Introduction
◗With your new Satinelle super sensitive you can remove
unwanted hairs quickly and effectively in an extra-gentle way.
◗The new double-active pain softener relaxes your skin like a
massage, thereby more effectively masking the sensation of
epilation.As a result, you will hardly feel any pain.
◗The rapidly rotating epilating discs catch even the shortest hairs
(even as short as half a millimetre!) and quickly remove them by
the root.As a result, your skin stays smooth for up to four weeks
and regrowth is soft and downy.
Important
◗Check if the mains voltage indicated on the adapter corresponds
to your local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
◗Make sure the appliance does not come into contact with water.
◗To prevent damage and injuries, keep the running appliance away
from your hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, clothes, threads, cords,
brushes etc.
◗Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
◗Only use the appliance in combination with the adapter supplied.
◗If the adapter of this appliance is damaged, it may only be
replaced with an adapter plug of the original type.Turn to your
Philips dealer or the Philips organisation in your country for
replacement.
◗Do not expose the appliance to temperatures lower than 5°C or
higher than 35°C.
◗Do not use the epilating head on irritated skin or skin with
varicose veins, rashes, spots, moles (with hairs) or wounds
without consulting your doctor first. People with a reduced
immune response, e.g. during pregnancy, or people who suffer
from diabetes mellitus, haemophilia or immunodeficiency should
also consult their doctor first.
◗Your skin may become a little red and irritated the first few
times you use the epilator.This phenomenon will soon disappear
as your skin becomes used to epilation and the hairs become

thinner and softer. If the irritation does not disappear within
three days, we advise you to consult a doctor.
◗Regular massages with a loofah or exfoliating head may help to
prevent from ingrowing hairs. Do not use the loofah or
exfoliating head immediately before or after epilation.
◗Only epilate the armpits and bikini line with the precision cap (B)
attached.
General information about epilation
◗Epilating with the Satinelle super sensitive will leave your skin
smooth and hair-free for weeks.As epilation may cause skin
irritation or ingrown hairs in some women, we advise you to
read the text below.
◗When you use the appliance for the first time, we advise you to
try it out on an area with only light hair growth to get
accustomed to the epilation process.
◗(Type HP6444 only) This appliance has been extensively tested
on the armpits and the bikini line. Some women will develop skin
irritation when they epilate these areas for the first time.We
therefore advise you to try out the appliance on a small patch of
skin first.
◗After use you can apply a mild cream or body milk to soothe
your skin and reduce skin irritation.
◗Epilation is easier just after taking a shower or a bath.Your skin
must be completely dry, however.
◗We advise you to epilate before going to bed at night.Any skin
irritation that may occur will diminish overnight.

Using the appliance
◗Make sure your skin is clean, entirely dry and free from grease.
Do not use any cream before you start epilating.
1Put the adapter (J) in the wall socket.
2Insert the appliance plug (H) into the inlet socket (G) (Fig. 2).
3Remove the protective cover (A) (Fig. 3).
4Switch the appliance on by sliding the on/off switch (F) to the
desired speed setting:
◗Select speed I (Fig. 4) for areas with little hair growth and for
areas where bones are located directly beneath the skin, such as
knees and ankles.
◗Select speed II (Fig. 5) for larger areas with stronger hair growth.
5Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand
upright (Fig. 6).
6Place the epilating head (D) perpendicularly onto the skin so that
the epilating head (D) and the pain softener (E) are in proper
contact with the skin.
7Move the appliance slowly, with the pain softener (E) pointing
forward, against the direction of hair growth. Do not exert any
pressure (Fig.7).
8Stretch your leg when you are epilating the back of your knee.

