AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
Leggere attentamente e integralmente le istruzioni
d'uso prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio. Conservare
il presente manuale di istruzione per successive
consultazioni.
GENERALI
•Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio o tenerlo lontano
dai bambini. Pericolo di soffocamento! I bambini
possono soffocare a causa dell'uso non conforme del
materiale da imballaggio.
•Dopo aver tolto l’apparecchio dal suo imballaggio,
controllare che l’apparecchio sia integro, in caso
contrario rivolgersi al venditore (vedi pag. 2).
•Non utilizzare il prodotto in presenza di sostanze
tossiche.
•Non lasciare l'apparecchio esposto ad agenti
atmosferici e a temperature estreme.
•Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da parte
di persone (inclusi bambini) con limitate capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'esperienza e/o
della conoscenza necessaria, a meno che tali
persone non vengano sorvegliate o abbiano ricevuto
indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio. Sorvegliare i
bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con
l'apparecchio.
•Questo apparecchio risponde alle relative disposizioni
di sicurezza. Controlli, riparazioni e manutenzione
tecnica devono essere effettuati solo da personale
qualificato dell’assistenza (vedi pag. 2). In caso
contrario, la garanzia decade.
UBICAZIONE
•Posizionare l'apparecchio su una superficie asciutta,
piana e resistente al calore. Durante il funzionamento
l’apparecchio deve restare in posizione orizzontale e
nel caso di caduta accidentale è necessario farlo
verificare da un tecnico, rivolgersi all’assistenza (vedi
pag. 2) perché l’apparecchio potrebbe non essere
sicuro.
•Non posizionare l'apparecchio vicino a fonti di calore
(fornelli accesi, stufe elettriche…) o accanto a
materiali infiammabili (gas esplosivi e/o combustibili).
•Assicurarsi che le feritoie di aerazione
dell'apparecchio non siano ostruite. Pericolo di
surriscaldamento!
•Non collocare alcun oggetto sull'apparecchio e non
coprirlo durante l’uso. Pericolo d'incendio!
•Attenzione! L’apparecchio si surriscalda. Toccare o
muovere l’intero apparecchio solo quando è
completamente raffreddato, oppure utilizzando
l’apposita maniglia posta sulla caldaia.
•Stirate solo su superfici adeguate allo stiro che siano
resistenti al calore e che lascino permeare il vapore.
ELETTRICHE
•Prima di effettuare la connessione alla rete
elettrica, verificare che la tensione e frequenza di
rete corrispondano a quelle indicate sui dati
tecnici dell'apparecchio e che la presa di
alimentazione sia munita di messa a terra.
L'impianto elettrico dovrà essere conforme alle
leggi vigenti.
•Non immergere mai l'apparecchio, il cavo o le spine
nell'acqua o in altri liquidi.
•Non collocare il cavo di rete su angoli vivi o vicino a
superfici o oggetti caldi ed assicurarsi che non
subisca torsioni, schiacciature o stiramenti. Il
materiale isolante del cavo può danneggiarsi.
•Non utilizzare l'apparecchio se il cavo alimentazione o
altre parti importanti dell'apparecchio sono
danneggiate. Nel caso in cui sia necessario la
sostituzione della parte danneggiata rivolgersi
all’assistenza (vedi pag. 2).
•Non utilizzare l'apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze
di lavandini, vasche da bagno, docce o recipienti pieni
d'acqua. Non toccare mai l'apparecchio con mani o
piedi bagnati quando la spina è inserita. Non usare
l'apparecchio a piedi nudi.
•Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito durante
l'uso! Se non utilizzato scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica
dopo averlo spento tramite gli appositi interruttori.
Non staccare il cavo di alimentazione tirandolo, ma
estrarre la spina dalla presa.
•Se si utilizza un cavo di prolunga, la massima
potenza del cavo ammessa deve corrispondere alla
potenza dell’apparecchio. Posizionare il cavo di
prolunga in modo da non costituire intralcio e ostacolo
al passaggio.
•In caso si verifichi un guasto o un malfunzionamento,
spegnere immediatamente l'apparecchio e non
tentare mai di smontarlo, ma rivolgersi all’assistenza
(vedi pag. 2).
•Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio sia sempre spento e
scollegato dalla rete elettrica prima di procedere alle
operazioni di preparazione, pulizia e manutenzione.
FERRO DA STIRO
•Pericolo di scottatura! Durante il funzionamento e
fino a al suo completo raffreddamento il ferro da stiro
deve essere impugnato esclusivamente tramite il suo
manico.
•Pericolo di scottatura! Non toccare con le mani il
getto di vapore e non dirigerlo verso persone, animali,
parti elettriche dell’ambiente e dell’apparecchiatura.
CALDAIA
•Utilizzare acqua normale di rubinetto possibilmente
calda senza altri liquidi. NON UTILIZZARE ACQUA
DISTILLATA, DOLCIFICATA o PROFUMATA.
•Il riempimento/svuotamento della caldaia deve essere
fatto con l’apparecchio freddo, spento e scollegato
dalla rete elettrica.
•Versare l’acqua lentamente nella caldaia per evitare
che il calcare depositato sul fondo si stacchi e vada a
creare delle otturazioni.
•Prima di accendere l’apparecchio assicurarsi che il
tappo di sicurezza sia correttamente avvitato; in modo
da evitare fughe di vapore.
•Quando l’apparecchio è in funzione non forzare
l'apertura del tappo di sicurezza e al termine del suo
impiego attendere il raffreddamento della caldaia
prima di procedere alla sua apertura.
