CHECKAT DELIVERY
1) Thepackingofdamages.
2) The deliveredicemachinewith thepurchase
order.
3) Theicemachine
isnotdamagedduringtransponandno parts
are
missing.
In caseof damagesor missingparts,repod immediatelyto the deliveringcarrier or your supplier.
INSTALLATION PROCEDUR.E
Removethe icemachinefrom itspackingandplace
it in thedesired
position,ensuringthat it is perfectly
horizontal
(feetare
adjustable)andwell awayfrom heatsources.
Also the ambientmust beventilated.
Air inletsandoutletsshouldbekept atleast20 cm from walls.
Ambient temperaturemust not be lower than5oC or higher than35oC for a satisfactory
yield.
Power
supplymustbe230V single phase
- (800/f000/1600/2500 400V threephaseN). The maximum voltagevariation permitted
is+67o. It is advisable
to protectthemain switch by meansof afuse.
5) An earthterminal is essential.
6) Drink water supply pressure
must not be lessthan I bar (kPa) and not higher than 6 bar (600 kPa). Watertemperature
must be
between5oCand20'C for a satisfactorvvield.

Ifthedrainisfarfromtheicemachineusealargerdiameterhose,ensuringthat
it isnot twisted or kinked at anypoint. Note, useanopenventeddrain.
ATTENTION: HIGH TEMPERATURES,WATEROR/AND AMBIENI AND V/ATERWITH HIGH CONTENCE OF MINERALS
CAN CAUSE WET ICE.
STARTING UP
After checkingall thepreviouspoints:
l) Turnthewatersupplytap
on.
2) Placetheplug in thepower
socket
with main switch.If theunit is only equippedwith anelectricalcord for power
supply,the
authorizedservicecompanymust connectthe leadwires to an electricalplug that corresponds
to the local electricalrequirements
or to a separate two poles disconnectswitch with opening between
the contactsof minimum 3 millimeters, very closeto the ice
machineto bereached
easilyandpromptly.
3) Turnon themain switch.Theself-conkined machines
startimmediatelyandthemodularmachines
will startonly afterapproximately
4 minutes(temporizedby the electronicboard).
4) After stoppingthemachineoperationby themain switch, wait at least5 minutesbeforere-startingit again.
OPERATION
The cycle startswith the production phase,
the compressor,the electric fan, the motor, the gearbox, the endless
screwandthe water
inlet are in operation.The machine is now in the production phase.
The water supplied to the machine passes
through the float tank
(fixing the water level) and floods the inside ofthe evaporatorwhere it is transformed into ice. The endlessscrew conveysthe ice to
theupper
partwhereit istaken
intothestoragebin.Themachineisproducing
continouslyuntil thestoragebin isfilled up with ice.
Now the self-contained
machinestopsby thebin thermostat
automatically.After ice is takenout themachinestartswith theproduction
cycle againby thebin thermostat
automatically.The modular machinestopsandstartsby the electric-photocells fixed in the ice outlet.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING BY THE USER - DISCONNECTING POWER AND WATER SI PPLY.
I) Cleanthe icestorage
bin, using a detergentdiluted in warm waterandrinseit with warm water.
2) Clean the bodywork with asoft dampcloth with aspecific product.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE (EVERY 6 MONTHS) -AUTHORIZED SERVICE ONLY
l) Cleanthesolenoid
valve
filter.
2) Cleanthecondenserwins with asoft brusheachmonth.
3) Cleanthe iceproduction systemandthe storagebin.
4) In the eventoflengthy idle periodscleanall thepartsofthe ice machine.