9Switch the appliance off by sliding the on/off switch (F) to O
(Fig.8).
Epilating armpits and bikini line
(Type HP6444 only)This appliance comes with precision cap (B).This
precision cap reduces the number of epilating discs that are active and
stretches the skin during epilating. It is particularly suitable when
epilating armpits and bikini line.You will get the best results when the
hairs are not too long (max. 1 cm).
1Switch the appliance off (Fig. 8).
2Slide the pain softener for epilating the legs (E) off the appliance
with your thumbs (Fig. 9).
3Fit the pain softener for epilating the armpits and the bikini line
(C) onto the appliance (Fig. 10).
4Place the precision cap (B) onto the appliance. (Fig. 11) The
precision cap (B) can only be fitted onto the appliance in one
way.
5Switch the appliance on by selecting the desired speed.We advise
you to use speed II (Fig. 5).
6Stretch the skin with your free hand (Fig. 6).
7Place the appliance perpendicularly onto your skin, without
exerting any pressure (Fig. 12).
8Make sure both the epilating discs (D) and the pain softener (E)
are in proper contact with the skin (Fig. 13).
9Move the appliance slowly over your skin against the direction of
hair growth.
Exfoliating (type HP6447 only)
Use the exfoliating head only on your legs, not on your armpits or
bikini line.

1Make sure the appliance is switched off.
2Remove the epilating head by pressing the ribbed section and
sliding it off the appliance in the direction of the arrow (fig.14).
3Remove the pain softener (fig.15).
4Slide the exfoliating head onto the appliance. It only fits onto the
appliance in one way (fig.16).
5Switch the appliance on.
6Choose speed I or II, depending on the required exfoliating
intensity.We recommend exfoliating each leg for 1-3 minutes.
- To obtain a good skin appearance, use the exfoliating head once or
twice a week.
- Don't use any cream, foam, gel or lotion just before or during the
exfoliation.
- Don't use the exfoliating head within two days after epilation.
- For hygienic reasons, the exfoliating head should only be used by
one person.
- We advise you to exfoliate before going to bed at night.Any skin
irritation that may develop will diminish overnight.
- After exfoliation, apply a mild cream or body milk to hydrate the
skin and improve its texture.
Cleaning
Do not use cleaning agents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc.
to clean the appliance. Regular cleaning and maintenance guarantees
the best results and a long life for your appliance.
1Switch the appliance off and pull the adapter (J) out of the wall
socket.
2(Type HP6444 only) Remove the precision cap (B) (Fig. 17).
3Remove the epilating head (D). (Fig. 14) Press the ribbed sections
and slide the epilating head off the appliance in the direction of
the arrow.

4Clean all accessible parts and the discs (D) with the brush (K)
(Fig. 18).
Never try to remove the epilating discs from the epilating head(D).
5Slide the epilating head (D) back onto the appliance against the
direction of the arrow.
The epilating head (D) can only be fitted onto the appliance in one
way.
Cleaning the exfoliating head (type HP6447 only)
1Switch the appliance off.
2Slide the exfoliating head off the appliance (Fig. 19).
3Clean the exfoliating head regularly with the brush supplied (K).
You can clean the exfoliating head more thoroughly by rinsing it
under a running tap (Fig. 20).
◗The exfoliating head can be dried with a towel.
Storage
1Put the protective cover (A) back onto the appliance after use
(Fig. 21).
2Put the appliance and its accessories in the bag supplied with the
appliance.

unerwünschte Härchen auf besonders sanfteWeise schnell und
erfolgreich entfernen.
◗Das neue Double-Active-Schmerzlinderungssystem entspannt
Ihre Haut wie bei einer Massage und lindert dadurch den
Epilierschmerz.
◗Die schnell rotierenden Pinzetten erfassen selbst die kürzesten
Härchen von nur einem halben Millimeter Länge und entfernen
sie rasch mit der Wurzel. Danach bleibt Ihre Haut bis zu 4
Wochen glatt. Die nachwachsenden Härchen sind zart und dünn.
Wichtig
◗Prüfen Sie, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, ob die
Spannungsangabe auf dem Steckernetzgerät mit der örtlichen
Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
◗Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht mit Wasser in Berührung
kommt.
◗Halten Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät fern von Kopfhaar,Wimpern

◗Verwenden Sie den Epilierkopf nicht, wenn die Haut gereizt oder
entzündet ist, oder bei Pickeln,Ausschlägen und Wunden, bei
Krampfadern oder (behaarten) Muttermalen. Fragen Sie zuvor
Ihren Arzt. Gleiches gilt bei geschwächter Abwehrlage, z. B. bei
Diabetes mellitus (Zuckerkrankheit), Schwangerschaft,