•Nel caso in cui si debba procedere ad un nuovo
riempimento della caldaia procedere con attenzione
tenendo lontano il viso, perché, alcune gocce d'acqua
al contatto con la caldaia ancora calda, possono
evaporare e formare uno spruzzo di vapore.

•Per svuotare la caldaia NON CAPOVOLGERE
l’apparecchio ma inclinarlo solo dal lato del tappo
della caldaia per evitare che eventuali residui di
calcare vadano ad otturare l’elettrovalvola.
USO PREVISTO
•Utilizzare il generatore di vapore solo come
indicato in questo manuale di istruzione.
•Ogni utilizzo difforme dalle presenti avvertenze
invaliderà la garanzia.
•Si declina ogni responsabilità in caso di incidenti
derivanti da un utilizzo improprio di questo
apparecchio non conforme a quanto descritto.
INSTALLAZIONE
Prima di qualsiasi operazione leggere attentamente
le “Avvertenze di sicurezza”.
DISIMBALLAGGIO E UBICAZIONE
Procedere nel seguente modo:
a) Estrarre dallo scatolone la macchina e gli accessori.
b) Sistemare l’apparecchio in luogo adeguato.
c) Procedere al montaggio degli accessori in dotazione
(vedi “Installazione - Accessori”).
ACCESSORI
Per l’utilizzo degli accessori in dotazione procedere nel
seguente modo:
Inserire il braccio reggi cavi 10 in uno dei due appositi
fori di alloggiamento 9a seconda della soluzione che
si vuole ottenere per l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio lato
destro o lato sinistro.
Sistemare il tubo vapore e il cavo di alimentazione 14
tra caldaia e ferro da stiro nella propria sede del
braccio reggi cavi 10.
Utilizzare l’imbuto 19 per versare l’acqua nella
caldaia.
Utilizzare l’asta graduata 20 per misurare l’acqua
contenuta all’interno della caldaia 1(vedi “Utilizzo –
Preparazione”).
Utilizzare la soletta in teflon 21 o 22 per una stiratura
“antilucido”.
UTILIZZO
Prima dell’utilizzo leggere attentamente le
“Avvertenze di sicurezza”.
PREPARAZIONE
Riempire la caldaia procedendo nel seguente modo:
a) Svitare il tappo di sicurezza 2.
b) Riempire la caldaia 1utilizzando l’imbuto in
dotazione 19.
c) Riavvitare il tappo di sicurezza 2verificando che sia
correttamente chiuso.
La capacità della caldaia dipende dal modello, (vedi
“Dati tecnici”).
E’ possibile stirare anche senza riempire
completamente di acqua la caldaia, si ha così una
più veloce e pronta stiratura a vapore (1 litro = 1,5
/ 2 h di stiro - 1,5 litri = 2 / 2,5 h di stiro).
Per misurare l’acqua contenuta all’interno della caldaia
1utilizzare l’apposita “ASTA CONTROLLO LIVELLO
ACQUA” 20, procedere nel seguente modo:
a) Introdurre l’asta 20 nelle caldaia 1fino a toccare il
fondo.
b) Tappare l’estremità superiore ed estrarla
mantenendola in posizione verticale.
c) Procedere alla lettura del livello dell’acqua sulla la
scala graduata.
d) Riposizionare l’asta 20 all’interno della caldaia 1e
rilasciare l’acqua intrappolata al suo interno liberando
l’estremità superiore.
Se mentre si sta stirando finisce l’acqua, per riempire
nuovamente bisognerà attendere 20/25 minuti, tempo
utile alla caldaia per il suo raffreddamento (vedi
“Avvertenze di sicurezza – Caldaia”), procedere al suo
riempimento ed infine riaccendere l’apparecchio (vedi
“Utilizzo – Accensione apparecchio”).
ACCENSIONE APPARECCHIO
Collegare il cavo di alimentazione 8alla rete elettrica,
quindi procedere nel seguente modo:
a) Accendere l’interruttore generale della caldaia 5(solo
per stiratura a vapore).
b) Inserire l’interruttore d’accensione ferro 6.
FUNZIONAMENTO DELLA CALDAIA
Una volta acceso l’apparecchio (vedi “Utilizzo –
Accensione apparecchio”), attendere che la caldaia
vada in temperatura, la spia centrale del pronto vapore
7si accende ed è possibile procedere alla stiratura con
vapore.
Durante la stiratura la spia 7si accende e si spegne a
seconda della condizioni della caldaia che si regola
autonomamente per restare in temperatura.
Se la spia 7rimane sempre accesa e non c’è più
fuoriuscita di vapore dal ferro ciò indica la mancanza di
acqua nella caldaia. Procedere al riempimento della
stessa (vedi “Utilizzo – Preparazione”).
E’ possibile regolare la quantità di vapore agendo sulla
manopola 4posta sull’elettrovalvola 3; per aumentare il
vapore aprire la valvola facendola ruotare in senso
antiorario, in caso contrario ruotare la stessa in senso
orario per diminuirlo (regolazione non disponibile sui
modelli 1,8/B e 1,8/P). Assicurarsi che durante la
stiratura a vapore non sia mai completamente
chiusa.
FUNZIONAMENTO DEL FERRO DA STIRO
Durante le prime ore di funzionamento del ferro si potrà
avvertire un lieve odore che in seguito scomparirà, ciò è
del tutto normale dovuto alla normalizzazione dei
materiali di costruzione non reca danno all’apparecchio.
La temperatura di stiro deve essere conforme al tessuto
da stirare, prima di procedere controllare sull’etichetta
dello stesso le istruzioni fornite dal produttore.
Per la regolazione della temperatura del ferro da stiro
15 agire sul termostato 16 ruotandolo in senso orario
per aumentare la temperatura e in senso antiorario per
diminuirla.

