PLANET ICA-550W provides an advanced digital solution of Internet
Camera with pan / tilt capability and 802.11g wireless compliant device to
meet more application demands. The ICA-550W supports either Ethernet
or 802.11g WLAN network access, it can be placed anywhere for various
surveillance demands. Besides the benefit above, via DDNS / UPnP
supports, the ICA-550W can be accessed any time, any place via standard
web browser at your fingertips.
With a CMOS type image sensor, and cutting-edge dual video encoder
MPEG4 and MJPEG technology, the ICA-550W delivers high quality audio
and video. Plus the powerful camera utility, up to 9 cameras, the system
administrator can manage and perform recording, monitoring task via
existing network connection. The ICA-550W can be integrated with web
pages with live voice and voice stream.
The motion detection in the ICA-550W can notify users via email when
detecting any movement in the monitored area. With its Plug-N-Watch
capability, no expertise required, your first surveillance network can be
easily, efficiently established in few minutes..
Pan and Tilt capability
• The ICA-550W is able to perform PAN (-64°~+64°) and tilt
(+28°~-34°) adjustment, which brings more convenience and
flexibility in network deployment.

• Supports both MPEG4 and JPEG video compression.
Easy configuration
• The network administrator can configure and manage the
ICA-550W via Windows-based utility or web interface based
on 10BaseT/100BaseTX Ethernet with Auto- MDIX or
802.11g wireless interface. Supporting TCP/IP networking,
SMTP e-mail, and HTTP network standards, PLANET ICA-
550W can be applied and utilized in the mixed IP network
environment
Bundled recording utility
• Provides the convenience to schedule your recording plan
Simultaneous video / audio streaming
• Supports G.726 audio compression, also streaming video and
audio simultaneously on the camera utility or web browser.
Image flip
• When ICA-550W is in an upside-down installation site, the
image can be reversed for proper viewing
Motion Detection
• Supports up to 4 motion detection areas and monitors any
suspicious movement in specific area.
DDNS support
• In order to view video over Internet, user must know the
Internet IP address of the gateway used by ICA- 550W. An
easy-to-remember DDNS (Dynamic DNS) name will help you
memorize your site more easily.
