During use and storage, the appliance must be kept at a safe distance from heat
sources (open flame, heaters, stoves, etc.) or any flammable and/or potentially
explosive substances.
If you are using the appliance for the first time, you should:

functioning.

Plug and unplug the power cable with dry hands and hold it firmly. Always unplug
the power cable to avoid overheating and avoid stretching it (DO NOT pull it, tug it
or use it to drag the appliance to which is connected). Before unplugging the
appliance, switch it off, using the proper command on the control panel.
During operation, DO NOT touch the appliance with wet body parts, and it is
recommended to have between you and the standing surface, an isolating element
(for example, wearing shoes with rubber soles).
DO NOT soak the appliance in water or other liquids, wash it under the tap, or let
any liquid flow into the internal casing of the appliance to prevent electric shock.
In case of accidental fall in water, DO NOT try to take it out, but first of all unplug
immediately the power cable from the socket.
Place the appliance at a proper distance from objects or surrounding walls making
sure that its functioning will not cause accidental damages. There should be at least
10 cm of free space from the back, left & right sides, and the top of the pot or other
utensil placed on the ceramic cooker.
Clean the ceramic cooker with a dish-washing agent and a damp cloth, and
immediately wipe dry.
Before you switch ON the cooker, add oil, grease or water into the pot first.
Not doing this may lead to burning or scarring of the pot!
Press the Power button after you finish cooking. DO NOT switch the appliance off.
The fan will continue to work until the unit cools down.
cover the appliance during functioning;
obstruct totally nor partially the air inlet & outlet – ensure that the appliance is
least 10 cm from objects or surrounding walls making sure that its functioning
will not cause accidental damages;
insert objects or body parts inside the protection cover of the appliance;
use the appliance near curtains or textiles;
move the appliance while the pot or pan is still on it;
heat an empty pot or pan / overheat an empty pot or pan;
place metallic objects such as knives, forks spoons, lids, etc. or aluminium foil on
the ceramic plate;
place a sheet of paper on the ceramic plate as the paper may get burned and a
fire may start as a result;
touch the crystal plate (top plate) of the appliance when in operation or just after
switching it off as it will still be very hot and may cause scalding;
leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.
