① 6 ZONE SPEAKER OUTPUT
6 Speaker selector and 1 All Speaker button for selective zone addressing or all-area
addressing. Output power adjustable individually.
② PRIORITY FUNCTION
MIC1, MIC ALL, CHIME/SIREN and REMOTE AMP are prior to other signals.
(other sources are automatically muted)
③ 4-TONE CHIME
2 type 4-tone Chime is provided to use before and after announcement. Convenient
external chime terminal.
④ EMERGENCY ADDRESS
Automatic fire evacuation address is released as fire signal is received from contact type
fire signal receiver.
⑤ REMOTE POWER
Power is turned on/off by convenient remote control.

Compatible with USB memory or USB HDD.
(HDD has to be FAT 32 format and partitioned into 40 Gbytes to be found by the device.)

Receives remote controller signal of DVD Player remote controller.

Displays status of DVD or USB file.

9. LED DISPLAY
- EM turns on when fire alarm signal is received.
- PHANTOM turns on when PHANTOM button in rear panel is on.
- PROTECTION turns on when protective circuit recognizes error.

10. OUTPUT LEVEL LED DISPLAY
Turn down output volume in case CLIP LED turns on and helps protect the device.
11. STAND-BY/POWER LED DISPLAY
Green light is on for stand-by mode. Press POWER button to start operation, and LED
turns red.
12. POWER BUTTON
Provides power and device starts operation.
13. CONDENSER MICROPHONE VOLUME CONTROLLER

Internal condenser microphone. Talk into this part when addressing.
15. TALK
Turns on condenser microphone. Hold while address is being made. Release
when finished.
16. 6 CHANNEL EQUALIZER AND VOLUME CONTROLLER
Provides ± 10 dB control of BASS(100Hz) and TREBLE(10KHz)
17. CHIME VOLUME
2way 4-tone chime release button and its volume controller.
Useful before and after announcement is made.
18. SIREN VOLUME
In case of emergency, you can release siren and adjust its volume.

19. MASTER VOLUME CONTROLLER
Controls the volume of finally mixed sound by individual adjustment.

2. REMOTE CONTROL INPUT TERMINAL
- If remote address is wanted, connect REMOTE AMP terminal with remote
amplifier (DRA-9600).
- Top line: SIG+,SIG- and GND for vocal signals, FIRE terminals for automatic
emergency evacuation address by short circuit.
- Bottom line: left side 485+,485- and GND for remote amplifier and other line
signals.
(Right side 485+ and 485- are not in use)
- Connect CHIME with remote chime release button.

Enables PC control in short distance.
(*Only master volume and zone selection is available)
4. DVD OUTPUT TERMINAL
Enables sound and/or visual control of DVD player. Connects with external receiver or
LCD TV.
*Refer to “HOW TO CONNECT” for detail.
5. POWER INPUT
Connects with power cable.
*Double check power voltage before connecting!
6. EM OUT
Sends fire alarm contact signal in case of emergency.
7. POWER ON
Enables remote power control.
8. DC INPUT
Connects with DC power(+24 V) battery for temporary use. Make sure with polarity(+/-).
Cables have to be diameter of 3.0mm or over, and length of 8m or less. (power loss ≤1V,
FUSE is F3, F4 on POWER PCB)

9. EXTERNAL DEVICE JACK
- AMP IN : When connected, all other speaker output is muted but only
signals by this connection is released.
- PRE OUT, REC OUT : Used for another external device to record sound of this device,
or used for another amplifier by parallel connection.
* REC OUT level is -10dB, PRE OUT level is 0dB.
- PC IN ST/BAL : receives sound signal from PC.
* PC connection remarks:
STEREO Jack with TIP(LEFT), RING(RIGHT), SLEEVE(GND)
BALANCE with TIP(HOT), RING(COLD), SLEEVE(GND)
- PC OUT : When connected, PC signals received can release to linked amplifier.

10. LINE INPUT 5, 6 JACK
Connects with Line level device. Input Level is -20 dB (STEREO)
11. MIC, LINE INPUT 1~4.
INPUT 1~4: either microphone or line available. Individual power button for phantoms.
Input GAIN ranges -10dB ~ -50dB.
*XLR connector is needed to use phantom powered condense microphone.
(phantom power can’t be used by ¼” phone jack.)
* CAUTION!
In case phantom power is used, strong impulse noise might damage speakers.
It is recommended to minimize GAIN volume and master volume on front panel
before turning on phantom power.
Also, make sure phantom power is off before connecting/disconnecting microphone
and avoid strong impulse noise.
12. PRIORITY
ALL : Microphone and Chime/Siren are prior to other signals
MIC1 / TALK : Microphone 1, condenser microphone and Chime/Siren are prior to
other signals.
OFF : Only Chime/Siren is prior to other signals.
* General Address Priority
1. Fire Evacuation,Chime/Siren, Remote Amp, PC In.
2. Mic (Set by PRIORITY Switch)
3. Line 5/6 DVD Player.
13. TELEPHONE
Connect INPUT terminal with trunk or telephone switcher LINE.
Connect LINK terminal with regular telephone and now it is ready to use.
When ring signal is sent to INPUT terminal, ring tone will release to the selected zone.
During ring signal INPUT, double check ZONE SELECTOR lamps.
This will help avoid malfunction and operate system properly.
You can adjust Ring signal volume by Chime Volume knob on front panel.