STIRATURA A SECCO
Procedere nel seguente modo:
a) Regolare la temperatura del ferro per il tessuto da
stirare (vedi “Utilizzo – Funzionamento del ferro da
stiro”).
b) Una volta acceso l’apparecchio (vedi “Utilizzo –
Accensione apparecchio”), attendere 2/3 minuti che il
ferro sia in temperatura, è quindi possibile iniziare la
lavorazione. NON AGIRE SUL PULSANTE DEL
VAPORE 17 in quanto il ferro non è in temperatura e
schiacciando il pulsante del vapore uscirà dell’acqua
che depositandosi formerà del calcare sui fori della
piastra.
STIRATURA A VAPORE
Procedere nel seguente modo:
a) Regolare la temperatura del ferro per il tessuto da
stirare (vedi “Utilizzo – Funzionamento del ferro da
stiro”).
b) Una volta acceso l’apparecchio (vedi “Utilizzo –
Accensione apparecchio”), attendere qualche minuto
(litri 1,8 dai 15 ai 20 minuti, litri 2,5/4 da 25 a 30
minuti) che si accenda la spia centrale del pronto
vapore 7(vedi. “Utilizzo – Funzionamento della
caldaia”).
c) Agire sul pulsante del vapore 17 ad intervalli regolari
fino a quando uscirà il vapore; è quindi possibile
iniziare la lavorazione.
SPAZZOLA VAPORIZZANTE
L’utilizzo della spazzola è indicata per ultimare la
stiratura di particolari, per rinvigorire e spazzolare capi
delicati, come ad esempio il velluto. Seguire le
indicazioni per la stiratura a vapore; la temperatura
non è regolabile. E’ possibile erogare un getto
continuo di vapore bloccando il pulsante vapore.
OPERAZIONI DA COMPIERE AL TERMINE DEL
LAVORO
Procedere nel seguente modo:
alcuni minuti prima del termine del lavoro,
disinserire l’interruttore della caldaia 5e
continuare la stiratura fino a quando si esaurisce il
vapore, quindi spegnere il ferro da stiro 15 tramite
il pulsante 6e scollegare l’apparecchio dalla rete
elettrica 8. Non aprire e non svuotare la caldaia
dell’acqua rimasta al suo interno ad ogni fine
stiratura (vedi “Utilizzo – Preparazione”).
Vi consigliamo di eseguire questi accorgimenti se
volete avere una caldaia che si mantenga a lungo ed
in buono stato e che vi eviti fastidiosi risucchi
d’acqua.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di procedere alle operazioni di pulizia e
manutenzione leggere attentamente “Avvertenze di
sicurezza”.
La pulizia è molto importante per avere un apparecchio
sempre in perfetta efficienza.
La frequenza è indicativa dipende da vari fattori
quali:
- Quantità di lavoro eseguito dalla macchina.
- Durezza dell’acqua, che causa maggiori o minori
depositi di calcare.
- Pulviscolo nell’aria.
- Altre particolari condizioni.
PULIZIA
Procedere alla pulizia di tutte le parti esterne con un
panno morbido e asciutto ogni settimana.
Procedere alla pulizia interna della caldaia ogni 2 mesi:
- Riempire la caldaia 1con acqua.
- Svuotarne il contenuto al fine di eliminare i residui di
calcare.
I modelli 4/B e 4/P sono provvisti di scarico dell’acqua
11, sotto la caldaia stessa, per una facile e migliore
pulizia della caldaia; procedere nel seguente modo:
- Porre una bacinella in posizione stabile in
corrispondenza del tappo di scarico 11 posto sotto la
caldaia.
- Svitare il tappo 11 utilizzando una chiave esagonale
CH12 non in dotazione con l’apparecchio.
- Riempire la caldaia 1con acqua tramite il
bocchettone di scarico e poi svuotarne il contenuto al
fine di eliminare i residui di calcare.
- Chiudere accuratamente lo scarico con l’apposito
tappo 11 servendosi della chiave esagonale CH12
non in dotazione con l’apparecchio.
Procedere alla rimozione del calcare dai fori del vapore
posti sotto la piastra del ferro da stiro / spazzola
vaporizzante 15 ogni 6 mesi utilizzando un utensile
appuntito ma facendo attenzione a non rigarne la
superficie.
Rimuovere la polvere e la “peluria” dei tessuti dalle
setole della spazzola vaporizzante ad ogni utilizzo.
MANUTENZIONE
Controllare periodicamente le varie parti
dell’apparecchio, almeno una volta all’anno; nel caso in
cui risultassero danneggiate/usurate provvedere alla
loro sostituzione, rivolgersi all’assistenza (vedi pag.2).

ACCANTONAMENTO
In caso di accantonamento per lungo periodo,
procedere come segue:
a) Spegnere l’apparecchio tramite gli interruttori 5–6e
scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica 8(vedi “Avvertenze di
sicurezza – Elettriche”).
b) Provvedere alla pulizia dell’apparecchio (vedi “Pulizia
e manutenzione - Pulizia”).
c) Richiudere la caldaia 1con il tappo di sicurezza 2
solo quando risulti asciutta al suo interno.
d) Sistemare l’apparecchio preferibilmente in un
contenitore e riporlo in luogo idoneo, asciutto e sicuro
(vedi “Avvertenze di sicurezza”).
SMALTIMENTO
Ai sensi dell’articolo 13 del decreto
Legislativo 25 luglio 2005, n° 151 di
“Attuazione delle Direttive 2002/95/CE,
2002/96/CE e 2003/108/CE, relative alla
riduzione dell’uso di sostanze pericolose nelle
apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche, nonché allo
smaltimento dei rifiuti”.
