
assembly. Make sure vacuum bag assembly is completely zipped.
• Check air intake opening, blower tubes, vacuum tubes, and elbow
tube frequently, always with engine stopped and spark plug
disconnected. Keep vents and discharge tubes free of debris which
can accumulate and restrict proper air flow.
• Never place any object in the air intake opening as this could
restrict proper air flow and cause damage to the unit.
• Never use for spreading chemicals, fertilizers, or other substances
which may contain toxic materials.
• To avoid spreading fire, do not use near leaf or brush fires, fireplaces,
barbecue pits, ashtrays, etc.
• Use only for jobs explained in this manual.
MAINTAIN YOUR UNIT PROPERLY
• Have all maintenance other than the recommended procedures
described in the instruction manual performed by an authorized
service dealer.
• Disconnect spark plug before performing maintenance except for
carburettor adjustments.
• Use oFSd ParkerBrand replacement parts; use of any other parts
may void your warranty and cause damage to your unit. Empty fuel
tank before storing the unit. Use up fuel left in
carburettor by starting engine and letting it run until it stops.
• Do not use any accessory or attachment other than those
recommended by manufacturer for use with your unit.
• Do not store the unit or fuel in a closed area where fuel vapours can
reach sparks or an open flame from hot water heaters, electric
motors or switches, furnaces, etc.
• Store in a dry area out of reach of children. Secure the machine
during transport.
SAFETY NOTICE
Exposure to vibrations through prolonged use of petrol powered
hand tools could cause blood vessel or nerve damage in the fingers,
hands, and joints of people prone to circulation disorders or
abnormal swelling. Prolonged use in cold weather has been linked
to blood vessel damage in other-wise healthy people. If symptoms
occur such as numbness, pain, loss of strength, change in skin
colour or texture, or loss of feeling in the fingers, hands, or joints,
discontinue the use of this tool and seek medical attention. An
anti-vibration system does not guarantee the avoidance of these
problems. Users who operate power tools on a continual and
regular basis must monitor closely their physical condition and the
condition of this tool.

1INSPECT THE LEAF BLOWER
Check the Leaf Blower / Garden Vacuum is not
damaged and all components are in good working
order before use. Regular periodic inspection is
required to ensure the Brush cutter is suitable for
the task.
Before using the Leaf Blower / Garden Vacuum a
risk assessment should be carried out respecting
the legislation in the country of use.
The fuel for this machine must be mixed with 2 stroke oil at a 40:1 ratio (Petrol:Oil)
Do not start the machine without adding oil to the engine first, this will damage the engine beyond repair.
1EXHAUST
When using the machine always be aware of the
exhaust. The exhaust and surrounding area will get
extremely hot while in use. Care should be taken
to ensure no object or body part makes contact
with this area.

Locate blower pipes A&B in your product carton. Connect the two blower pipes.
Firstly align the lugs with the lug locators. The pipes
are a tight fit to ensure a tight seal so it may take
some force to slide the lug into the locator.

Once the lug is pushed all the way into the locator
twist the blower pipes in opposite directions. this
will lock the lug into position.
Remove the securing screw from the lug on the
main body.

Align the lug on the main body with the lug
locator on the Blower pipes and slide it on to the
body. Again this may take some force as it is
necessary to make a tight seal.

6TWIST & LOCK PIPES ON TO MAIN BODY
Twist and lock the blower pipes so they securely
lock on to the main body.
Always replace the securing screw before using the machine to prevent the pipes from coming loose.
The pipes are a tight fit to ensure a tight connection this is so the machine works at its optimum whilst in use.
7REPLACE SECURING SCREW 8ATTACH ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER STRAP
Once the pipes are located correctly replace the
securing screw.
Attach the adjustable shoulder strap to the front of
the top handle near the switch. Be sure to attach it
with the strap leading away from the exhaust side of
the machine. Repeat the process with the other end
of the strap. Again make sure the Strap leads away
from the exhaust side of the machine.
ALWAYS ENSURE THE FAN COVER IS FULLY
CLOSED WHILST USING THE BLOWER FUNCTION.
THE FAN COVER NEEDS TO BE FULLY CLOSED TO
ENGAGE THE SAFETY SWITCH CORRECTLY. IF THE
IS SWITCH IS NOT ENGAGED THE ENGINE WILL
NOT START.
SAFETY SWITCH ENGAGED?
Always attach the adjustable shoulder strap to opposite side of the exhaust to prevent damage to the strap.
Adjust the strap until the machine sits comfortably
for the user and at an appropriate height for the
machine to be used eectively.

Connect the two intake pipes.
Firstly align the lugs with the lug locators.
The pipes are a tight fit to ensure a tight seal
so it may take some force to slide the lug into
the locator.
Once the lug is pushed all the way into the
locator twist the intake pipes in opposite
directions. this will lock the lug into
position.
Locate intake pipes C&D in your product
carton.

locator on the intake pipes and slide it on to
the body. Again this may take some force as
it is necessary to make a tight seal.
Replace the securing screw from the fan cover after the intake pipes have been attached in order for safe keeping.

