Setup Option 1
1. Set the emitter near the source’s IR.
2. Set the receiver near the television or anywhere where you want to point the remote control.
3. Plug in the included 5V DC 500mA power adapters on both sides.
4. Test the connection by pointing the remote at the receiver side.

In this setup, IR control is primarily used with the included IR cables. This is useful in cases where you do not want the IR emitter and receiver to be in view.
Setup Option 2
1. Plug in the IR emitter cable into the IR wireless emitter.
2. Plug in the IR receiver cable into the IR wireless receiver.
3. Plug in the included 5V DC 500mA power adapters on both sides.
4. Test the connection by pointing the remote at the receiver side.
Setup Option 3
1. Set the emitter near the source’s IR.
2. Set a second emitter near a second source’s IR.
3. Set the receiver near the television or anywhere where you want to point the remote control.
4. Plug in the included 5V DC 500mA power adapters on both sides.
5. Test the connection by pointing the remote at the receiver side.

Setup Option 4
1. Plug in the IR emitter cable into the IR wireless emitter.
2. Plug in a second IR emitter cable into another IR wireless emitter.
3. Plug in the IR receiver cable into the IR wireless receiver.
4. Plug in the included 5V DC 500mA power adapters on both sides.
5. Test the connection by pointing the remote at the receiver side.
In this setup, IR control is primarily used with the included IR cables. Multiple sources can be controlled by adding an additional IR emitter.
This setup is useful in cases where you do not want the IR emitter and receiver to be in view.

Troubleshooting
1. Make sure that the IR wireless emitter or cable is pointing at the source IR. If not pointing correctly, it will not work.
2. Make sure the remote is pointing at the IR receiver when in operation.
3. Distance is limited to a maximum of 656 feet or 200 meters in open space.
4. If remote is not picking up on the IR, try repositioning the IR emitter and receiver further away from the device (5-10cm).
5. Certain IR sources (U-Verse) tend to have problems with the IR wireless kit. We do not recommend using the wireless kit for these devices.
6. If the distance between the remote control and IR receiver is short, then make sure the battery is suicient on the remote control. The working
distance between the IR receiver and remote control is determined by the IR signal power of the remote control. If the battery is low, then this will
aect the distance.
7. The material of where you are placing the IR wireless repeaters matter. If placed in a cabinet that is made out of metal, radio frequency may
not pass through.