L’etichetta con il contenitore di spazzatura mobile
barrato presente sul prodotto, indica che il prodotto non
deve essere smaltito tramite la convenzionale
procedura di smaltimento dei rifiuti domestici.
Per evitare eventuali danni per l’ambiente e per la
salute umana, il prodotto deve essere separato dagli
altri rifiuti domestici e consegnato al punto di raccolta
designato per il riciclo dei rifiuti elettrici o elettronici.
La raccolta differenziata ed il riciclo degli apparecchi di

WARNINGS
Please read all the operating instructions carefully
before using the appliance for the first time. Keep
this manual for future reference.
GENERAL
•Dispose the packing materials carefully and keep away
from children. Danger of suffocation! Children can
suffocate through the improper use of packaging
materials.
•After unpacking, check the appliance for damage, if
necessary, contact the supplier (see page. 2).
•Do not use the appliance with toxic substances.
•Do not expose the appliance to wind, rain or extreme
temperatures.
•This appliance is not suitable to be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or with no previous experience and
knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
product. Look after the children to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
•This appliance complies with standard safety
regulations. Inspection, repair and technical
maintenance may only be performed by a qualified
specialist (see page 2). Non-compliance invalidates all
claims under the warranty.
SITE
•Always place the appliance on a dry, flat and heat-
resistance surface. It is necessary to keep the unit in
horizontal position during operation. In case of the
appliance being dropped, it is necessary to have it
checked by a qualified service technician (see page.2),
because the internal safety features could be damaged.
•Do not place the appliance near a source of heat (live
element, electric stove…) or inflammable materials
(explosive, ignitable gases…).
•Keep the ventilation slots of the appliance clear.
Danger of overheating!
•Do not place any objects on the appliance and do not
cover it during operation. Danger of fire!
•Caution! The appliance becomes very hot during
operation. Touch only after it has cooled down or use
the boiler handle.
•Iron only on heat resistant surfaces and on surfaces
that allow the steam to escape.
ELECTRICAL
•Before connecting the appliance, make sure that
the mains voltage and the frequency are the same
as indicated on the technical specifications and
that the electrical socket is equipped by earth
connection. The electric plant must be conforming
to the laws in force.
•Do not put the appliance, the cable or the plugs in
water or other liquids.
•Do not place the electrical cable over sharp edges or
close to hot surfaces or objects; do not allow the
electrical cable to be twisted, crushed or stretched,
because the electrical cable can be damaged.
•Do not use the appliance if the electrical cable or other
important parts are damaged. If you have to replace
some parts, please contact the qualified and authorised
support centre (see page. 2).
•Do not use the appliance near sinks, bathtubs, showers
or containers full of water. Never touch the appliance
with wet hands or feet when plug is connected. Do not
use the appliance when barefoot.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended. When not in
use, turn the applince off. Do not pull the electrical
cable out of the socket, but grasp the plug itself.
•If you use an extension cable, be sure that the cable is
suitable for maximum power of the applliance. Place
the extension cable in such a way as to prevent anyone
from tripping over it or pulling on it .
•In case of troubleshooting or malfunction, immediately,
turn off the appliance and do not try to disassemble it,
but contact the an authorised support centre (see
page.2).
•Always make sure the appliance is switched off and
unplugged before performing the preparations for use,
cleaning or maintenance work.
IRON
•Danger of burns! During the operation and until it has
cooled down the iron must be moved only by using the
handle.
•Danger of burns! Do not put your hands inside the jet
of steam and do not direct it at people, animals,
electrical plant of the surrounding area or the
appliance.
BOILER
•Use fresh water, which may be warm without other
liquids introduced. DO NOT USE PURIFIED,
SWEETENED OR PERFUMED WATER.
•Each time you drain or fill the boiler, switch off and
disconnect the appliance from the mains.
•Slowly filling the boiler avoids the limestone deposited
on the boiler detaching which may lead to blockages.
•Make sure that safety cap is correctly screwed on
before turning on the appliance; otherwise hot steam
may escape from around the cap.
•Do not open the boiler cap when the appliance is
working or until the boiler has cooled down.
•If you have to refill the boiler again, please be careful
and keep away from the boiler, because drops of water
in contact with the warm boiler can still evaporate and
spray steam.
•DO NOT TURN THE APPLICANCE UPSIDE-DOWN to
drain the boiler. To drain, tilt it from the side of the
safety cap to avoid possible limescale residue blocking
the solenoid valve.
PROPER USE
•Use the electric steam boiler only in accordance
with the instructions provided in this manual.
•Any improper use of appliance will invalidate the
warranty.

derived from any use of this appliance which does not
comply with the instructions contained in this manual.
INSTALLATION
Before any operation, please read carefully the
“Warnings”.
UNPACKING AND LOCATION
Carry out the following procedure:
a) Take the appliance and accessories out of the box.
b) Place the appliance in suitable place.
c) Assemble the accessories provided (see “Installation -
Accessories”).
ACCESSORIES
Use the provided accessories as follows:
Insert the cable support 10 in one of the holes 9,
according to the preferred use, left or right hand
operation.
Place the steam tube and the electrical cable 14
between the boiler and the iron in its support on the
support cables 10.
Use the funnel 19 to fill the boiler.
Use the water level gauge 20 to measure the water
inside the boiler 1(see “Use – Preparation”).
Use teflon sole 21 or 22 to help prevent shining when
ironing. USE
Before using, please read the “Warnings” section
carefully.
