IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Please note the safety instructions and study these instructions carefully
2. Our system establishes its own wireless connection from the input device to the hymn board. You do NOT need WiFi
on site. Thanks to the direct wireless connection from the input device to the hymn board, you have almost unlimited
freedom of movement in the church room.

5. Observe the disposal laws applicable in your country; Please separate plastic and paper or cardboard boxes when
disposing of them
6. If your device no longer works properly, has been exposed to liquids or has been damaged in any other way, leave any

8. Check all power source connections - DO NOT use defective outlets, cords or connectors
9. Only use the mounting material that we have supplied. If lost, please feel free to contact us; we expressly point out
that the use of other fastening materials for wall brackets or tripod brackets can damage the HYMN-1-E. In this case,
the warranty claim expires

and production, we have set ourselves the goal of being able to provide the user with an innovative, modern
and yet user-friendly display system.
By using the highest quality components, sophisticated assembly techniques and eld-tested tablets, we
guarantee trouble-free, long-term use at the highest level.
Our product was developed according to the strictest quality criteria and meets all common standards.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The statutory guarantee conditions apply.
Only use the components supplied by us.
Power supplies with incorrect voltage rating can cause damage to the display, for which we do not guarantee
take over. If, contrary to expectations, you have a problem, we will help you quickly and unbureaucratically.
Please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange everything else for you. The warranty claim also
expires in the event of improper repairs by non-authorized workshops. Proof of purchase (proper invoice
from the seller) is required to claim warranty services. The guarantee is provided exclusively for the original
purchaser.
POST-GUARANTEE SERVICE
Since the HYMN-1-E models are our own product, we are still at your disposal for adjustments, extensions
and service years later.
Accessories such as wall brackets, cables, mains adapters or tripods can be purchased separately in the event
of damage or loss.
1. HYMN BOARD / LED PANEL
INSTALLATION
• Mount the Vesa mount in a convenient location where the
hymn board can be seen from every seat.
• Fasten the hymn board with the 4 threaded screws provided.
• Plug the barrel connector of the supplied power pack (12~24V
DC, 5.5/2.1mm) into the socket provided on the back of the
hymn board.
• Now connect the power pack to a power source (socket or
optional AKKU power pack)
• Please only use the supplied plugs and cables for this purpose.

2. INPUT DEVICE
Turn on - briey press the E/A button on the side. The „Send“ control LED lights up and automatically deletes all
hymn boards when switched on.
Your system is now fully operational. To turn off the input device, press the E/A button for more than 2 se-
conds. Please make sure that your input device is charged regularly. To do this, only use the power supply unit
that we have supplied. When the batteries are full, the operating time is approx. 8 hours.
Our system provides a total of 10 memory spaces (5 per side). As soon as you have started the input device,
you will automatically be taken to page 1 and can start capturing.

2. RECORDING OF AD TEXTS
Via the desired hymn number eld you get to the input mode
3. RECALL THE SAVED ENTRY
After recording and SAVING all entries, as described under
3.2 and, if necessary, selecting the color with „C“, you can
now send all data to the displays during the service with
just one keystroke.
So that your entry is now also visible on the hymn board,
press on the eld number of the desired song number/ver-
se. Here in the example „1“ - As conrmation, the number is
now highlighted in color.
Now press on „nächstes Lied“ („next song“) and the display
will automatically jump to eld no. 2
By tapping on the eld to the right of „Lied“ („Song“) you
show the system that you want to make an entry here. As
conrmation you will see that this eld is now highlighted
in colour.
If an older entry is still saved, that you want to change,
tap X to delete the line.
Please use the keyboard to enter the 5 digits for the
song: Proceed with „Strophe“ („Verse“) In the same way.
Once you have completed the acquisitions, press the red
„Enter“ button.
You will now return to display page 1

Field no. 2 is now highlighted in color and appears on the display.
Even without direct line of sight to the hymn board, you will know what is being displayed. If you would like to
switch off the LED display, simply press the eld number and the colored background will go out; at the same
time, the display on the LED display will off. If necessary, you can activate and deactivate the display very easi-
ly and quickly without having to switch off the system yourself.
4. OVERVIEW MENU C / SETTINGS
4.1 Setting the COLOR display / menu C
You can choose different colors for the song number and verse.
To do this, go to menu „C“ - as shown in the function overview - and select „Set color“.

