Slides down onto rails.
Tighten set screws.
Select the best window
Use the Speedtest App to
determine signal strength.
Make sure an outlet is within 10
feet inside the house.
Do not plug the IDU into the wall
outlet until Step 5.
Clean the window

Adhesive backing has center slit to aid removal.
Up arrows indicate how to orient rail-mounting
tool.
Keep 5-inches from window edge.
Press hard up and down rails for 30 seconds.
Keep rails and window dry while mounting.
Pop the tool off using the tabs on the sides
when done.
Alignment cling goes inside,
lined up across from the ODU
that you mounted outside in
the previous step.
a) Stay within 10 feet of your Echo 5G while
commissioning. Turn WiFi off and select the Echo device
in your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings. You may need
to activate Bluetooth tethering in your Bluetooth
settings and put your phone into airplane mode.
b) Navigate to web address 10.0.0.1 and type the last six
digits of your device’s serial number (located on the
packaging box and the bottom of the ODU) into the
designated box.
c) Press ‘Enter.’
d) Then press ‘Go’ on the next page.
e) The LED on the indoor-facing side of the ODU will blink
red while connecting before showing a solid color to
indicate signal strength. When the LED turns a solid
green, your Echo 5G commissioning is complete!

blinking, remove the spacer
ring from the IDU and try
again.

Removal Instructions
Slide the end of the
removal tool under the
rails, starting at the
bottom.
Work your way up the rails
from the bottom or side.
When you have loosened the
adhesive enough you can
carefully remove it by hand.
Use WD40 and the rough
side of a sponge to clean
any remaining adhesive
off your window.
Note: The light will blink red upon startup or reset before changing to indicate signal status.
