-This is Phinistec Music Player-

♪Button and Control
1. Power button
* press and hold for 3 seconds to turn on or off.
* short press to turn off/on the screen.
2. Line out port
3. Earphone port
* supports 3.5mm output to connect earphones.
4. Volume Up
* press to increase volume.
5. Volume Down

* press to decrease volume.
6. Micro SD card slot
* expand the storage of the device, maximum
support 256g TF/Micro-SD card.
7. USB-C & OTG Port
* used for charging and file transfer.
8. Back
* click to come back to the previous page.
9. Play/Pause
* starts/pauses the playing music.
10. Next/Fast-forward
* during music playback, short press to switch the
next song; hold to fast forward.
11. Toggle Key
* during the music playback, press to toggle lyrics
display or album cover.
12. Previous/Rewind
* during music playback, short press to switch the
previous song; hold to fast backward.
13. Reset button
* short press reset button to restart the device when
the player is freezes.

♪Basic Operation
Power on: In shutdown state, long press the power
button and hold for 3 seconds to turn on.
Power off: In the boot state, long press for 3 seconds
to shutdown.
♪Main Interface
There are 11 parts on the main interface: Music, Folder,
E-Book, Video, FM Radio, Bluetooth, Recorder, Photo,
Calendar, Alarm Clock, Setting. Click “ ” “ ” to
browse the options, short click“ ”to enter.
♪Music
Short click “ ” to enter the My Music, you will see:
All Songs: short click “ ” to select music file and
click “ ” to Play/Pause.
Artists: Enter to select your favorite Artist.
Albums: Enter to select your favorite Album.
Genres: Enter to select your favorite Genre.
Folder: Display local files or TF card storage file

♪Folder
Short click “ ” to enter the Folder.
You will see:
Local Folder: Access all your system files from here
Card Folder: Access all your TF card files from here
♪E-Book
Short click “ ” to enter the E-Book.
If the device insert the TF card, there will have “Local
folder” and “Card folder ” listed on the ebook menu.
Short click “ ” to enter folder to choose the book
you want to read, then short click “ ” to start reading.
On the reading interface:
Short click “ ” will start automatic page-turning
mode.
Short click “ ”to enter the ebook settings menu, you
will see:
Auto Reading Speed: It will automatically turn pages
according to the time you set (press the volume
button to adjust)

♪Bluetooth
Short click “ ” to enter the Bluetooth, you can see
previously paired devices,
Click “ ” to connect or cancel match.
Click “ ” to enter Bluetooth setting.

Short click “ ” to enter the recorder, you will see:

Start Voice Recording: click “ ” to start/pause,
click “ ” to save recording yes or no.
Recordings Library
Record Settings: Record Format, Set Rec Bit Rate,
Track AVR Mode.
Storage: Internal Memory, External Memory.
♪FM Radio
Short click “ ” to enter the FM Radio.
Click “ ” “ ” to adjust frequency point.
Click “ ” to enter FM Radio Setting, you will see:
Start FM Radio Recording
Save To Station
Clear Station
Auto Tune
Tuner Region
FM Recording
♪Video(it supports AMV, AVI formats only, need convertor)
Short click “ ” to enter the video.
While Playing Video:
Click “ ” to enter video setting, you will see:

Brightness
Repeat
Delete Video
Update Playlist
♪Alarm Clock
Short click “ ” to enter the Alarm clock, you will see:
Alarm On/Off
Alarm Time
Alarm Cycle
Alarm Music
Alarm Volum
♪Calendar
Short click “ ” to enter the Calendar,
Short click “ ” can choose Year, Month, Day.
Long click “ ” can back to today’s date.
Note: the calendar function is only for viewing, if you
need to adjust the date, please set the local date and
time in the Setting menu.

♪Photo
Short click “ ” to enter the Photo.
While viewing photo, short click “ ” to photo setting.
Slide Show Setting: Time Per Slide, Repeat, Shuffle,
Thumbnail.

♪Setting
Short click “ ” to enter the Setting, you will see:

Shutdown Setting: Scheduled powered off time, Idle
shutdown
Display setting
1. Backlight time: the backlight will be out when it
reaches the set time (press power button to turn
on the screen).
2. Brightness: setting the brightness value.
Date and Time: Time Setting, Date Setting.
Language: Set the system language for operation.
Information: Player Information, Disk Space
Screensaver: Screen Off, Digital Clock

Key Led: You can choose "off", or the light time is "1
second", "2 seconds" and "3 seconds".
Format Device: will delete all the files.
Factory Default: the player’s system setting will be
restored to factory setting (The files in Micro SD
card will be retained).
♪USB-C/Line Out Port
USB mode:
1. in USB mode, when player connected to
computer, the cable can be used to charge the
player or transfer data.
2. The Z6 music player with built-in mini-USB On
The Go (OTG) port, it can read tracks and data
from OTG devices via USB-OTG cable (not
included);
Line Out:
1. With the line out port, you can connect this
player with amp as like car stereo, vehicle audio
system and home audio via Auxiliary Audio Cable
(not included).

♪Common Faults and Solutions
Can’t turn on the Z6?
please long press the power button for about 3
seconds, If the display does not light up,
please check if the player has run out of power:
connect the player to an adapter and try again after

charging 10 minutes;
please use a pin to touch the reset button(hole)
marked 13 as pictures above.

Player freezes / Stucks?
please try to short press reset button to restart the
device.
Can't hear music when playing?
please check if the volume setting is too low;
please check whether the earphone is plugged in
properly or whether earphone is damaged;
please make sure that you plug headphone into the
headphone port, not the line out port;
please check if your music format is supported or
damaged;
please check if the TF card is damaged.
Can't transfer music files from computer?
please check if the player is connected to the
computer;
please check whether the player in USB mode;
please check whether the Micro SD card is correctly

inserted and that the card not damaged;
please check whether the Micro SD card or the player
has enough storage space.
TF card cannot be used in the player?
1. for the first time to use the TF card in the player,
please format the TF card first.
2. please double check if the TF card is damaged or
not.
Can I adjust the volume on the device when using
Bluetooth?
If your headphones are Bluetooth and have volume
adjusting button, then yes.
Can this music player work with iTunes? Is it
compatible?
No, unfortunately it is NOT compatible with iTunes.
This functions more like an external hard drive. You
simply plug it in, an option to open it as a folder pops
up, and you simply drag and drop your music.

Additional information about micro SD card:
This Z6 Player can support maximum 1TB micro SD
card, but claimed 256GB only in the product
description page, that’s because it will easily cause
stuck problem once plugged large capacity cards,
especially when the card is fully filled with files. And,
the more files put into the card, the longer time it will
take to scan the files by the player.
