ThePACCARtrucknavigationsystem
providesreal-timetruckmonitoring,
trucknavigation,virtualgauges,
hands-freeBluetooth®connectivity,
voicerecognition,andanintegrated
audiosystemwithsatelliteradioas
wellasMP3andiPod®capabilities.
ThePACCARtrucknavigationsystem
enablesallfunctionswithorwithout
thekeyintheACCorONposition.
Apowersavingsfeatureisenabled
whenitisbeingusedandtheignition
keyisnotintheACCorONposition.
Thepowersavingsfeaturewillenable
functionalityfor20minutesandthen
willenterstandbymodetoconserve
power.Theuserhastheoptionto
inserttheignitionkey(ifnotalready
inserted)andturnittotheACCorON
position.Alternatively,theusermay
pressthepowerbuttonontheremote
headunitwithoutusingtheignitionkey.
Iftheuserpressesthepowerbutton
withoutusingtheignitionkey,thenthe
PACCARtrucknavigationsystemwill
enableanother20minutesofuse.
IftheuserturnsthekeytotheON
position,thesystemwillenable
functionalitywithoutthepowersavings
feature.
NOTE
Afterextendedtimesofusewiththe
keyoutoftheignition,andtheop-
eratorstartstheengine,theunitwill
shutdownandrestart.
ThePACCARtrucknavigationsystem
consistsofaremoteheadunitand
atouchscreendisplay.Theremote
headunitislocatedintheinstrument
panelnearthetouchscreendisplay.