PREPARATION
Fill the boiler as follows:
a) Unscrew the safety cap 2.
b) Fill the boiler 1using the provided funnel 19.
c) Screw the safety cap 2, make sure that it is correctly
closed.
The boiler capacity depends on the model (see
“Technical specifications”).
For a faster and ready steam ironing do not fully fill the
boiler (1 litres = 1,5/2h ironing - 1,5 litres = 2/2,5h
ironing).
Measure the water inside the boiler by means the water
level gauge 20 as follows:
a) Put the water level gauge all the way into the boiler.
b) Place your thumb to totally cover the open end of the
water level gauge and read the level of the water when
the level gauge is removed from the boiler.
c) Put the water level gauge 20 back into the boiler and
release your thumb to release the water trapped inside
the water level gauge.
IF whilst ironing the boiler runs out of water, please wait
20/25 minutes before filling it again, useful time to the
boiler for cooling down (see “Warnings – Boiler”), then it
is possible refill the boiler and switch on the appliance
(see “Use – Turning on the appliance”).
TURNING ON THE APPLIANCE
Connect the electrical cable to the wall socket and carry
out as follows:
a) Turn on the boiler switch 5(only for steam ironing).
b) Turn on the iron switch 6.
BOILER OPERATION
When the appliance has been turned on (see “Use –
Turning on the appliance”), wait until the boiler
temperature is stabilised, the central light for steam is (7)
lit and then is possible to start with ironing with steam.
The central light 7turns on and off during use of the
appliance. This indicates the boiler maintaining a correct
and constant temperature.
If the central light 7stays off and no steam is released
from the iron, this indicates that the boiler has run out of
usable water you you must refill the boiler (see “Use –
Preparation”).
Turn the steam regulation hand wheel 4located on the
solenoid valve 3to control the steam flow volume; use
this control to increase the steam flow by turning it in an
anti-clockwise direction, turning the control in clockwise
direction reduces the steam flow and volume (not
available for 1,8/B and 1,8/P mod.). Make sure that
during the steam ironing it is not completely closed.
IRON OPERATION
A slight smell may occur when first putting the appliance
into operation, this is harmless and stops after a short
time. This is normal and due to the materials of
construction wearing in - it doesn't indicate any damage
to the appliance.
The ironing temperature must conform to the fabric being
ironed, check the manufacturer’s label on the garment.
Set the iron temperature by shifting the hand wheel 16,
increase the temperature by turning in clockwise direction
and in anti-clockwise direction to decrease it
Thermostat symbols explanation:

DRY IRONING
Carry out as follows:
a) Set the iron temperature to the required temperature
for the fabric (see “Use – Iron operation”).
b) When the appliance is turned on (see “Use – Turn on
the appliance”), wait for 2-3 minutes until the iron
temperature stabilises.I After this time, it is possible to
start working. DO NOT USE THE STEAM SWITCH 17
as the iron temperature is not suitable for steam and if
operated water may form and limescale will deposit on
the sole of the iron..
STEAM IRONING
Carry out as follows:
a) Set the iron temperature to the required temperature
for the fabric (see “Use – Iron operation”).
b) When the appliance is turned on (see “Use – Turn on
the appliance”), wait until the steam has built up in the
boiler (litres 1,8 about 15/20 minutes, litres 2,5/4 about
25/30 minutes) until the central light for steam is lit 7
(see “Use – Boiler operation”).
c) Press the steam switch 17 to release the steam from
the iron; it is now possible to start working.

STEAM BRUSH
The brush is suitable to complete the ironing of intricate
items; use it to reinvigorate and brush delicate materials,
for example velvet. Follow the steam ironing instruction;
the temperature is not adjustable. It is possible have
continuous steam from the iron with the steam switch
fixed in the on position.
HOW TO SHUT DOWN THE APPLIANCE
Carry out the following procedure:
A few minutes before the end your work, turn the boiler
switch 5off and continue ironing until the steam finishes,
then turn off the iron switch 6and unplug the appliance 8.
Do not open and do not drain the boiler of water (see
“Use – Preparation”).
We recommend you put into practice these
instructions to ensure longevity of your appliance
and quality ironing results.
CARE OF THE APPLIANCE
Before cleaning or maintenance work, please read
the “Warnings” carefully.
Cleaning is very important to ensure you have an efficient
appliance.
The frequency of maintanence is dependant on several
factors:
- Volume of work performed by the appliance.
- Hardness of the water; hard water can increase the
deposition of limescale.
- Dust or other airborne particles in the working
environment.
- Other particular conditions.
CLEANING
Clean all the external parts with a soft and dry cloth
weekly.
Clean the boiler every 2 months by carrying out the
following procedure:
- Fill the boiler 1with water.
- Drain the boiler completely in order to flush any
limestone deposit.
The 4/B and 4/P mod. are equipped with water discharge
devices 11, underneath the appliance and require the
following procedure to be carried out:
- Put a small basin in a secure position just below the
water discharge pipe fitting 11 which is situated on the
bottom of the appliance.
- Unscrew the cap 11 underneath the appliance using a
hexagonal wrench CH12 not supplied with the
appliance.
- Fill the boiler 1with water from the water discharge
pipe fitting and then drain the boiler in order to flush out
any limescale deposits.
- Screw the cap of the discharge pipe fitting back on 11
carefully by using a hexagonal wrench CH12 not
supplied with the appliance.
Remove the limestone deposit form the steam holes on
the bottom of the iron / brush 15 every 6 months using a
pointed utensil but do not demage its surface.
Remove the dust and the "fluff" from the brush bristles
prior to every use.
MAINTENANCE
Check all the parts of the appliance yearly, if some of
those are damaged or worn out, they must be replaced,
please contact your authorised support centre (see page
2).