Remove the securing screw from the fan
cover on the main body.

SAFETY SWITCH
Make sure that the intake pipe is twisted and
locked into position firmly. If the Intake pipe
becomes loose it may not engage the safety
switch suiciently and in turn may cause the
engine to cut out.

Fully open the zip on the side of the bag.
Feed 'Discharge Pipe E' through the opening on
the bag.
Be sure to follow assembly instructions carefully. Incorrect assembly may result in damage to the bag.
Hot surfaces will burn fingers or palms
Take extra care to make sure there are no hard objects or wildlife in the area you are vacuuming.
Vacuuming hard objects (i.e. stones) will damage the machine beyond repair.
ALWAYS ENSURE THE INTAKE PIPE IS FULLY
LOCKED IN PLACE WHIST USING THE VACUUM
FUNCTION. THE INTAKE PIPE NEEDS TO ENGAGE
THE SAFETY SWITCH CORRECTLY. IF THE SWITCH
IS NOT ENGAGED THE ENGINE WILL NOT START.

make an air tight seal.

Once the discharge pipe is located correctly
replace the securing screw.

Twist and lock the discharge pipe so it securely
locks on to the main body.
Pull the Smaller end of 'Discharge Pipe E' through
the small opening of the bag.

main body.
It is essential that the bag is set up correctly to prevent the machine from becoming blocked.
Be sure to follow assembly instructions carefully. Incorrect assembly may result in damage to the bag.

STRAP ATTACHING POINTS
There are two strap attachment points located on
the handle of the PBV-2600.
One is located to the rear of the handle and the
other to the front of the handle (throttle end).
ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER STRAP
It is important to use the adjustable strap whilst
using the vacuum function.
The adjustable strap both helps the user to work in
comfort and safety.

Take extra care to make sure there is no wildlife in the area you are planning to vacuum.
Follow the instructions carefully, the exhaust gets extremely hot and it will burn through the leaf collection bag if contact is made.
DO NOT VACUUM HARD OBJECTS (i.e. STONES) IT WILL DAMAGE THE MACHINE
BEYOND REPAIR. CHECK WORKING AREA FOR HAZARDS BEFORE PROCEEDING!
3FRONT HANDLE ATTACHMENT
If you are of a shorter stature the front
attachment point will be the preered point
to use.
Attach one end of the adjustable strap to the
rear attachment point. The metal snap hook
on the end of the strap will secure the strap
in place.

Attach the other end of the strap to the rear
securing hook on the leaf collection bag.
It is important to utilize the rear securing
hook as this will aid keeping the collection
bag away from the exhaust and prevent the
bag from kinking near the inlet.
With the shoulder strap attached and
adjusted correctly the PBV-2600 is now
ready to use in its vacuum form.

FILLING THE FUEL TANK
VACUUM ASSEMBLY
Fill the tank with clean, fresh pre-mixed
petrol and 2-stroke oil.
Replace the Fuel cap.
Never refuel when the engine is running.

Place on the ground or on a sturdy work surface,
and wipe any debris from around the fuel cap.
Remove the fuel cap.

Danger of fire and burn injury! Always use extreme care when handling petrol. It is highly flammable.
Never operate this blower if fuel system components are damaged or are leaking.
Don’t smoke or light any fires near the blower or stored fuel.
6REAR HANDLE ATTACHMENT
If you are of a taller stature the rear
attachment point will be the preered point
to use.
Attach one end of the adjustable strap to the
rear attachment point. The metal snap hook
on the end of the strap will secure the strap
in place.

Attach the other end of the strap to the rear
securing hook on the leaf collection bag.

hook as this will aid keeping the collection
bag away from the exhaust and prevent the
bag from kinking near the inlet.

adjusted correctly the PBV-2600 is now
ready to use in its vacuum form.
Be sure to follow assembly instructions carefully. Incorrect assembly may result in damage to the bag.
Dropping the machine can damage the engine beyond repair, ensure shoulder strap is secured in place before use.

STARTING THE MACHINE
STARTING THE MACHINE
1PRIME THE CARBURETTOR 2CHOKE POSITION
The engine switch is spring loaded. The default
position of the switch is the ‘ON’ position.
Prime the fuel system by repeatedly pressing the
fuel primer bulb at least 10 times.
For cold engine starts,
make sure the engine
choke lever is closed.
(UP↑position)
Place the machine on the ground, hold the handle
firmly with your right hand and pull the starter
slowly until you feel the resistance.
Start the machine by pulling the starter cord
upwards rapidly. If necessary, repeat this step two
or three times until the engine starts.
Run the engine at idle speed until operating
temperature is reached (2 to 3 minutes).
As the engine warms up, open the choke gradually
by slowly pushing the choke down to a ‘RUN’
position. The machine will now be ready for use.