To make a color selection, select a color by tapping the box,
then tap „Lied Farbe“(„Song Color“) or „Strophe Farbe“
(„Verse Color“). You will immediately see the assignment on
the input device (here light gray and green).
You can also generate a color yourself. To do this, press
„Eigene Farbe“ (“Custom Color”).
You can use the sliders in this submenu to create a color of
your choice.
The color is displayed in the preview box above the sliders.
Now go BACK and tap Song Color or Verse Color.
The color you created is now assigned to the corresponding
eld.
4.2 SETTING THE DISPLAY DURATION (TIMER FUNCTION)
In normal mode, the hymn board continues to display the text you enter until you make a selection, either by
song number or Next. In addition, the software enables you to generate the display duration via a timer func-
tion.
To do this, go to the SETTINGS menu via „C“.

You can select the automatic DISPLAY DURATION from 1 to 250 seconds using the slider.
The song number/verse disappears automatically after the entered time has elapsed.
Here, too, your entry is only permanently recorded when you press „Save“ on the start page.
4.3 BRIGHTNESS HYMN BOARD
Your hymn board is equipped with a sensor and automatic brightness adjustment, which regulates itself depen-
ding on the incidence of light on the display. In automatic mode, EACH of the displays may adjust itself separate-
ly; as soon as you switch to manual brightness control, your entry applies to ALL mounted shymn boards SAME.
An individual adjustment to the ambient light is only possible via the automatic function.
Manual setting
To do this, switch the automatic to OFF and move the slider to the RIGHT to make it lighter or to the LEFT to
make it weaker. To reactivate the internal brightness sensor of the hymn boards, switch the automatic function
to OFF.
4.4 BRIGHTNESS INPUT DEVICE
The display of your input device is programmed with a default value. If you want to adjust the brightness to
your needs, use the slider RIGHT - darker / LEFT - brighter. The same applies here – the values are only per-
manently set for you after you have pressed SAVE on the start page.
4.5 DELETE kEYBOARD
With this function you can simplify the entry of song number/verse. Once you switch to the capture page, the
Song and Verse elds will be set to blank. In normal mode you can still see the previous entry, but then you have
to empty the eld with an X before the new entry can begin.
4.6 CHANGE INPUT kEYBOARD
Our system offers you the possibility to choose bet-
ween a reduced character set KEYBOARD A and the
full character set „TASTATUR B“ („KEYBOARD B“)
If you only need the most necessary letters and no
special characters, „TASTATUR A“ („KEYBOARD A“) is
ideal for you.
However, if you want the full character set,
Upper and lower case with special characters, then
please select „TASTATUR B“ („KEYBOARD B“) here.

4.7 RUN-THROUGH FUNCTION
To enable the community to prepare the hymns BEFORE the service, enable the run-through function.
The song numbers and verses you have already entered will
appear on the hymn board in order so that the community
can prepare for the songs.
To do this, go to page 4 on the start page, here you will nd
the option – „DURCHLAUF“ („RUN TROUGH“) through at
the top right.
The input device now switches to this subpage.
You see WHAT is currently being displayed or you can use the
slider to set the display duration.
Once the service begins, press „STOP DURCHLAUF“ („STOP
RUN“).

ERRORS AND FIXES
NO DISPLAY ON THE HYMN BOARD - Possible Causes
A ) The hymn board is not properly connected to a power source.
B ) The supplied power supply unit was not used - ATTENTION !! In this case, the electronics of your hymn
board may have been damaged - WARRANTY LOST!!
C ) The reception between the input device and the hymn board is disturbed, reduce the distance to the hymn
board and check again if everything is displayed correctly.
D ) Check whether the LED control indicator „SEND“ ashes when you press a number 1.-10 or „next song“.
E ) Also check whether your input device still has enough battery power.