c) Screw on the safety cap 2only when is dry inside the
boiler.
d) Put the appliance in a box and store it in a proper, dry
and safe place (see “Warnings”).
DISPOSAL
To the senses of the article 13 of the
Legislative ordinance 25 July 2005, n° 151 of
“Execution of the EU Directive 2002/95/CE,
2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE, referring to the
reduction of the use of dangerous substances in the
electric and electronics appliance, as well as to the
disposal of the waste”.
The label showing the crossed mobile garbage container
on the appliance, points out that the product must not be
disposed through the conventional procedure of disposal
of the domestic waste.
To avoid possible damage to the environment and for
improved human health, the product has to be separated
from the other domestic waste and delivered to the
designated collection point for the recycling of electric or
electronic waste.

The diversified collection and the recycling of rejected
instruments will serve to preserve the natural resources
and to safeguard the environment and the health of the
people. The unauthorized disposal of the product will be
prohibited according to the local laws.

WARRANTY
The warranty for this appliance is for 1 year from the date
of purchase, please retain the invoice as a proof of
purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and
meticulously examined before delivery. In the case of a
warranty claim, please contact your authorised support
centre (see page 2).
The warranty covers only claims for material or
manufacturing defects, the electric parts are excluded.
The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper
handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried

TROUBLESHOOTING
Here below a list of some common troubleshooting problems (with the causes and the possible solutions),
resolvable without the operation of qualified personnel of the assistance.

BOILER
1. Water is sucked back during steam
generation when starting to iron. 1. The temperature is still low.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Lire attentivement et complètement les instructions
avant d’utiliser l’appareil. Garder ce manuel
d’instruction pour consultations.
GENERIQUES
•Detruire le matériel d’emballage ou le garder loin des
enfants. Danger de suffocation! Les enfants peuvent
étouffer à cause d’usage non conforme du matériel
d’emballage.
•Après le déballage de l’appareil, vérifier l’intégrité (Voir
page 2).
•Ne pas utiliser le produit s’il y a des substances
toxiques.
•Ne pas abandonner l’appareil à l’exposition des agents
atmosphériques et températures extrêmes.
•Les personnes (même les enfants) aux capacités
physiques, sensorielles ou mentales restreintes ou
sans l’indispensable expérience et/ou
connaissance sont interdites à l’usage de cet appareil
à moins qu'elles ne soient surveillée ou personne elles
aient donné indications pour l’utilisation de l’appareil
même. Surveiller les enfants pour qu’ils ne jouent pas
avec l’appareil.
•Cet appareil est conforme aux relatives dispositions de
sécurité. Seulement le personnel compétent du
service après-vente (voir page 2) peut entretenir
contrôles, réparations et entretiens techniques.
Autrement le droit pour faire jouer la garantie tombe.
MISE EN PLACE
•Positionner l’appareil sur une surface sèche, plate et
résistante à la chaleur. Pendant le fonctionnement
l’appareil doit rester en position horizontale et en cas
d’une chute accidentelle est indispensable de le faire
vérifier par un technicien, adressez-Vous au service
après vente (voir page 2) pour vérifier que l’appareil est
encore fiable.
•Positionner l’appareil loin d’une source de chaleur
(fourneaux allumés, étuves électriques…) et/ou loin de
matériel inflammable (gaz et/ou combustibles).
•S’assurer que les fentes d’aérage n’ont jamais des
obstructions. Danger de surchauffe!
•Aucun objet ne doit être près de l’appareil et jamais
couvrir l’appareil pendant l’utilisation. Danger
d’incendie!
•Attention! L’appareil se surchauffe. Toucher ou bouger
l’appareil seulement quand il est complètement froid ou
utiliser la poignée qui se trouve au-dessus de la
chaudière.
•Utiliser le fer uniquement sur surfaces indiquées pour
le repassage, qui soient résistantes à la chaleur et qui
labsorbent la vapeur.
ELECTRIQUES
•Avant brancher l’électricité, vérifier que le voltage
et la fréquence du réseau sont les mêmes indiqués
sur les données techniques de l’appareil et que la
prise pourvue de la terre. L’installation électrique
doit être conforme aux règles en vigueur.
•Jamais plonger l’appareil, le câble ou la fiche dans
l’eau ou autres liquides.
•Jamais placer le câble sur des angles vives près des
surfaces ou objets chaudes et s’assurer que le câble
n’a des torsions, bosses ou allongements. Cela peut
causer des dommages au matériel d’isolement du
câble.
•Jamais utiliser l’appareil si le câble ou autres parties
importantes de l’appareil sont endommagés. Le cas
échéant, pour le remplacement adressez-vous au
service après-vente. (voir page 2).
•Jamais utiliser l’appareil près d’éviers, baignoires,
douches ou récipients avec de l’eau. Ne jamais toucher
l’appareil avec les mains ou les pieds humides quand il
est branché à l’électricité. Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil
les pieds nus.
•Jamais laisser l’appareil sans surveillance pendant
l’usage ! Eteindre l’appareil à l’interrupteur e le
débrancher de l’électricité si non utilisé. Ne pas tirer le
cordon mais extraire la fiche.
•La puissance maximum d'un éventuel prolongateur ne
peut qu’être équivalente à la puissance de l’appareil.
Faire attention que prolongateur n’est pas encombre et
obstacle au passage.
•En cas de panne ou mauvais fonctionnement, arrêter
immédiatement l’appareil et n’essayer pas de la
demonter mais s’adresser au service après vente (voir
page 2).