How to use DVD, CD DISC
Available types of media and usage
- DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD_RW, CD, HDCD, CD-R, CD+R, CD_RW, MP3 CD, AVI CD, JPG CD
① Open the tray using the OPEN/CLOSE button, and press the OPEN/CLOSE button after putting
CD or DVD into the tray.
② If CD or DVD aren't on the tray or there is some problem, the screen shows "NO DISC"
③ Play CD or DVD as pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button.
④ If you press the PLAY/PAUSE button during playing, it will pause.
⑤ If you press the STOP button once during playing, CD or DVD will stand by in the PRE STOP state.
⑥ By pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button in the PRE STOP state,
CD or DVD replay and they stop completely by pressing the STOP butthzon.
- In case DISC is already on the tray when you power on
① It reads the track on the DISC.
② After selecting the desired DISC, operate by pressing the PLAY button.
PLAY Function
① After inserting a DISC, press the PLAY button.
② Start playing the DISC.
③ By pressing the REPEAT button of the remote control,
the selected track will be played back repeatedly.
OFF ---> Repeat one ---> Repeat All ---> OFF
④ By using the A-B button of the remote control, a designated section will be repeated.
Repeat OFF ---> Repeat A- ---> Repeat A-B ---> Repeat OFF
⑤ Finish the playing when all music has played.
Repeat Function
- Become the repeat function by pressing the REPEAT button of the remote control while playing CD or DVD.
① When starting
The repeat function is OFF state. Operate it by pressing the PLAY button.
② During a general operation
The repeat function operates by pressing the REPEAT button.
OFF ---> Repeat one ---> Repeat All ---> OFF ---> ....
③ REPEAT ONE
☞ The selected track will be played back repeatedly.
④ REPEAT ALL
☞ All music of the inserted disc will be played back repeatedly.

A-B Section-Repeat Function
- By designating the area of section-repeat using the A-B button, it plays the designated section repeatedly.
① When starting
Operate by pressing the PLAY button.
② During a general operation
Designate by pressing the A-B button at the start point of the repeat section.
Designate by pressing the A-B button at the end point of the repeat section.
☞ - Repeat Cancel ---> set A point(press A-B button) --->
set B point(press A-B button) ---> A-B Repeat....
RANDOM Function
- Select and play a music of the inserted disc at discretion by pressing RANDOM button.
SEARCH Function
-Wind faster forward or backward by pressing the SEARCH button ◀◀,▶▶ during playback.
☞ The winding speed is adjusted by X2, X4, X8, X20 in speed unit as pressing this button once.
STEP Function
-A movie changes to a pause picture by each scene as pressing the
STEP button once while playing DVD movie.
SLOW Function
-A movie changes to a pause picture by each scene as pressing the SLOW button while playing DVD movies.
☞ It is adjusted by 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7 in 6 step as pressing the SLOW button.
ZOOM Function
- Enlarge/Reduce the picture screen by pressing the ZOOM button while playing DVD movies.
☞ It is adjusted by zoom2, zoom3, zoom4, zoom1/2, zoom1/3, zoom1/4 in 6 step as pressing
the SLOW button.

How to operate USB
- Play MP3 file
You can play USB Memory or HDD.
HDD has to be formatted with FAT32.
Especially, external HDD has to be partitioned into every 40 Gb, too.
3.5 inch HDD with its own power supply is recommended. 2.5 inch HDD might not be found when
its power consumption is bigger than power supply.
USB Memory made by certain manufacturers might not be found.
- Play AVI file
You can play DIVX of AVI format. Clips might break up, play slowly or won't start according to
capacity and resolution of each file.
- Play JPG file
You can play JPG images in USB memory or HDD.

How to connect with Channel System
◆ Make sure that this device and Receiver are both turned off and unplugged.

How to connect with a regular TV
◆ Make sure that this device and TV are both turned off and unplugged.

▶ Plug in 3-colored RCA connector cable into female jack on the rear panel of the device.
▶ Yellow is for [VIDEO] jack, red is right sound channel for [R] jack, and white is left
sound channel for [L] jack. In case of mono TV, either red or white is fine.
▶ Change TV mode to [EXTERNAL INPUT] mode by your TV remote controller.

How to connect with a HD TV
◆ Make sure that this device and TV are both turned off and unplugged.
◆ In case of component connection, change video setting to [COMPONENT]mode.
You can adjust on [SETTING] or by using device remote controller's [VIDEO MODE] button.
▶ Plug in each connector into relevant component jack on rear panel of the device.
Green into Y, blue into Pb/Cb, Red into Pr/Cr.
▶ Plug in 3 colored RCA connector cable into 2CH jack on rear panel of the device.
Red into L, White into R. (Yellow is not used)
▶ Turn on TV and the device, change video mode on SETTING: [SYSTEM SETUP]☞
[VIDEO]☞[P-SCAN YPBPR]. If there is no signal, use device remote controller's
[VIDEO MODE] button and change to [P-SCAN YPBPR] mode.
