Einleitung
Zur Nutzung eines Gira TKS mit dem Controlpro wird in dieser Kurzanleitung die Einrichtung
des TKS mit dem Gira Audioassistenten gezeigt. Für das Controlpro nutzen Sie bitte fol-
gende Einstellungen:
1. Audio-Komponenten auswählen
жWählen Sie die Option „Mikrofon und Lautsprecher“
2. Lautstärke einstellen
жStarten Sie den Lautstärke-Test und stellen Sie den Schieberegler nach Ihren
Bedürfnissen ein. Standardmäßig wird hier eine Position in der Mitte empfohlen.
3. Aufnahmegerät auswählen
жWählen Sie hier die Option „Microphone (USB Digital Audio)“

4. Mikrofonlautstärke einstellen
жMachen Sie den Sprachtest und stellen Sie den Schieberegler auf den zweiten
Strich von links.
жWählen Sie unten im Fenster „Einstellungen“ an und machen Sie im nächsten
Fenster einen Doppelklick auf das Mikrofon mit dem grünen Haken.
жHier können Sie jetzt unter dem Reiter „Pegel“ die Verstärkung einstellen. Diese
muss auf 0 gesetzt werden!
жÜbernehmen Sie die Einstellungen und schließen Sie das Fenster, um mit dem
Assistenten fortzufahren.
■Mikrofonlautstärke abgleichen
жDrücken Sie den Start Button und stellen Sie den Schieberegler mittig ein.

■Sprachqualität optimieren
жFühren Sie den Sprachqualitäts- Test durch.
5. Mikrofonlautstärke optimieren
жStellen Sie hier den Schieberegler auf den zweiten Strich von links.
6. Konfiguration testen
жStarten Sie den Konfigurationstest
7. Audioassisten abschliessen
жSchließen Sie den Audioassistent und haben Sie Spaß mit Ihrer Controlpro Tür-
spracheinheit!

Problem Lösung
Nach einigen Sekunden guter Ver-
ständlichkeit an der Türeinheit wird der
Sprecher am Controlpro plötzlich leise
und kaum hörbar bzw. abgehackt und
schlecht hörbar wahrgenommen.
Mikrofon wird zu sehr verstärkt, siehe Punkt
4 Mikrofonlautstärke. Lautstärke etwas redu-
zieren bzw. Mikrofonpegel etwas reduzieren
(Schieberegler nach links)
An der Türeinheit wird der Sprecher am
Controlpro in der richtigen Lautstärke
wahrgenommen aber mit einem Rau-
schen im Hintergrund.
Der Assistent verstärkt das Mikrofon des
Controlpro zu stark, siehe Punkt 5 Mikrofon-
lautstärke optimieren. Reduzieren Sie die
Mikrofonlautstärke (Schieberegler nach links)
An der Türeinheit wird der Sprecher am
Controlpro zu leise wahrgenommen.
Das Mikrofon wird zu wenig verstärkt, siehe
Punkt 4 Mikrofonlautstärke. Erhöhen Sie
die Mikrofonlautstärke (Schieberegler nach
rechts)

Introduction
For using a Gira DCS with the Controlpro, this quick guide shows how to set up the DCS with
the Gira Audio Assistant. Please use the following settings for the Controlpro:
1. Select audio components
жSelect the „Microphone and Loudspeaker“ option
2. Adjusting the volume
жStart the volume test and adjust the slider to your needs. By default a position in
the middle is recommended.
3. Select recording device
жSelect the option „Microphone (USB Digital Audio)“ here

4. Adjusting the microphone volume
жDo the speech test and move the slider to the second line from the left.
жSelect „Settings“ at the bottom of the window and double-click on the micro-
phone with the green tick in the next window.
жHere you can now set the gain under the „Level“ tab. This must be set to 0!
жAccept the settings and close the window to continue with the wizard.
■Calibrate microphone volume
жPress the „Start“ button and adjust the slider in the middle.

■Optimize voice quality
жPerform the voice quality test.
5. Optimize microphone volume
жMove the slider to the second line from the left.
6. Test configuration
жStart the configuration test
7. Finish Audio Assistant
жClose the audio assistant and have fun with your Controlpro intercom!

Problem Solution
After a few seconds of good intelligibility
on the door unit, the loudspeaker on the
Controlpro is suddenly quiet and barely
audible or cut off and hard to hear.
Microphone is amplified too much, see point
4 Microphone volume. Reduce volume slightly
or reduce microphone level slightly (slider to
the left)
At the door unit, the speaker at the Cont-
rolpro is perceived at the correct volume
but with a noise in the background.
The wizard amplifies the microphone of the
Controlpro too much, see point 5 Optimize
microphone volume. Reduce the microphone
volume (slider to the left)
At the door unit, the speaker at the Cont-
rolpro is perceived too quiet.
The microphone is not amplified enough,
see point 4 Microphone volume. Increase the
microphone volume (slider to the right)