•Etre sur que l’appareil n’est ni allumé ni branché à
l’électricité avant d’entreprendre n’importe quelle action
soit de préparation que de nettoyage ou maintenance.
FER
•Danger de brûlures! Pendant le fonctionnement et
jusqu’au complet refroidissement ne manipuler le fer
que par la poignée.
•Danger de brûlures! Ne jamais passer les mains près
de la vapeur qui sort du fer et ne jamais adresser la
vapeur vers les personnes, animaux, parties
électriques dans le local ou de l’appareil.
CHAUDIERE
•Utiliser l’eau normaledu robinet, si possible chaude et
sans autres liquides. NE PAS UTILISER EAU
DISTILLEE, ADOUCIE OU PARFUMEE.
•Remplir et/ou vidanger la chaudière seulement quand
l’appareil est froid, non allumé et non branché à
l’électricité.
•Verser lentement l’eau dans la chaudière pour éviter de
détacher le calcaire au fond de la chaudière causant
des obstructions.
•Avant d’allumer l’appareil s’assurer que le bouchon de
sécurité est correctement vissé pour éviter fuites de
vapeur.
•Lorsque l’appareil est en fonction ne pas forcer
l’ouverture du bouchon de sécurité: attendre d’avoir
terminé l’emploi de l’appareil et que la chaudière est
froide avant d’ouvrir le bouchon de sécurité.
•Attention si nécessaire remplire de nouveau la
chaudière agir avec précaution : garder loin le visage
car des gouttes d’eau au contact de la chaudière
encore chaude peuvent s’évaporer et causer un jet de
vapeur.

•JAMAIS RENVERSER pour vidanger la chaudière
mais incliner l’appareil du coté du bouchon pour éviter
que des parties de calcaire puissent obstruer
l’électrovanne.
BUT D’UTILISATION
•Utiliser le générateur selon les indications du
présent manuel.
•Quelque utilisation contraire à ces avis de sécurité
annule la garantie.
•On refuse toutes responsabilités en cas d’accidents
causés par un usage impropre de l’appareil, non
conforme aux indications.
INSTALLATION
Avant quelconques opérations lire attentivement les
« Avertissements de sécurité ».
DEBALLAGE ET MISE EN PLACE DE LA
MACHINE
Procéder de la manière suivante:
a) Enlever de l’indupack la machine et se accessoires.
b) Placer la machine dans une place appropriée.
c) Avancer au montage des accessoires équipés (voir
« Installation – Accessoires »).
ACCESSOIRES
Pour l’utilisation des accessoires équipés avancer de la
manière suivante :
Mettre les supports tuyaux 10 dans un des deux trous 9
par rapport à l’utilisation de l’appareil (coté droite ou
gauche).
Placer le tuyau vapeur et le câble d’alimentation 14
entre la chaudière et le fer à repasser dans la place du
bras support tuyaux 10.
Utiliser l’entonnoir 19 pour verser l’eau dans la
chaudière.
Utiliser la tige graduée 20 pour mesurer l’eau à
l’intérieur de la chaudière 1(voir « Utilisation –
Préparation »)
Utiliser la semelle Téflon 21 ou 22 pour un repassage
"anti-lustre". UTILISATION
Avant l’utilisation lire attentivement les «
Avertissements de sécurité ».
PREPARATION
Remplir la chaudière de la manière suivante :
a) Dévisser le bouchon de sécurité 2
b) Remplir la chaudière 1en utilisant l’entonnoir 19
c) Visser le bouchon de sécurité 2et être sûr qu’il soit
bien fermé.
La capacité de la chaudière change en fonction de
différents modèles (voir Données Techniques).
Il est possible de repasser également sans remplir
totalement d’eau la chaudière, en ayant une repassage
plus rapide (1 lts = 1,5/2 h de repassage – 1,5 lts = 2/2,5
h de repassage).
Pour prendre la mesure de l’eau à l’intérieur de la
chaudière 1 utiliser le NIVEAU EAU 20 dans la manière
suivante :
a) Introduire l’indicateur 20 dans la chaudière 1jusqu’au
fond
b) Boucher l’extrémité supérieur et l’enlever en veillant à
le la maintenir en position verticale.
c) Lire le niveau d’eau en utilisant l’échelle graduée.
d) Introduire l’indicateur 20 à l’intérieur de la chaudière 1
et relâcher l’eau en laissant l’extrémité supérieur de la
tige.
Si pendant le repassage l’eau à l’intérieur de la chaudière
s’épuise, attendre 20/25 minutes pour permettre à la
chaudière de se refroidir, puis remplir la chaudière de
nouveau et, à la fin, allumer l’appareil (voir « Utilisation –
Démarrage Appareil »).
DEMARRAGE APPAREIL
Connecter le cordon d’alimentation 8au réseau
électrique, avancer dans la manière suivante :
a) Allumer l’interrupteur général de la chaudière 5(pour
repassage avec vapeur, seulement)
b) Enclancher l’interrupteur d’allumage fer 6.
FONCTIONNEMENT DE LA CHAUDIERE
Lorsque l’appareil est allumé (voir « Utilisation –
Démarrage appareil ») attendre que la chaudière est en
température, la lumière centrale vapeur 7 s’allume; à ce
moment on peut procéder au repassage avec vapeur.
Pendant le repassage la lumière 7
s’allume et s’arrête
selon l’utilisation de la chaudière qui se règle
indépendamment pour rester en température.
Si la lumière 7reste toujours allumée et qu’il n’y a plus de
sortie de vapeur de fer, cela signifie que la chaudière
manque d’eau.
Remplir la chaudière (« voir UTILISATION –
PREPARATION »).
