1.Batteryoperation
Installingthebatteries,firstturnbatterycoverfixtureanti-clockwiseto
loosenand putdownthebatterycover.Insert6xDsize(UM-1)
batteryintothe compartment.Ensurethebatteryisinsertedin
accordancewiththe diagramshown.
Closethebatterycoverand fasten thefixturebyturningclockwise.
If the radioisnottobe used foranyextended period oftime,itis
recommendedthatthe batteryisremoved fromthe radio.
2.ACoperation
Beforeyou plug theACcordintotheACsocket, be surethe voltage
iscorrect. If you havebatteriesinthe radioand usetheACpower
cord,the batterieswill automaticallybe disconnected.
Switchthe “Open”totheACcordcompartmenttoOPENposition,
pull back the compartmentdoorand cylinderoftheACcordstorage,
pull outtheACcordtogetthe required lengthtotheACsocket.
You can storetheACcordafteruseinthe oppositewayyou pull out
theACcord.
3.Powered viaDC INsocket
The radiocan be alsopowered viatheDC INsocketwhichcan allow
9-14 VoltDC.whichisdesigned tobe powered bythe vehicleorthe
boatsoyou can takethe radiowithyou outdoorsoron the boat.

1.Turnon the radiobyswitching the PowerknobtoFMposition.
The FMband indicatorwill be liton.
2.RotatetheTuningControltoselectthe desiredstation.
OnFM,the tuningscaleismarked inMHz(Megahertz).
TheTuning LEDwill be liton,ifthe radiostation hasbeen
correctlytuned.
3.AdjusttheVolumeControlforcomfortablelistening.
4.Toswitchoff the radio,turnthe Powerknob toOFF position.
5.Thesoft spring antenna isused forFMreception.
Operating yourradioAM(MW)
1.Turnon yourradiobyswitching the Powerknob toAMposition.

You can useastereo ormono headphonessetwitha3.5mm plug
forlisteningradioprogramviaheadphones.When youinsertthe
headphonesplug,the speakerisdisconnected.Thisisamono type
radio,sound fromtheheadphonessetwill be all inmono even ifyou
applyastereo headphonesset.

Switchthe Band selectortoAUX.position,theAux.band indicatoris
liton.Connectastereo ormono audiosource(likeCDwalkman)to
thisinputtolisten the audioprogramviathe speaker.

Connectwired microphone and adjustVolumeControl,Microphone
