Sort your clothes according to the nature of the fabrics:
• Chemical fibre / synthetic
•• Natural fibre / silk / wool
••• Natural fibre / cotton / linen
Heat setting markings on the adjustable control dial of this iron matches those of
the International Textile Care Labelling Code Garments (e.g. Nylon, Acetates,
Acrilan, Courtelle, Orlon, Triacetates, Tricel) marked with 1 dot recommendation
should be ironed at the lower temperature range. Garments (e.g. Wool, Polyester
mixtures, Polyester / Cotton, Linen, Cotton, Rayon, Rayon mixtures, Rayon / Linen)
which are suitable for ironing at 2 & 3 dot settings usually require steam pressing.
Select the lowest temperature first with the Temperature regulating dial.
Position the iron vertically 90° with its base resting on a horizontal, stable and
heat-resistant surface.
Plug the socket attached to the power cable to the electric mains and switch it ON.
The Indicator light comes on. The process of preheating the iron has commenced.
Wait for the Indicator light to go off, indicating that the selected temperature has
been reached and you can start ironing fabrics which require low temperature
ironing.
When you are ready to proceed with fabrics which require progressively higher
temperatures, select a higher temperature setting, position the iron vertically 90°
(step 3). The Indicator light comes on. Wait for the Indicator light to go off, and
you can start ironing fabrics which require higher temperature ironing.
Always iron clothes which require lower temperatures first, and work your way to
higher temperatures. Never the other way around as thermall y-sensitive fabrics
will be ruined by higher temperatures. In addition, the iron gets hot faster than it
cools.
HOW TO USE

How to use the spray
1.
2.
3.
4.
During ironing, the spray feature is useful in removing stubborn wrinkles or where
extra dampness prior to ironing is needed.
Before spraying water, check the label on each fabric as certain fabrics may be
stained due to the presence of water which is then converted into steam by the iron.
Simply pump the Spray button when a spray is needed.
This feature can be used both with steam ironing or dry ironing.

heat-resistant surface.
Plug the socket attached to the power cable to the electric mains and switch it ON.
The process of preheating the iron has commenced.

Switch off the iron and unplug the socket from the electric mains.
Open the Water filler cover and pour out the remaining water after use by inverting
the iron after the iron has cooled. Close the Water filler cover. DO NOT store the iron
with water remaining in the Water tank.
Wait until the iron has cooled down completely before storing the appliance
vertically with its base resting on a horizontal and stable surface.
Remember to always protect the Soleplate from scratches, corrosions and stains.
How to use the burst of steam
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
During ironing, the burst of steam feature provides additional steam for removing
stubborn wrinkles.
Before spraying steam, check the label on each fabric as certain fabrics may be
stained due to the presence of steam.
Simply pump the Burst steam button several times to prime the surge system
before pressing the button when a burst of steam is needed.
Wait a few seconds, then repeat step 3 for more steam. For optimal steam, do not
apply more than three successive times after the indicator light goes off.
This feature can be used both with steam ironing or dry ironing.

1.
2.
3.
4.
Switch off the iron and unplug the socket from the electric mains when not in use
and before filling, emptying and cleaning the iron.
Wait until the iron has cooled down completely.
Wipe the exterior of the iron using a soft, damp cloth or sponge. Remove stubborn
spots with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. DO NOT use abrasive
scouring pads or powders. Never let steam iron cleaners come into contact with the
working parts of the iron.
Soleplate: Starch and other residues may be easily removed from the Soleplate with
a damp cloth with a vinegar-water solution. To avoid scratching the finishing, never
use a metallic pad to clean the Soleplate, and never place the iron horizontally over
a rough surface. If synthetic fabrics are ironed at too high temperatures, not only is
the fabric usually ruined but the Soleplate is often covered with the melted remains
of the synthetic fabric. The best way to remove synthetic fabric residue from the
Soleplate is to heat the iron and to iron over an old cotton rag repeatedly.

11.
12.
Switch off the iron and unplug the socket from the electric mains.
Set the Steam Regulating knob to the ‘max’ position.
Open the Water filler cover, turn the iron vertically 90° with its base resting on a
horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface (it is preferable that this surface be
covered with an old piece of cloth). Half fill the Water tank with water.
The water level can be observed through the transparent part of the tank.
Plug the socket attached to the power cable to the electric mains and switch it ON.
Once the indicator light goes out, unplug the socket from the electric mains.
Maintaining the iron in the same vertical position, bring the iron over to the sink.
Rotate the iron to a horizontal position, with the iron below the rim of the sink.
Press down the Self-clean button and don’t let go. As boiling water and steam are
released from the holes in the Soleplate, move the iron forwards and backwards
until the Water tank is empty.
Release the Self-clean button.
Plug the socket attached to the power cable to the electric mains and switch it ON.
With the Steam Regulating knob at the‘max’ position, as the iron heats up, the
remaining water inside the steam chamber will now vaporise and leave the iron
through the Soleplate.
This self-cleaning process should be conducted once a month or more frequently
depending on usage.
HOW TO CLEAN
In the case where the installed thermostat malfunctions, the power supply will stop
automatically to prevent the steam iron from overheating. In this case, the steam iron
has to be repaired by the service point.
