7. Remove the playback media
Disc; Press the eject key 20) to remove,
disc will be automatically ejected.
SD card; Push the SD card inwards then
the card should pop out for removal.
This document describes the main functions needed to
operate the player.
1. You should find the following items in the package:
A Plextalk
An AC adaptor with power cable
Plastic bag containing documentation;
This Quick Reference
Safety Instruction
User Guide CD
USB memory; Remove the USB
memory from the unit.
8. Rewinding /Fast forward
Press and hold the left side of the
cross shape key 11) to rewind.
2. Connecting Plextalk to mains outlet
Insert the small round plug on the end of AC adaptor into
back of the Plextalk 1). Ensure the supplied power cable is
connected to the AC adaptor firmly before plugging 3 - pin
mains plug into a mains outlet.
3. Power On/Off, setting sleep timer
Press and hold power On/Off button 19).
Press the sleep timer key 13) to select the timer setting.
4. Insert the playback media
Disc; Insert the disc into the slot 3) at front of the unit until
automatically taken into the player.
SD card; Insert the SD card into the card slot 6) on the left
side of the unit.
USB memory; Insert the USB memory into the USB slot 4)
on the left side of the unit.
5. Playback and stop
To start playback, press the play/stop 17), to stop the
playing, press the play/stop key 17) again.
6. Adjusting the volume, speed and tone
Volume; Press the upper side of the volume key 9) to
increase, press the down side to decrease.
Speed; Press the upper side of the speed key 10) to
increase, press the down side to decrease.
Tone; Press the upper side of the tone key 8) to increase,
press the down side to decrease.
Press and hold the right side of the
cross shape key 11) to forward.

6) SD card slot
9. Selecting media and title
Press the bookshelf key 14) to select
the playback media, then press the left
or right side of the cross shape key 11)
to select the title.
10. Moving by Level (bookmark)
Press the upper side or down side of
the cross shape key 11) to select the
navigation level (bookmark), then
press the left or right side of the cross
shape key 11) to move within the
required level (bookmark).
11. Setting the bookmarks
Press the bookmark key 15) at the
desired position, then press the enter
key 18) to confirm.
12. Select the menu
Press the menu key 12), then press
the left or right side of the cross shape
key 11) to select the menu and press
enter key 18). Or cancel by cancel key
16).
13. Get book information
Press the information key 7) to get the
book information.
