Three people are recommended for the installation ofthisfountain!
-WINTERCARE-
Fountainbowls/topsandotherfountaincomponents,whichcollect water, shouldnotbeleftoutsideinthewinter since anycomponent,
whichfillswithwater andfreezesmaycrack.Likewise, componentssuchaspedestals,whichremaininabasin,filledwithwater,
whichthenfreezes,mayalsocrackor crumble. Ideally, therefore, afountainshouldalwaysbestoredindoorsor inadryprotected
place suchasacoveredporchawayfromtheelements. However, ifafountainmustbeleftoutside:
(1) Removepump, rubber stoppers, drainpipes, finials,andother smallcomponentsfor storageindoors. Note that stoppersor
drainpipesareremovedtoallowdrainageintheeventwater accumulatesinanybasin.
(2) Raisefountainbasefromgroundwithwood stripssothat basewill notfreeze tothegroundsurface.
(3) Cover or wrapthefountainwithburlapor other absorbentmaterial (oldblanket or towel) andthencover securelywith
plastic,making surethat water will notaccumulate inthebasinor other fountaincomponentandfreeze;
(4) Checkfountainperiodicallytoinsurethat plastic issecureandwater isnotaccumulating inanyfountaincomponent.
-GENERALFOUNTAINTIPS-
Install fountainsonalevel surface. Youwill needaproperlygrounded110-volt (AConly) GFCI protectedreceptaclenear the
fountainfor your pump. All pumpsaresubmersible andmustbecompletelyunderwater to
functionproperly. Testall pumpsandadjusttofull outputprior toassembly. Itisnot
recommendedthat fountainsbeplaceddirectlyongrass or dirt. Positionthechannel
opening at thebaseofeachfountaintoward theelectrical outlet tobeusedsince thepump
cord willbethreadedthroughthisopening.

1. Assemblethepumpand tubing
a. Place ahoseclampover the1/2”non-kink tubing
without theclear tubing atthebottomoftheT-
connector.
b. NOTE:All pumps come with1 adapter already
insertedinto thepumpand 2 adapters securedto the
power cord.
i. Thisfountainuses themediumadapter
provided.
c. Securethetubing tothepumpbytighteningthe
hoseclamp.
d. Place thestopper aroundthepumpcord
approximately6”fromthepump.
2. Feedthepumpcordthrough theholeandchannelinthe
basin(FT-155C).
3. FIRMLY pressthestopper intotheholeevenly.
a. Note:Usingthehandleofascrewdriveror
hammer works best topressthestopper in place.
4. Place thegalvanizedpipesintotheholesatthetop2
backcornersofthebasin.
5. Carefullyliftthewater feature (FT-155A)andplace it
downontothebasinsothatthegalvanizedpipegoes
into theholesatthebottomofthewater feature.
6. InsertthetwoCPVCpipesthatare alreadyon the
preassembledtubinginto thetwoCPVCcouplingsat
thebottomofthewater feature.
7. Place thepumpcover(FT-155B) intoposition.
8. Fillthebasin.
