IGIENIZZATORE UV PER SPAZZOLINI DA DENTI
MANUALE D’ISTRUZIONE
Grazie ad una lampada UV igienizzante, l’igienizzatore Pasta del Capitano pulisce in profondità le setole di
quattro spazzolini contemporaneamente, eliminando germi e batteri.
Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio leggere attentamente le istruzioni riportate in questo manuale. Si consiglia
di conservare questo manuale per ogni eventuale necessità di consultazione futura.
INFORMAZIONI GENERALI ED ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA
Quando si usano prodotti elettrici, specialmente in presenza di bambini, è necessario osservare attentamente
tutte le norme generali di sicurezza.
PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO LEGGERE ATTENTAMENTE LE SEGUENTI
ISTRUZIONI:
• Non utilizzare il prodotto per usi diversi da quelli descritti nel presente manuale di istruzioni. Il
fabbricante non è responsabile delle conseguenze derivanti dall’utilizzo improprio di questo prodotto.
• Il prodotto è stato concepito per il solo uso domestico.
• Non riporre mai il prodotto in luoghi da dove potrebbe facilmente cadere nel lavandino o nella vasca da
bagno. Non immergere il prodotto nell’ acqua o in altri liquidi.
• Conservare il prodotto lontano da fonti di calore, dai raggi del sole, dall’umidità, da oggetti taglienti e
simili.
• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio mentre si fa il bagno o la doccia.
• Non maneggiare il prodotto o il cavo con le mani bagnate.
• Non poggiare l’apparecchio su una supercie umida o calda, ciò potrebbe causare danni all’apparecchio.
• Questo prodotto non è un giocattolo, tenerlo lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
• Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso da parte di persone (bambini compresi) con limitate capacità
motorie, sensoriali o psichiche o che non dispongono dell’esperienza e conoscenza necessarie per utilizzare
l’apparecchio. Tali persone devono dapprima essere istruite da una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza
oppure assistite durante l’uso dell’apparecchio.
• La luce UV può essere dannosa se diretta su occhi e pelle, non esponetevi direttamente alla luce UV,
guardando all’interno dell’apparecchio mentre la lampada è in funzione.
• La lampada UV contiene una minima quantità di mercurio, per evitare il contatto con tale sostanza evitare
accuratamente di romperla o schiacciarla.
• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio se non funziona correttamente, è danneggiato o se è caduto.

• Non usare detergenti, benzina, detergente per vetri, cera per i mobili, solventi per vernici, solventi e afni
per pulire l’igienizzatore. Usare un panno morbido e asciutto per pulire l’igienizzatore. Tenere lontano da
sostanze inammabili.
• Non utilizzare o posizionare mai il prodotto sotto coperte o cuscini, poiché si potrebbe surriscaldare e
provocare incendi e/o scosse elettriche.
• Gli elementi di imballaggio (sacchetti di plastica, cartone, polistirolo ecc.) non devono essere lasciati alla
portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo e devono essere smaltiti secondo quanto previsto
dalle normative vigenti.

DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO:

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
1. L’unità è alimentata da 4 batterie alcaline AA. Aprire il coperchio del comparto batterie che si trova nella
parte inferiore dell’unità. Inserire le batterie secondo le polarità indicate.
2. Inserire gli spazzolini nelle cavità presenti sul vano superiore. Per ottenere il massimo effetto igienizzante
le setole devono essere rivolte verso il centro del dispositivo, vedi gura 1. Accertarsi che il coperchio sia
bloccato. Per motivi di sicurezza, il processo di sterilizzazione parte solo ed esclusivamente se il coperchio
è bloccato.
Si raccomanda di sterilizzare gli spazzolini da denti prima di utilizzarli, almeno 2 volte al giorno.
3. Premere il tasto ON/OFF.
4. La parte bassa dell’indicatore LED inizia a lampeggiare e si illuminerà ad indicare il procedere della
sterilizzazione.
5. Trascorsi 15 minuti, l’indicatore si illuminerà completamente e il dispositivo si spegnerà automaticamente.
Lo spazzolino è igienizzato ed è pronto all’uso.
6. È possibile interrompere il processo di sterilizzazione in ogni momento premendo il tasto ON/OFF.
N.B: la lampada UV tende a riscaldarsi durante il processo di sterilizzazione. Non toccare la lampada
subito dopo aver sterilizzato gli spazzolini.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di procedere alla pulizia, attendere sempre almeno 5 minuti dall’ultimo processo di sterilizzazione.
1. Per aprire l’unità tenere la base con una mano e con l’altra ruotare delicatamente il coperchio in senso
anti-orario per rilasciare il blocco di sicurezza, vedi gura 2.
2. Togliere il coperchio e rimuovere la vaschetta di sgocciolamento.
3. Per rimuovere lo sporco lasciato dagli spazzolini, lavare la vaschetta di sgocciolamento con acqua e
detergente neutro. Prima di riposizionare la vaschetta, accertarsi che sia ben asciutta.
ATTENZIONE:
1. Per pulire il dispositivo, seguire attentamente le istruzioni del paragrafo “Pulizia e Manutenzione”.
2. Evitare che l’acqua o altri liquidi penetrino all’interno del dispositivo.
3. Dopo la pulizia, accertarsi che il dispositivo e tutte le sue parti sono ben asciutte.
4. Non lavare il dispositivo né le sue parti in lavastoviglie.
5. Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o sostanze abrasive per pulire il prodotto.
N.B: Rimuovere le batterie in caso di prolungato inutilizzo. In caso di sostituzione delle batterie,
utilizzare batterie dello stesso tipo e marca.