Hämophilie und Immunschwäche.
◗Nach den ersten Anwendungen kann es zu leichten
Hautrötungen oder -reizungen kommen, da die Haare mit der
Haarwurzel entfernt werden. Das geht nach wenigen
Anwendungen vorüber.Außerdem lassen sich die
nachwachsenden Härchen leichter entfernen, da sie weicher und
dünner sind. Sollten die Hautreizungen allerdings länger als drei
Tage andauern, so konsultieren Sie bitte Ihren Arzt.
◗Durch regelmäßige Massagen mit dem Loofakissen oder dem
Peeling-Aufsatz können Sie das Einwachsen nachwachsender
Haare verhindern. Sie sollten das Loofakissen oder den Peeling-
Aufsatz jedoch nicht kurz vor oder nach dem Epilieren
verwenden.
◗Epilieren Sie die Achselhöhlen und die Bikini-Zone ausschließlich
mit aufgesetzter Präzisionskappe (B).
Allgemeine Hinweise zur Epilation
◗Nach der Epilation mit Satinelle Super Sensitive bleibt Ihre Haut
für Wochen glatt und ohne Härchen. Da die Epilation bei einigen
Frauen zu Hautreizungen oder Einwachsen der Härchen führt,
bitten wir Sie, die folgenden Hinweise zu lesen.
◗Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal gebrauchen, empfehlen wir
Ihnen, es zunächst an einer Stelle mit nur schwachem Haarwuchs
auszuprobieren, um sich mit dem Vorgang vertraut zu machen.
◗(Nur Typ HP6444:) Dieses Gerät ist für die Anwendung in den
Achselhöhlen und in der Bikini-Zone ausgiebig getestet worden.
Einige Frauen entwickeln in diesen Bereichen bei der ersten
Anwendung Hautreizungen.Wir empfehlen daher, das Gerät
zunächst an einer kleinen Hautpartie zu erproben.
◗Nach dem Epilieren können Sie eine milde Creme oder
Körperlotion auftragen, um eventuelle Hautreizungen zu mildern.
◗Nach dem Baden oder Duschen ist die Epilation am
angenehmsten. Ihre Haut muss aber völlig trocken sein.
◗Wir empfehlen, die Epilation abends vor dem Schlafengehen
durchzuführen. Eine eventuelle Hautreizung klingt dann über
Nacht ab.

Der Gebrauch des Geräts
◗Ihre Haut muss sauber, fettfrei und völlig trocken sein, wenn Sie
das Gerät benutzen.Verwenden Sie vor dem Epilieren keine Creme.
1Stecken Sie das Steckernetzgerät (J) in die Steckdose.
2Stecken Sie den Gerätestecker (H) in die Gerätebuchse (G)
(Abb. 2).
3Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe (A) vom Gerät (Abb. 3).
4Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter (F)
auf die gewünschte Position (Geschwindigkeit) schieben.
◗Wählen Sie die normale Geschwindigkeit I (Abb. 4) für
Körperzonen mit geringer Behaarung und für Hautpartien über
Knochen, z. B. Knie und Knöchel.
◗Wählen Sie die hohe Geschwindigkeit II (Abb. 5) für größere
Hautpartien mit stärkerer Behaarung.

