Installation
Before installation make sure your TV is switched
off. Select a location on the back of your TV
within comfortable reach of both a powered
USB socket and the “Antenna In” coax socket.
1. Using the sticky pads provided attach the
back of the booster housing to the location
selected on the back of the TV.
2. Connect the booster output lead to the
“Antenna In” socket on your TV, and
connect the lead from your aerial into the
booster aerial in socket.
3. Plug the booster USB lead into a powered
USB socket on the back of your TV and
switch on your TV.
Your antenna’s signal strength will now boosted by
20dB.
Please Note: Make sure the booster does not
cover any vents or connector ports on your TV.

Additional Advice
If there is no powered USB port available on your
TV you can use a USB mains adaptor or connect
to a USB port on a PC or other USB enabled device.
You may need to use a USB extension lead (not
supplied). Power required DC 5V𝌂100mA.
Troubleshooting
If you experience reception problems,
please see below:
No picture or sound
Is the signal reaching your TV? Please check:
- That the booster is securely connected to the
aerial and TV “Antenna In” socket
- The booster is connected to a powered
USB port
The picture or sound is breaking up
- Use a good quality wideband aerial
ideally tted outdoors

Use good quality coax cable - poorly screened
cable can pick up noise/interference

Introduction
The USB Powered Compact SLx Booster ts
out of sight behind your TV and requires no
separate power supply unit as it is powered
by one of your TV’s USB ports. Sticky pads are
provided to attach it to the back of your TV.
The unit boosts VHF and UHF antenna signals
by up to 20dB.