USER MANUAL
Thanks to a UV lamp, the sanitizer Pasta del Capitano thoroughly cleans the bristles of four toothbrushes
simultaneously, eliminating germs and bacteria.
Before starting using the appliance, please read carefully all the instructions below. It is advisable to save
this instruction manual for a future use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, the basic safety precautions below
should always be followed.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING:
• Do not use the product for different uses than those described in this instruction manual. The manufacturer
is not responsible for the consequences of improper use of this product.
• The product is for home use only.
• Do not place or store the product where it can fall or be pulled into a tub, shower stall or sink. Do not
immerse the unit in water or other liquid.
• Keep the unit away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp objects and similar ones.
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not handle with wet hands.
• Do not place the unit on a wet or hot surface, it could damage the unit.
• This device is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use this product if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into any
liquid. In case of doubts, please address to a specialised centre.
• Do not dismantle this product at any time other than when disposing of it.
• Never use the appliance in the following conditions:
- the lamp is damaged
- malfunctions
- the device has been damaged
• Do not use detergents, petrol glass cleaner, furniture polish, paint solvents, solvents and similar to clean the
sanitizer. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the sanitizer. Keep away from ammable substances.
• Do not place the appliance under blankets or pillows, as excessive heating may occur thus causing re,
electric shocks or other injuries to the user.
• Keep all packing material (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc..) must not be left within reach of
children as they are potential sources of danger and must be disposed of as provided by law.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

HOW TO USE
1. The unit is powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries. Open the cover of battery compartment, located in the
bottom of the unit. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
2. Insert the toothbrushes in the hollows on the upper compartment. To maximize the effect of sanitizing, the
bristles should be directed towards the center of the device, see picture 1. Make sure the lid is locked. For
safety reasons, the sterilization process will start only and exclusively if the lid is locked.
It is recommended to sterilize toothbrushes before use, at least 2 times a day.
1. Press the ON/OFF button.
2. The lower part of the LED indicator starts blinking and will light up to indicate the progress of sterilization.
3. After 15 minutes, the indicator will light up completely and the device will automatically switch off. The
toothbrush is sanitized and ready for use.
4. You can stop the sterilization process at any time by pressing the ON / OFF button.
Note: The UV lamp tends to heat up during the sterilization process. Do not touch the lamp immediately
after sterilizing brushes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, always wait at least 5 minutes after the last sterilization process.
1. To open the unit, hold the base with one hand and with the other gently rotate the cover counter-clockwise
to release the safety lock, see picture 2.
2. Remove the cover and remove the drip tray.
3. To remove the dirt left by the toothbrushes, wash the drip tray with water and mild detergent. Before
replacing the tray, make sure it is dry.
ATTENTION:
1. To clean the device, follow the instructions in section “Cleaning and Maintenance”.
2. Do not allow water or other liquids enter the inner part of the device.
3. After cleaning, make sure the device and all its parts are completely dry.
4. Do not clean the device or its parts in the dishwasher.
5. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive substances to clean the product.
NOTE: Remove the batteries in case of long no-use. When replacing the batteries, use batteries of the
same type and brand.
