RM8 WIDE-DISPERSION ARRAY
SATELLITE LOUDSPEAKER
The RM8 Wide-Dispersion Array Satellite Loudspeaker
ensures more dispersion pattern options for the utmost in
placement flexibility. The satellite is offered with a center
channel in 5-Pack Speaker Systems (subwoofer sold sepa-
rately). (See chart on page 7.) RM8 Satellites can also
be purchased individually (in black or white) to integrate
with any RM700 Series configuration, so you can tailor
the kind of surround sound you prefer.
WIDE-DISPERSION ARRAY
The RM8 front channel satellites feature two 2 1/2" midrange drivers, with one midrange
driver and a 3/4" dome tweeter on one baffle and a single midrange on the adjacent baffle.
This Wide-Dispersion Array design creates a more enveloping, less localizable soundfield
for listeners throughout the room. Even off axis listeners hear perfectly balanced and
articulate sound. The Wide-Dispersion Array affords more dispersion pattern options for
the utmost in placement flexibility.

DYNAMIC BALANCE®
Advanced laser imaging technology allowed Polk Audio engineers to see the entire vibrating surface of a driver
and tweeter; they could actually see the resonance develop on the speaker cones—resonance that is the root
cause of loudspeaker distortion (A). Being able to see the resonance develop, they determined the “Dynamic
Balance” of high-tech materials, geometry and construction that effectively tune out the offending resonance (B).

RM8 SATELLITE
The RM8 Satellite creates a more enveloping, less localizable
surround effect. Drivers are mounted on opposing baffles for
a broader and larger front stage sound field and a more immer-
sive and atmospheric surround field.
Dual-driver satellite design ensures more dispersion pattern
options for the utmost in placement flexibility. Speakers are sold
as “left” and “right” speakers for optimized performance. (See

Heavy-duty, non-resonant composite enclosures feature an
elegant, high-gloss finish that creates the ideal décor accent.

RM Series 5-packs offer you several configuration options
for designing your own home theater system. The systems
use different combinations of our RM7 and RM8 satellite
speakers, which enable you to create the kind of surround
experience you want. Just add a RM705 subwoofer and you
have a complete home theater system that can deliver even

The new RM705 Home Theater System is a complete six-piece
5.1 channel system that presents truly impressive performance

theater. The RM705 is part of our 700 Series, also available in
6.1 and 7.1 configurations.

4 RM7 satellite speakers, 1 RM7 center channel and

RM6750 HOME THEATER SPEAKER SYSTEM
This is the entry-level home theater system that made the
legendary Polk Audio sound available to more people. The
RM6750 significantly raised the performance standard of any
other sub/sat system in this price range. As a complete system,
The RM6750 comes with its own subwoofer module, an 8"
long-throw driver and high current power amplifier for real
home theater bass thrills.
Satellites use a 3 1/4" (8.25cm) polymer composite cone driver:
lightweight and efficient, for clear, distortion-free midrange.
Center speaker uses two of the same high quality drivers
for even greater output capability.
