Installation Guide
RT1-DC Remote Thermostat & Sensor
The RT1-DC Remote Thermostat is a battery operated wireless
thermostat. It is designed to be used as a slave to a master Peli an
Thermostat or Peli an Thermostat Control Module. For additional

Wall Mounting
For best results, the Remote Thermostat should be mounted in a
lo ation that doesn't re eive dire t sunlight and is away from entry
doors where sudden temperature hanges may o ur. It should be
mounted at a height whi h allows the display to be easily read,
usually between 48” and 60” above the floor.
The rear over of the remote thermostat is mounted to the wall. To
separate the front over from the rear over, simply grasp the front
and ba k of the unit firmly and pull apart.
Atta h the rear of the Remote Thermostat to the wall using the
in luded plasti an hors. Position the rear over at the desired
lo ation, then mark the lo ations of the mounting points on the wall.
Drill a 3/16” hole for ea h an hor. Insert the an hors into the wall and
atta h the rear over using the in luded s rews. The thermostat an
also be mounted to an ele tri al box using the in luded ma hine
s rews.
Batteries
The remote thermostat is powered by 2 “AA” standard ell batteries
(in luded). Insert the batteries into the two battery holders on the

front se tion of the thermostat. Orient the batteries as shown on the
battery holders. When properly installed, the blue ba klight will blink
twi e rapidly and the display will show the urrent temperature. The
front se tion an then be re-atta hed by entering it over the rear
se tion and snapping it into pla e.
Setup
All setup fun tions of the remote thermostat are ompleted from the
Peli an Site Manager. This will be a essible when the remote
thermostat automati ally establishes wireless ommuni ations to the
Internet through your Peli an Wireless Gateway.
The onfiguration settings an be found in the Peli an Site Manager
from the Admin → Remote Thermostat Config menu. New remote
thermostats an take up to 10 minutes to register on the Peli an Site
Manager.