5Spannen Sie die Haut mit der freien Hand, damit sich die
Härchen aufrichten (Abb. 6).
6Setzen Sie den Epilierkopf (D) senkrecht auf Ihre Haut, so dass
der Epilierkopf und der Zupfschmerzdämpfer (E) mit der Haut
vollständig in Berührung kommen.
7Führen Sie das Gerät langsam, mit dem Zupfschmerzdämpfer (E)
nach vorne, ohne Druck gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung (Abb. 7).
8Strecken Sie Ihr Bein aus, wenn Sie die Kniekehle epilieren.
9Schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Aus-Schalter (F) auf Position 0
(Abb. 8).
Epilieren von Achselhöhlen und Bikini-Zone
(NurTyp HP6444:) Zu diesem Gerät gehört eine Präzisionskappe (B).
Dieser Aufsatz reduziert die Zahl der aktiven Epilierpinzetten und spannt
die Haut während des Epilierens. Diese Anwendung ist besonders
angebracht beim Epilieren der Achselhöhlen und der Bikini-Zone. Den
besten Erfolg erzielen Sie, wenn die Haare nicht länger als 1 mm sind.
1Schalten Sie das Gerät aus (Abb. 8).
2Streifen Sie den Zupfschmerzdämpfer für die Beine (E) mit Ihrem
Daumen vom Gerät ab (Abb. 9).
3Setzen Sie den Zupfschmerzdämpfer für Achselhöhlen und Bikini-
Zone (C) auf das Gerät (Abb. 10).
4Setzen Sie die Präzisionskappe (B) auf das Gerät (Abb. 11). Die
Präzionskappe (B) kann nur in einer Richtung aufgesetzt werden.
5Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die gewünschte
Geschwindigkeit einstellen.Wir empfehlen Ihnen Position II (Abb. 5).
6Spannen Sie Ihre Haut mit der freien Hand (Abb. 6).
7Setzen Sie das Gerät ohne Druck senkrecht auf Ihre Haut (Abb. 12).
8Achten Sie darauf, dass die Epilierpinzetten (D) und der

Zupfschmerzdämpfer (E) vollständig mit der Haut in Kontakt
sind (Abb. 13).
9Führen Sie das Gerät langsam gegen die Haarwuchsrichtung über
die Haut.
(Nur Typ HP6447:) Peeling
Verwenden Sie den Peeling-Aufsatz ausschließlich an den Beinen,
keinesfalls an den Achselhöhlen oder in der Bikini-Zone.
1Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
2Nehmen Sie den Epilierkopf vom Gerät: Drücken Sie die
geriffelten Flächen zusammen, und ziehen Sie ihn in Pfeilrichtung
(Abb. 14) vom Gerät ab.
3Nehmen Sie den Zupfschmerzdämpfer vom Gerät ab (Abb. 15).
4Schieben Sie den Peeling-Aufsatz auf das Gerät. Er lässt sich nur
in einer Richtung aufsetzen (Abb.16).
5Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
6Wählen Sie, je nach der gewünschten Stärke des Peelings,
Geschwindigkeit I oder II.Wir empfehlen Ihnen ein Peeling von 1
bis 3 Minuten für jedes Bein.
- Ein oder zwei Peelings pro Woche sorgen für eine schöne Haut.
- Verwenden Sie kurz vor oder während des Peelings keine Cremes,
Schaum, Gel oder Lotionen.
- Verwenden Sie den Peeling-Aufsatz frühestens am dritten Tag nach
einer Epilation.
- Aus hygienischen Gründen sollte der Peeling-Aufsatz nur von einer
einzigen Person verwendet werden.
- Wir empfehlen, das Peeling abends vor dem Schlafengehen
durchzuführen. Eine eventuelle Hautreizung klingt dann über Nacht
ab.
- Eine milde Creme oder Körperlotion nach dem Peeling führt der
Haut Feuchtigkeit zu und verbessert die Hautbeschaffenheit.

Reinigung des Geräts
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Geräts keine scharfen Reinigungs-
und Scheuermittel oder Lösungsmittel wie Benzin, Azeton usw. Durch
regelmäßige Reinigung erzielen Sie die besten Resultate und eine lange
Nutzungsdauer für Ihr Gerät.
1Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, und ziehen Sie das Steckernetzgerät
(J) aus der Steckdose.
2(Nur Typ HP6444:) Nehmen Sie die Präzisionskappe (B) vom
Gerät (Abb. 17).
3Nehmen Sie den Epilierkopf (D) ab (Abb. 14): Drücken Sie die
geriffelten Flächen zusammen, und ziehen Sie den Epilierkopf in
Pfeilrichtung ab.
4Reinigen Sie alle zugänglichen Teile und die Epilierpinzetten (D)
mit der Bürste (K) (Abb. 18).
Versuchen Sie niemals, die Pinzetten (D) vom Epilierkopf abzunehmen.
5Setzen Sie den Epilierkopf (D) umgekehrt zur Pfeilrichtung auf
das Gerät zurück.
Der Epilierkopf (D) lässt sich nur in einer bestimmten Richtung
aufsetzen.
(Nur Typ HP6447:) Reinigung des Peeling-Aufsatzes
1Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.
2Nehmen Sie den Peeling-Aufsatz ab (Abb. 19).
3Reinigen Sie den Peeling-Aufsatz regelmäßig mit der beiliegenden
Bürste (K). Um den Peeling-Aufsatz gründlicher zu reinigen,
spülen Sie ihn unter fließendem Wasser ab (Abb. 20).
◗Der Peeling-Aufsatz kann mit einem Handtuch abgetrocknet
werden.

Aufbewahrung
1Setzen Sie nach Gebrauch die Schutzkappe (A) auf das Gerät
(Abb. 21).
2Bewahren Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör in der mitgelieferten
Tasche auf.

Introduction
◗Avec votre nouvel épilateur Satinelle super sensitive, vous
pouvez vous épiler rapidement et efficacement.
◗Le double système anti-douleur relaxe votre peau comme au
cours d'un massage, et fait oublier la sensation d'épilation.Toute
sensation de douleur est ainsi pratiquement supprimée.
◗Les disques rotatifs attrapent même les poils les plus courts (un
demi millimètre!) et les retirent à partir de la racine.Votre peau
sera douce et sans poils pendant quatre semaines et le poil
repousse doux et fin.
Important
◗Avant de brancher l'appareil, vérifiez que la tension indiquée sur
l'adaptateur correspond à la tension de votre secteur.
◗Ne laissez pas l'appareil en contact avec de l'eau.
◗Pour prévenir des dommages ou des blessures, utilisez l'appareil
à distance respectable des cheveux, cils, sourcils, vêtements, fils,
cordons, brosses etc.
◗Conservez l'appareil à l'écart des enfants.
◗Utilisez l'appareil uniquement avec le connecteur fourni.
◗Si l'adaptateur est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un

enceintes, les diabétiques, les hémophiles ou les déficients

◗Lors des premières utilisations votre peau peut devenir rouge et
irritée. Il s'agit d'une réaction normale qui diminuera
graduellement à chaque utilisation car la repousse a tendance à

être plus douce au toucher. Cependant, si l'irritation persiste plus
de trois jours, consultez votre médecin.
◗Les massages réguliers avec un loufa ou avec la tête d'exfoliation
peuvent vous aider à éviter les poils incarnés. N'utilisez pas le
loufa ou la tête d'exfoliation immédiatement avant ou après
l'épilation.
◗Avec l'adapteur de précision (B) épilez uniquement les aisselles
et la ligne du maillot.
Epilation en général
◗L'épilation avec Satinelle super sensitive laisse votre peau douce
et sans poils pendant plusieurs semaines. Etant donné que
l'épilation peut chez certaines femmes provoquer une légère
irritation de la peau, nous vous recommandons de lire
attentivement les recommandations ci-dessous.
◗Quand vous utilisez l'appareil pour la première fois, nous vous
conseillons de commencer par un endroit avec peu de
croissance de poils de manière à vous habituer à l'épilation.
◗(Type HP6444 uniquement) L'appareil a été testé d'une manière
exhaustive pour les aisselles et la ligne du maillot. Certaines
femmes peuvent subir une irritation de la peau quand elles
utilisent l'appareil pour la première fois dans ces zones
corporelles. Nous vous recommandons d'essayer d'abord
l'appareil sur une petite portion de peau.
◗Après utilisation, vous pouvez appliquer une crême hydratante
ou un lait corporel qui aidera à réduire l' irritation de la peau
après l'épilation.
◗Les poils sont plus facile à épiler après un bain ou une douche.
Mais votre peau doit être complètement sèche durant l'épilation.
◗Il est conseillé de s'épiler le soir, afin de laisser les rougeurs
disparaître pendant la nuit.