Only operate the blower after ensuring the exhaust is functioning properly.
Never operate the blower unless it is properly assembled and in good working condition.
For warm starts the
choke lever should be
open.
(DOWN↓position).

ADJUSTING IDLE SPEED
FLOODED ENGINE PROCEDURE
The machine must be turned o while carrying out any maintenance on the machine.
1DISCONNECT THE COIL PACK
Disconnect the spark plug lead carefully by
pinching the top and pulling away from the
engine.
2REMOVE SPARK PLUG 3INSTALL SPARK PLUG
Remove the spark plug using the spark
plug wrench. If the spark plug is fouled or is
soaked with fuel, clean or replace.
Clean excess fuel from the combustion
chamber by pulling the starter cord several
times with the spark plug removed.
The ON/OFF switch must be OFF.
Install the spark plug and firmly tighten up
with the spark plug wrench.
If a torque wrench is available, torque the
spark plug to 148-165 inch-pounds.
Reconnect the spark plug lead.
Use a screwdriver to adjust engine idle speed to
3000±200r/min.
Turn the idle screw clockwise to increase engine
idle speed. Turn the idle screw anti-clockwise to
decrease engine idle speed.

Start the engine by following the procedures
described in the preceding pages.
Run the engine at idle speed until operating
temperature is reached. This generally takes 2-3
minutes.
Machine tubes and intake cover must be installed while adjusting engine idle.
Idle speed will also be aected if either the intake cover or machine tubes are blocked, damaged or incorrectly installed.

1. Cool the engine by allowing it to run at idle for 2 or 3
minutes.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch into the 'OFF'(O) position. This
will stop the engine. The switch is spring loaded and will
return to the default 'On'(I) position.
3. Never attempt to refuel a hot engine! Always allow the
Vacuum / Blower engine to cool before refuelling!
4. Always allow the exhaust to cool before storing and
transporting.
Hot surfaces will burn fingers or palms
When storing the Blower / Vacuum for long periods ensure all fuel is drained from the machine.

WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance on this machine, stop the engine
and disconnect the spark plug cap.
• Remove dirt and debris from the blower exterior.
• Inspect the engine, tank and hose for possible fuel leaks, and repair
where needed.
• Inspect the engine cooling fins for build-up of dirt or debris, and clean
as necessary.
• Inspect the entire machine for damage, loose or missing components
or fastenings, and repair as necessary.
EVERY 10 HOURS (More Frequently in dusty conditions)
• Loosen the air cleaner cover retaining screw, and remove the cover
and filter element.
• Inspect the filter. If the filter is distorted or damaged, replace it with a
new one.
• Wash the filter in clean fuel or soap water, and squeeze or blow dry.
Wash the air cleaner cover in clean fuel, and wipe. or blow dry.
• Once dry, install the element and cover, and then tighten the cover
retaining screw.
EVERY 10/15 HOURS
• Use the spark plug wrench to remove the plug (turn anti-clockwise
to remove).
• Clean and adjust the spark plug gap to 0.6-0.7mm. Replace any dam-
aged or visibly worn plug with a champion RCJ6Y or equivalent.
• Install the spark plug finger-tight in the cylinder head, and then
tighten it firmly with the spark plug wrench. If a torque wrench is
available, torque the spark plug to 148-165 inch pounds.
EVERY 50 HOURS (More Frequently in dusty conditions)
INSPECTION
Inspect the entire machine and tubes for damage, including loose or
missing components, and repair as necessary.
SPARK PLUG
Replace the spark plug with a champion RCK6Y, gapped to
(0.6-0.7)mm.
FUEL FILTER
Use a wire hook to extract the fuel filter from inside the fuel tank and then
remove and wash the filter element in clean fuel. Before reinstalling the
filter, inspect the condition of the fuel line. If damaged or deterioration
is noticed, the vacuum should be removed from service until it can be
inspected by a trained service technician.
STORAGE (30 days or longer)
CLEANING
Thoroughly clean the machine exterior
INSPECTION
Inspect the entire machine and tubes for damage, including loose or
missing components, and repair as necessary.
FUEL
Drain the fuel tank and then clear the carburettor and pipes by running
the machine until it runs dry of petrol.
LUBRICATION
Remove the spark plug, and then pour approximately 1/4-oz of oil into the
cylinder through the spark plug hole. Before reinstalling the spark plug,
pull the recoil starter 2 or 3 times to distribute the oil over the cylinder
walls.
AIR CLEANER
Remove, clean and reinstall the filter element.
CAUTION!
Never allow dirt or debris to enter the cylinder bore. Before removing
the spark plug, thoroughly clean the plug and cylinder head area. Allow
the engine to cool before servicing the spark plug. DO NOT tighten
or loosen the spark plug while the engine is hot! Incorrect spark plug
installation can result in serious engine damage.
