Getting
started
INSTALLING
THE
BAITERY
To
install
the
battery
remove
the
magnetic
cover on
the
left
ear cup (Parrot
logo) and install
the
battery
into
the
compartment.
You
hear a
'click'
when
the
battery
is
securely installed.
CHARGING
THE
BAITERY
Before you use
the
headphones
for
the
first
time
the
Parrot Zik3 must
be
fully
charged.
You
can charge
the
Zik3
by
connecting
it
to
:
• Your
computer
via
the
micro
USB
cable I
USB
(supplied),
• A mains charger
(not
supplied)
and
the
micro
USB
cable I
USB,
• The wireless charger (notsupplied)
by
putting
the
inside
of
the
right
earcup
onto
the
charger.
The
button<!>
illuminates with a red
light
to
show
that
the
Parrot Zik3
is
char-
ging. Once charging
is
complete
the
button<!>
light
blinks white.
DOWNLOADING
THE
PARROT
ZIK
APPLICATION
Connect
to
the
App
Store
5M
or
GooglePiay™ and
download
the
free Parrot
Zik application. This application will allow you
to
change
the
settings
of
the
ParrotZik3.
SWITCHING
THE
PARROT
ZIK3
ON/OFF
Press
the
button<!>
to
switch
the
product
on/off
.

You
can set a
period
of
time
after
which
the
Parrot Zik3 automatically switches
itselfoff. To
do
so, launch
the
Parrot Zik
application
and
select=
>
Se
ttings>
Aut
o S'Nit
ch
off. This
option
is
deactivated
by
default.
For
the
Parrot Zik3
to
switch
off
automat
ically, you
must
n
ot
be
charging
or
using
them
. Make sure
that
the
sensor
located
on
the
right
hand speakei' do
es
not
touch
anything.
WEARING
THE
PARROT
ZIK3
Carefully adjust
the
headband
so
the
Parrot Zik3
fit
comfortably
over
your
ears.
Put
the
headphones
on
using
the
letters
(L)
and
(R)
to
help
you distinguish
left
and
right, this
is
printed
inside
the
headband
.
The
touch
sensitive pane!
is
located
on
the
right
earcup.
8LUETOOTH® CONNECTION
Before
the
Parrot Zik3 can
be
used with
your
smartphone
or
8/uetooth®
audio
player,
the
two
devices
must
be
paired.
Once
the
two
devices have
detected
each
other
it
is
no
longer
necessary
to
pair
each time.
1.
From
your
smartphone
or
Bluetooth®
audio
player, start a search
for
Blue-
tooth® peripherals.
2.
Select "Parrot Zik3".
3.
Enter
"0000"
on
your
smartphone
or
Bluetooth®
audio
player
if
asked
to
do
so.
Depending
on
your
model
of
smartphone
it
is
possible
that
a PIN
code
will
not
be
required.
Once
your
smartphone
is
paired
with
the
Parrot Zik3
the
two
devices will

connect
to
each
other
automat
ically each
time
that
the
ParrotZik3 is swi
tched
on.
It
is
not
possible
to
simultaneously
connect
several devices to
the
Parrot
Zik3.
You can activate
I
deactivate
the
automatic
connection
via
Bluetooth
(;Y
of
your
Pa
rrot
Zik3
to
your
srnartphone.
To
do
so, launch
the
ParrotZik
application
and
-
sel
ect=
>Settings
>
Auto
-
Connection
Bluetooth.
NFC
CONNECTION
If
your
device
supports
NFC
the
Parrot Zik3 can
be
paired
using
the
NFC
tech-
nology
. Switch
on
your
ParrotZik3,
enable
the
NFC
option
on
your
8/uetooth
®
device
then
pu
t
your
8/uetooth
®
device
in
contact
wi
th
the
outside
left
earcup.

Zik
App
Once
the
Parrot Zik
application
is
installed
on
your
smartphone
create
a user
account
to
benefit
from
all
the
Parrot Zik3 features. To create
this
account
you
can
log
in
with
:
• Your
Facebook
account
by
pressing
f,
• Your
Google
or
Google+
account
by
pressing
8+,
• A Parrot user
account
by
pressing Sign
up
now
.
You will
be
able
to:
•
Activate
I
deactivate
I
manage
Adaptive
Noise
Control,
• Use
the
Parrot
Concert
Hall
effect
which
allows
you
to
simulate
specific
musical environments.
•
Adjust
sound
frequencies
according
to
your
preferences,
•
Download
presets
from
your
friends
or
celebrities
and
li
nk
them
to
tracks
albums
or
genres.

THE
PARROT

TO
THE
AUDIO
SOURCE
You have
the
ability
to
connect
your
Parrot
Zik3
to
an
audio
player
via:
•
The
audio
cable
(supplied),
•
The
micro
USB I USB
cable
(supplied),
• Bluetooth®,
if
your
smartphone
I Bluetooth®
audio
player
supports
Blue-
tooth®
A2DP.
VoLUME
To increase
the
volume
swipe
your
finger
upward
on
the
touch
sensitive
panel.
To decrease
the
volume
swipe
your
finger
downward
on
the
touch
sensitive
panel.

music

head

restart
your
music
