Use your thumb and middle nger to hold each end. Use
your pointer nger to toggle the volume control up/down
(Fig. 1). The volume control rocks back and forth, always
returning to the center position. EACH SHORT PRESS (1
sec.) will raise or lower the volume slightly. Pushing up
increases the volume. (Fig. 2)
Cleaning & Changing Tubes
Evok625 uses a hearing aid size 312 battery.
TO TURN ON - With your nger, gently open the door.
Insert battery and close the door. Your Evok625 is
equipped with a power on delay, you will be given several
seconds to seat the device comfortably in your ear before
it turns on.
When placing the battery in your device, position the
battery with the positive (+) at side up and insert it into
the battery compartment section of the battery door. If
the battery is inserted incorrectly or upside down, the
door will not close. Do not force the door to close.
Before insertion, please clean your ear and make sure the
battery door is closed properly.
CAUTION: Batteries are dangerous if swallowed! Keep
batteries out of the reach of children. Never put batteries
in your mouth for any reason they are easily swallowed.
If a battery has been swallowed, seek immediate medical
attention. For more information call the National Battery
Hotline at 202-625-3333.
Inserting Your Evok625m
Powering On/Off Your Evok625tm
•Hold the tubing with your thumb and
index nger close to the ear dome and
place the instrument over the top of
your ear. (Fig. A).
•Gently insert the ear dome into your
ear canal. (Fig. B)
•Move the retention lock into position
by lifting and placing it into the bowl of
your ear. The retention lock may be
cut off with scissors if it bothers you or
is difcult to use. (Fig. C)

1. To remove tubes gently rotate
the sound tubing holding the
instrument rmly.
3. Insert the cleaning tool
through the nose cone end.
Thread all the way through the
tubing & earbud.
2. Pull sound tubing from the
instrument by pulling directly
opposite from the body of the
Evok625.
4. To reassemble or change
sound tubing, simply line up
and push tubing until it snaps
into place.
Volume Adjustment (cont’d)
After inserting the battery, the Evok625 starts in
program one. Pushing the short button (most
forward) will change the memory. (Fig. 3) The number
of beeps correspond to the program. The programs
cycle in sequence 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4 etc....
Typical Programs:
1 - Speech - everyday use
2-Noise - Restaurant, meetings, etc.
3 - Optional Telephone
Your hearing professional may choose a different
conguration for your personal needs.
TO REMOVE - Simply grasp the tubing close to the
earbud or earmold and remove from ear canal. Lift
instrument from the top of the ear.
TO TURN OFF - To turn your Evok625 off, simply
open the battery door completely. Store in a safe dry
place without the battery inserted.
NOTE: Some irritation may occur due to becoming
accustomed to wearing a new instrument. If swelling or
redness occurs, discontinue use and visit your Doctor.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 1& 2)
Pushing down lowers the volume. There are a
maximum of ten volume settings. Every time you turn
on the Evok625, you may need to adjust the volume
to your preferred listening level if different than your
prescribed setting..
