CAUTION
•The adaptors are designed for this product. They cannot be used with any other
appliance. Never use a different type of adaptor with this Baby Monitor.
•This Baby Monitor is intended as an aid. Do not use it as a substitute or replacement
for responsible adult supervision.
•To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
•Make sure the Baby Unit and adaptor cable are always out of baby's reach. Install the
adaptor wire away from the baby to prevent any risk of injury.
•This audio monitor will not perform normally if there is high disturbance from the AC
mains.
•The antenna on the Parents and Baby Units are fixed, do not try to extend them.
Never attempt to modify this product.
AC Adaptor:
The AC Adaptors are low voltage power source that allow you to
use your household electricity to run the baby monitor.
Connect the AC Adaptors to the AC Adaptor Jack in the parent
and baby units. Both of these units plug into a standard electrical
outlet in your home. Turn off the units before you plug in or
unplug the adaptors.

Battery Installation
1. Locate the battery compartment door on the back of the
Parent and Baby Units.
2. Open the battery compartment door.
3. Insert 4 pieces of AAA batteries into the Parent Unit and
Baby Unit according to the +/- signs shown in the battery
compartment, respectively.
4. Replace battery compartment doors.
Battery Tips:
!If the product is not in use for a long time, make sure you disconnect both units from
the electrical outlets and remove the batteries from the units, otherwise battery
leakage and corrosion may occur.
!Dispose of the batteries safely.
!Only use rechargeable batteries, non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
CAUTION:
!Do not expose the batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine or fire.
!Replace batteries only with the same or equivalent type.

Battery Charging
1. Use only the AC adaptors that are included, plug into any standard household
electrical outlet.
2. Charging automatically begins as soon as you turn on the power outlet.
3. It takes 8 hours to charge the re-chargeable batteries to full capacity the first time.
4. Unplug the AC Adaptors from the electrical outlet or remove the unit from the
charger after charging.
Note:
!User can install 4 alkaline AAA batteries instead of the supplied re-chargeable
batteries. Do not recharge alkaline batteries.
!Batteries can be removed and the supplied adaptors can directly operate the units.
!The power indicator will turn off when the batteries are low. In this case the user
needs to re-charge the supplied re-chargeable batteries or change for new alkaline
AAA batteries.
First Time Use
Test sound reception before use and whenever location of transmitter is changed.
Test the Baby Unit transmission and the Parent Unit reception.
1. Turn on both units by pressing the Power key.
2. Set both Parent and Baby units to the same channel (1 or 2) by switching the channel
switch.
3. Set both units to the same ID code when using. Use pointed object like pen to select
a dip-switch (ON/1/2) in the compartment for different CTCSS codes to ensure
privacy. There are 4 combinations of CTCSS codes for user selection. (Please refer
to the CTCSS codes combination table)
4. Adjust the appropriate volume level by press VOL+ / VOL- key at the right side of unit.
5. Place the Baby Unit and the Parent Unit in their intended rooms.
6. Push the SENSITIVITY switch on the Baby Unit to a desired position.
7. Red light of sound level indicator on the Parent Unit lights when sound is received:
One or two dot lights for shallow sound received.
Three or more dot lights for louder sound received.
NOTE:
!Make sure both units are on the same channel, otherwise the baby unit and parents
unit will not be connect to one another.
!When you experience interference (buzzing or static, etc.), switch both units to an
alternate channel or any other combinations of CTCSS codes.
!Position the Baby Unit at least 1 meter away from the baby so that the microphone
can pick up the baby’s sound.

!The Baby Unit will go to a stand-by mode for power saving when it doesn’t detect
sound from the surrounding area.
!Unwrap and fully extend power cord for best transmission if adaptor is used.
Function Setup
Power On/Off
1. Press and hold the Power key at the right side of both units for 2 seconds until the
power indicator LED lights green.
2. Press and hold the Power key for 2 seconds until the indicator light turns off, unit is
powered off.
Volume Adjustment
1. Press VOL+/VOL- key to adjust the volume level from 1 to 3. Volume level
demonstration will be heard in each selection when the unit is receiving.
2. When adjusting volume level, max is 3 and min is 1.
Channel Selection
Select the Channel (CHANNEL 1 or CHANNEL 2) by using the left side channel switch.
CTCSS Code Selection
Radio security interference for this Baby Unit has been significantly improved and digitally
coded and tested in practice. The coding causes the receiver to be turned on only when
noises (e.g. of a waking baby) are transmitted from its own transmitter.
There are 4 different CTCSS codes for user selection with the DIP-Switch positioned in
the battery compartment.

Sensitivity Level Adjustment (Only for Baby Unit)
Adjust different detecting sound level sensitivity by switching the SENSITIVITY switch to
either NORM (normal sensitivity: 1-2 meters) or HIGH (High sensitivity: 2-6 metres)
position.
One Way Communication
The detected sound is transmitted from the Baby Unit to Parents Unit. The Baby Unit
cannot receive signal from Parents Unit.

Low Battery Alert
When the unit is low on power, the red LED power indicator lights turns on and the unit will
turn off automatically after 5 minutes. User needs to recharge the supplied rechargeable
batteries or change for new AAA batteries.
Out of Range Alert (Only for Parent Unit)
When the connection between Parent Unit and Baby Unit is broken, e.g.
- Baby Units is turned off during connection.
- The units are detected out of communication range (300m).
the range alert sound from Parent Unit will be heard every 8 seconds and the LED power
indicator will flash orange.
Trouble shooting
Problems
Solutions
1. No power
- Unit is not turned on. Turn on the unit.
- Check if the batteries are installed properly.
- Make sure the adaptor is connected to the Parent Unit
properly if using the adaptor instead of batteries.
- The batteries are low, charge or change for new batteries.
2. No sound signal
and power
indicator lights
- Volume level on Parent Unit is set too low. Adjust it to
higher volume.
- Sound sensitivity level of Baby Unit is too low, turn the
sound sensitivity switch on Baby Unit to high position.
- Units are out of range. Move Parent Unit closer to Baby
Unit
- Ensure both units are in the same channel and CTCSS
code.
3. Hearing static or
buzzing from
Parents Unit
- Make sure both units are set to the same channel and
CTCSS code
- Move the Parents Unit closer to the Baby Unit
Note: Communication range varies depending on surrounding
conditions such as physical obstructions.
- Reposition or replace batteries.
4. High pitched noise
- The Parent and Baby Units are positioned too close to each
other. Move Parent Unit away from Baby Unit.
- The volume is set too high. Lower the volume on the
Parent Unit.
