Assembly
A.Rotate base support upright (#2) until holes align correctly with
holes in base (#15). Attach base support upright (#2) to steel
base (#15) using four button head cap screws (#6), 3/16”washers
(#8) and 1/4-20 hex nuts (#9). Place lock block assembly without
spring (#5) into square tube on base support upright.
B.Install locking pin (#12) in one of three positioning holes on
upright tube (#7) and slide into base support upright (#2). Tighten
handle of lock block assembly (#5) to secure upright tube.
C. Slide aluminum tool tray (#14) onto upright tube (#7), leaving at
least a 2” gap between tray and locking pin (#12). Tighten set
screw in tray to secure.
D.Attach horizontal tube (#3) to upright tube (#7) using 7/16” hex
head bolt (#10) and 7/16” washer (#11).
E. Place lock block assembly with spring (#4) into square tube
on horizontal tube (#3). Press end cap (#13) into top of upright
tube (#7).
F. Place clamp (#1) into horizontal tube (#3) and tighten handle of
lock block assembly (#4) to secure.
For safety and stability, the clamp (#1) and horizontal tube (#3) should always extend directly over the middle of the base (#15).

Clamp Rotational Adjustment
The clamp on the PRS-3 OST can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing easy access to any component of the trimmer. To adjust the angle of
the clamp:
A.Loosen handle on lock block assembly
(#4) in horizontal tube (#3).
B.Rotate 100-3CT clamp to desired position. C. Retighten handle of lock block assembly
(#4) to secure clamp.

Height Adjustment
The PRS-3 OST has three height adjustment positions. To adjust the height:
A.Remove trimmer from repair stand. Hold upright tube (#7)
firmly and loosen handle of lock block assembly (#5) in base
support upright (#2).
B.Continue to hold upright tube (to prevent it from dropping) and
pull locking pin (#12) from upright tube (#7).
C. Raise or lower upright tube (#7)
D.Reinstall locking pin (#12) into desired height adjustment hole.
E. Retighten handle of lock block assembly (#5).
