Installation to Double Wood Stud Wall
Wall plate (B) can be mounted to two studs that are 16" apart. Use a stud nder to locate the edges of the studs.
Use of an edge-to-edge stud nder is highly recommended. Based on their edges, draw a vertical line down each
stud’s center. Place wall plate on wall as a template. The top mounting slots should be 5.36" (136 mm) above the
desired screen center as shown in gure 1.1. Level plate and mark the center of the four mounting holes. Make
sure that the mounting holes are on the stud centerlines. Drill four 5/32" (4 mm) dia. holes 2-1/2" (65 mm) deep.
Make sure that the wall plate is level, secure it using four #14 x 2.5" wood screws (J) as shown in gure 1.2.
Skip to step 2.
• Installer must verify that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all
attached hardware and components.
• Tighten wood screws so that wall plate is rmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the
screws, greatly reducing their holding power.
• Never tighten in excess of 80 in. • lb (9 N.M.).
• Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the stud. The use of an "edge to edge" stud nder
is highly recommended.
• Hardware provided is for attachment of mount through standard thickness drywall or plaster into wood studs. Install-
ers are responsible to provide hardware for other types of mounting situations.

Installation to Solid Concrete or Cinder Block
Make sure that wall plate (B) is level, use it as a
template to mark four mounting holes. The top
mounting hole should be 5.35" (136 mm) above the
desired screen center as shown in gure 1.1 on page
2. Drill four 1/4" (6 mm) dia. holes to a minimum
depth of 2.5" (64 mm). Insert anchors (K) in holes
ush with wall as shown (right). Place wall plate over
anchors and secure with #14 x 2.5" screws (J). Level,
then tighten all fasteners.
• When installing Peerless wall mounts on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8" of actual concrete
thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid
part of the block, generally 1" minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specica-
tions. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to
avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.
• Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold concrete anchor.
• Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hard-
ware and components.

Drill holes and insert anchors (K).
Place plate (B)over anchors (K) and secure with screws (J).
Tighten all fasteners.
• Always attach concrete anchors directly to load-
bearing concrete.
• Never attach concrete anchors to concrete covered
with plaster, drywall, or other nishing material.
If mounting to concrete surfaces covered with
a nishing surface is unavoidable, the nishing
surface must be counterbored as shown below.
Be sure concrete anchors do not pull away from
concrete when tightening screws. If plaster/drywall
is thicker than 5/8", custom fasteners must be
supplied by installer.

Attach screen plate (C) to screen using the conguration for your screen as shown in gure 2.1.
For VESA 200 x 100, VESA 100 x 200, and VESA 100 x 100 mounting patterns, use four M4 x 12 mm phillips
screws (H). For VESA 200 x 200 mounting pattern, use four M6 x 12 mm phillips screws (I).
NOTE: If attaching screen plate (C) to PLP plate as shown in gure 2.2, follow instructions provided with PLP
plate.

NOTE: Use safety belt kit instructions in conjuction with this step.
Fasten clear strips to the four slots in screen plate (C). Set computer into screen plate (C). Fasten belt with cinch
buckle to belt without cinch buckle. Place tri-bar belt clips and belt guide onto belt as shown in the safety belt
instructions. Feed the ends of the belt through the screen plate (C) slots and through tri-bar belt clip. Cinch the
ends of the belt so that the computer is securely held.
NOTE: Trim off the end of the belt if necessary, then lightly burn the end of the belt to prevent fraying.

Fasten four M5 x 10 mm type-F socket pin screws (E) into wall plate (B) as shown in g. 4.1. Hook screen
plate (C) onto wall plate (B) as shown in g. 4.2. Tighten two M5 x 10 mm type-F socket pin screws (E) into
screen plate (C) and wall plate (B).
NOTE: For tilt, after completing step 4, remove top two screws in g. 4.1. Loosen other top two M5 x 10 mm
type-F socket pin screws (E) till screen can be adjusted to desired tilt. Securely tighten top two M5 x 10 mm
type-F socket pin screws (E).
