Gaution: Avoid contact with caustic paste inside film. ln case of contact,
wash off immediately. Do not cut, burn, take apart battery or allow metal to
touch terminals.
THE AUTOFOCUS BY-PASS AND NON.FLASH BUTTONS
. Supercolor 670AF: To photograph a dayl¡ght scene (more than 4ml12ll.
away) through glass:
Press and hold ¡n the autofocus by-pass button (Picture 8, A), then
press the non-flash button (Picture 8, B) to take your picture.
. Supercolor 645CL,635CL, 645, 635, and Spirit 600: To avoid a ftash
reflection when photographing through glass in daylight:
Press the non-flash button (Picture 8, B) to take your picture.
THE CLOSE-UP LENS (Supercolor 645CL and 635GL only)
To use, slide the lever (Picture 1,Q) to the 0.6 - 1.2m (2- 4ft.) setting. The
oval frame (Picture 1,R) which is now visible in the viewfinder serves as a
reminder that the close-up lens ¡s ¡n place. When your subject's head fills
the frame (Picture g) you are at the correct distance for a close-up.
For close-ups of small children, objects, or more than one person, keep the
oval frame ¡n place but measure the 0.6 - 1 .2m {2 - 4 ll.) d¡stance some
other way. Use the full viewfinder area - not the oval frame - to frame the
picture.
When you have finished using the close-up lens, return the lever to the
1 2m - @ (4 ft. - o) setting. Lowering the flash unit will also slide the lever
back autornatically.
THE LIGHTEN/DARKEN CONTROL
Use ¡tlo lighten (A) or to darken (B) a second pic-
ture of the same subject.
When you have finished re-taking your pic-
tures, return the control to the cehier (C).
Should you forget, a double white anow üi[l apoear
inside the bottom of the viewfinder to serve ai á
reminder.
KEEP DEVELOPER ROLLERS CLEAN
Dirt on the rollers inside the film door can cause repeated spots, bar
patterns and other faults on your pictures. Clean rólers wittr a aámp fint-
free cloth.
IF THE CAMERA DOES NOT OPEHATE
. Check the picture counter. When the film pack is empty, the flash will
charge but the shutter will not operate.
' when the red l¡g.ht on the back óf the frash unit is on, the frash is charging
and you cannot take a picture.
