
Lock Positions
The key lock is a 4 position lock: The left position is the
manual open which means turning the key to this position
will open the drawer. The middle is the Electronically on
line position which means the drawer is controlled by the
printer. The right position is locked open,/locked closed.
Locked open means the drawer can’t be closed without a
key. Locked closed means the drawer can’t be opened with
out a key.

Installation
If you have purchased mounting brackets for your cash drawer, refer to the instructions included with the mounting
brackets for proper installation procedures.
Drawer Removal
Open the cash drawer and remove the plastic coin and bill tray. Pull the drawer out until it stops, tip the front edge
of the drawer up and pull the drawer out at an inclined angle.
Warning: Do not use the till edge of the cash drawer to break open coin rolls as this may damage the cash drawer.
Connection to Receipt Printer
The cash drawer cable comes with a sticker on one of the ends. Plug this end into the printer. This sticker also tells
you which printer emulation it is for. To determine which cable your printer requires please refer to pos-x.com.
