
HOW TO INSTALL THE REFRIGERATOR
Remove the packing and place the refrigerator where required. In order to get
maximum cooling from your refrigerator, follow these instructions carefully:
•Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources i.e. geysers, stoves,
heaters and direct sunlight.
•Try to install the refrigerator in a well ventilated place, and not in smaller
corners, stairs, cupboards or excessively narrow spaces. Best results
are obtained with a room temperature not exceeding 32°c.
•Make sure the refrigerator is placed on a level place.
•Insert the plug into the socket.
•Voltage range for CRYSTAL refrigerator is 175-250 volts.
IMPORTANT
•It is essential that the refrigerator should be connected to a reliable earth
point. The manufacturer will not be responsible for any loss or damage if
precaution in this regard is not observed.
STARTING THE REFRIGERATOR
Before turning the refrigerator on, clean the inside. Insert the plug in the socket,
switch on the refrigerator and check that the light inside the cabinet is on when
the door is opened. Turn the thermostat knob to the Max position, close the
refrigerator doors, let it run for about 4 hours, then turn the thermostat knob to
the Medium position (4). You will find this position more suitable normally.
HOW TO ADJUST THE TEMPERATURE
The temperature inside the refrigerator depends on:
•The room temperature
•Load inside the refrigerator
•Frequency of door opening
In order to maintain temperature inside the refrigerator in summer, keep the
thermostat at position 5-6.
If the conditions are normal, the Medium position (4) of the thermostat is
generally suitable.
SINGLE DOOR REFRIGERATOR
Under the water collector, there is an adjustable deflector which allows you to
modify the distribution of inside temperature of the refrigerator. In order to obtain
correct functioning of the appliance, it is suggested that you adjust the deflector
as follows:
