WSXGA+, wide format 1680 x 1050
Wide format, super extended graphics array is
a display specification that is capable of
displaying 1680 x 1050 resolution or
approximately 1.7 million pixels.
5 ms on/off response time
On-Off response time is the period required
for a liquid crystal cell to go from active (black)
to inactive (white) and back to active (black)
again. It is measured in milliseconds. Faster is
better: lower response time means faster
transitions and, therefore, results in fewer
visible image artefacts in the display of
transition of texts and graphics. On-Off
response time is a more important measure in
the display of business content like documents,
graphs and photos.
HDCP ready
High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection
(HDCP) is a copyright protection system that
is incorporated into the DVI connector. It
helps stop unauthorised duplication of
copyrighted content. HDCP allows you to play
protected content media such as movies and
concerts. It checks the signal to prevent piracy,
allowing only legal copies of content to display.
Dual input
Dual input provides connectors to
accommodate input of both analogue VGA and
digital DVI signals.
Embedded power supply
An embedded power supply is a power
adapter built into the body of a display device
that replaces a bulky external power adapter.
User-friendly hot key and OSD
The user-friendly hot key and on-screen
display controls are dual systems for
conveniently fine-tuning display settings to
meet a variety of needs. Press the hot key on
your monitor's frame for automatic picture,
quick contrast and brightness control or use
the on-screen display feature to fine-tune your
display settings.