Il est possible de régler la quantité de la vapeur en
utilisant le volant 4sur l’électrovanne 3; pour augmenter
la vapeur ouvrir la vanne en le tournant en sens anti-
horaire, dans le cas contraire tourner la vanne en sens
horaire pour réduire (réglage pas disponible pour les
modèles 1,8/B et 1,8/P). Vérifier que pendant le
repassage à vapeur le volant n’est jamais totalement
serre.
FONCTIONNEMENT DU FER A REPASSER
Pendant les premières heures du fonctionnement du fer
on pourra remarquer une légere odeur qui ensuite
disparaîtra. Cela est parfaitement normal et est du à la
normalisation des matériels de construction qui n’apporte
aucun dommage à l’appareil.
La température du fer doit être conforme au tissu à
repasser. Avant de procéder il faut vérifier sur l’étiquette
du tissu les instructions fournies par le fabricant.
Pour le réglage de la température du fer 15 il faut agir sur
le thermostat 16 en le tournant dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre pour augmenter la température et en sens
contraire pour la réduire.
Légende des symboles du thermostat:

REPASSAGE SANS VAPEUR
Avancer de la manière suivante :
a) Régler la température du fer selon le tissu à repasser
(voir « Utilisation - Fonctionnement du fer à
repasser »)
b) Lorsque l’appareil est allumé (voir « Utilisation –
Démarrage appareil ») attendre 2/3 minutes pour
permettre au fer d’atteindre la température . NE
POUSSER PAS LE BOUTON VAPEUR 17 parce que
le fer n’ayant pas la température pourra laisser de
l’eau qui se dépose sur les trous de la plaque formant
du calcaire.
REPASSAGE AVEC VAPEUR
Avancer dans la manière suivante :
a) Régler la température du fer selon le tissu à repasser
(voir « Utilisation - Fonctionnement du fer à
repasser »)
b) Lorsque l’appareil est allumé (voir « Utilisation –
Démarrage appareil ») attendre quelques minutes
(pour 1,8 lts de 15 jusqu’à 20 minutes, pour 2,5/4 lts
de 25 jusqu’à 30 minutes) pour permettre à la lumière
centrale vapeur 7 (voir « Utilisation – Fonctionnement
de la chaudière»)
c) Allumer l’interrupteur de la vapeur 17 aux intervalles
réguliers jusqu’à la sortie de la vapeur ; dans ce
moment on peut commercer à repasser.
BROSSE VAPORISANTE
L’utilisation de la brosse est conseillée pour des
retouches finales, pour renouveler et brosser des
vêtements délicats, pour exemple le velours. Suivre les
indications pour le repassage à vapeur ; la température
n’est pas réglable. Garder le poussoir appuyé pour
obtenir un jet de vapeur permanent.
OPERATIONS A EFFECTUER A LA FIN DU
TRAVAIL
Avancer de la manière suivante :
Quelques minutes avant de terminer le travail,
débrancher l’interrupteur de la chaudière 5et
continuer le travail jusqu’à ce que la vapeur
s’épuise ; par la suite arrêter le fer 15 par le bouton
6et enfin débrancher l’appareil du réseau
électrique 8. Ne pas ouvrir et ne pas vidanger l’eau qui
reste à l’intérieur de la chaudière après chaque cycle de
repassage (voir « Utilisation – Préparation»)
Nous Vous conseillons d’exécuter les
opérations indiquées, si Vous désirez avoir une
chaudière qui se maintient pour longtemps en
bonnes conditions, et éviter des remous d’eau
fastidieux.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Avant de procéder aux opérations de nettoyage et
manutention il faut lire les « Avertissements de
Sécurité ».
Le nettoyage est très important pour avoir un appareil qui
puisse marcher toujours parfaitement.
La fréquence est indicative et elle dépend de différentes
facteurs comme :
- Quantité du travail effectué par l’appareil
- Dureté de l’eau, qui causeun dépôt de calcaire
variable.
- Poussières atmosphériques
- Autres particulières conditions.
NETTOYAGE
Effectuer le nettoyage de toutes les parties externes en
utilisant un linge doux et sec chaque semaine.
Effectuer le nettoyage intérieur de la chaudière tous les 2
mois.
- Remplir la chaudière 1avec de l’eau
- Vider le contenu dans le but d’éliminer les résidus de
calcaire.
Dans la partie inférieur des modèles 4/B et 4/P il y a la
vidange de l’eau 11, pour un meilleur et plus facile
nettoyage de la chaudière. Procéder comme suit :
- Positionner un réservoir en position fixe en
correspondance du bouchon de vidange 11 qui se
trouve sous la chaudière.
- Dévisser le bouchon 11 en utilisant une clef
hexagonale CH12 qui n’est pas fourni avec
l’appareil.
- Remplir la chaudière 1avec de l’eau en utilisant un
tuyau d’écoulement et après vider le contenu dans le
but d’éliminer les résidus de calcaire.
- Fermer soigneusement la vidange par le bouchon 11
en utilisant une clef hexagonale CH12 qui n’est pas
fourni avec l’appareil.
Effectuer l’élimination du calcaire qui s’est déposé dans
les trous de vapeur qui se trouvent sous la plaque du fer
à repasser / brosse vaporisante 15 tous le 6 mois en
utilisant un outil pointu mais en faisant attention à ne pas
rayer la surface.
Enlever la poussière et la bourre du tissu de brosse
vaporisante à chaque usage.
ENTRETIEN
Vérifier périodiquement toutes les parties de l’appareil
(une fois par an au moins). Pour leur substitution en cas
d’usure, ou bien endommagement, il faut s’adresser au
service assistance (voir page 2).
