2. Introduction
The LANRJ45C6P has been designed to provide protection to
Local Area Networks (LAN) from overvoltage surges and electro-
static discharges created by switching transients in buildings. LAN
systems are particularly prone to such disturbances because long
cable lenghts often behave like antennas to such atmosphereic
distrubances. The product is designed to fulfill all versions of POE
applications compatable with IEEE 802.af and IEEE 802.3at.
3. Quick Installation Overview
1. Mount the LANRJ45C6P onto grounded DIN rail
2. Connect the incoming data line into either port
of the LANRJ45C6P
3. Connect the outgoing data line into the
remaining open port of the LANRJ45C6P
5. Optional Mounting Bracket
The LANRJ45C6P can be used
with an optional mounting bracket
for flat-surface mounting. The additional
mounting bracket comes with a grounding
kit to be used with the product.
4. Mounting
LANRJ45C6P is designed to
clip onto 35mm (top hat) DIN
rail (standard EN50022) set in
the horizontal position with the
securing clips towards the
bottom of the rail and the label
text facing the correct way up.
