Important camera features
Thebuilt-in electronicflashlifts up for
picture-taking,folds down for carrying ease.
Theflashisdesignedtobeusedforevery
picture–outdoorsandindoors.
Thered buttonbothcharges the flashand
takesthe picture.
1. Pressthered button halfwaytocharge
theflash. A red light in theviewfinder
meansthe flash is charging.
Note: Itis not necessarytohold the
camerato your eye while thered
lightis on. In about 5 seconds
theflash is charged, the redlight
goes off and you can take a
picture. Or,you canreleasethe
redbutton andtheflash will stay
chargedfor several minutes.

photographicsystem (Sun600series
cameras) that makes it possible to take
greatpictures any time – in any light.
Underthe direction of a tinyelectronic
computer,the system – a camera with a
built-inelectronic flash and Polaroid 600
film –measures light withjusttheright
amountof flash to create an ideal
photographiclight for takingbeautiful
pictures–outdoorsandindoors.
Inaddition, the Model 660 AutoFocus
camerahas an automatic focusing system
whichconsists of a fixed frontlensandan
internalrotating disk with four lenses. Using
soundwaves to measure the distance
betweenthe cameralensand your subject,
thecomputer selects thecorrectlens that will
putyoursubjectin sharpfocus.
Forthe firsttime,the high-energy batterybuilt
intoevery film pack powers both the camera
andtheelectronicflash, whichmeansyou
neednever purchase otherbatteries.
Polaroid 600 color film – the most
light-sensitiveinstant color film made – was
developedjust for thiscamerasystem.
Other Polaroid films will not fit into or work
withthiscamera.
