• Camera
1. Overview
The camera of PowerDolphin has a 132° ultra-wide-angle lens, which can take 12 MP
photos and shoot 4K videos with 30 frames per second. Working with the Vision+ 2 App,
it supports parameter adjusting, image preview, export, etc.
In addition, the camera has an electric joint and a manual joint, which offers access the
camera from both above and below the water surface. It has a field of view ranging from
-150° to +70° (the horizontal position is 0°, and when the camera rotates towards under-
water areas, the angle becomes negative), offering you a shooting angle spanning 220°
and a brand-new visual experience.

7

1. The electric joint can be locked automatically. Do not rotate it with force.
2. In stormy waves, due to the resistance of water, lifting the manual joint may affect Pow-
erDolphin's sailing stability. Therefore, we recommend that you use it in more stable
waters.
3. Camera SD card port
PowerDolphin comes with a 16G microSD card for you to store media files. You can get
and use the media files in the card by removing it from the camera or view and export
them from the media library in the App.
You can replace the microSD card in PowerDolphin. If you need to replace it, please use a
microSD card of Class 10, UHS-1, or higher specifications, to ensure that you can shoot
HD videos normally.
2. Camera joint control
You can rotate the manual joint upwards to adjust its angle. In underwater mode, you can
adjust the angle of the electric joint by using the left control stick of the remote controller,
or touching and holding the blank space on the image preview screen in the App until it
vibrates, then use your finger to drag it up and down.

• Underwater Mode: The maximum speed is limited so the electric joint camera can be
adjusted for different angles to offer multiple views. These functions are suitable for
low-speed, underwater scenarios.
• Normal Mode: The maximum speed is unlimited. The electric joint camera is set to its
initial position and cannot be adjusted. This function is suitable for high-speed enjoy-
ment and water-surface FPV scenarios.
• Cruise Mode: The cruise control function allows for unlimited maximum speed. The
electric joint camera is set to its initial position and cannot be adjusted.
1. To enter Cruise mode: Hold the throttle stick in a position for 2 seconds and then
release.

You can perform different return functions only when a return point has been
logged successfully. You can check return points from the map in the App. The
image indicates a return point.
PowerDolphin features three auto return functions: smart return, low-battery return, and
return upon disconnection.
1. Return point
Every time you unlock the device, if the GPS signal is good, the current location of the
device will be set as the return point. If the GPS signal is poor, you cannot get the return
point when unlocking the device, and the App will prompt you. In this case, you can
choose to continue to sail or re-unlock your device to update the return point.
2. Smart return
Smart return is a function that can be started two ways:
1)Press and hold the Smart return button on the remote controller;
2)Touch the image in the App and follow the instructions.
You can cancel smart return three different ways:
1)Short press the Smart return button on the remote controller;
2)Move the throttle stick or steering stick again;
3)Touch the image in the App and follow the instructions
When the device starts to return, the remote controller will continue beeping until the
return is canceled or ends.
10
• Auto Return
Please enter Cruise mode in open, obstacle-free waters to prevent PowerDolphin from
hitting obstacles or banks.
2. To exit Cruise mode: Move the throttle stick again to regain speed control.

1. When unlocking your device and updating the return point, select an open area far
away from obstacles or banks to avoid collision.
2. The device will go back to the return point by a straight route, so make sure that the
return route is free of obstacles. If there are many obstacles, please control the device
to return manually.
PowerDolphin features a self-righting function. If PowerDolphin is knocked over during
sailing (and before that the device has been unlocked), the master control unit of Power-
Dolphin will execute the self-righting procedure based on the position of the device. In
this state, the device will not be locked automatically. The single-sided propeller will press
forward for some time and then press backward to execute the self-righting procedure. If
the attempt fails 10 times, the self-righting procedure will stop.
• Self-righting
4. Return upon disconnection
Return upon disconnection is triggered automatically when the device is disconnected
from the control terminal. If the connection between them is not reestablished within 10
seconds, the device will return automatically. If the connection is reestablished when the
device returns, the device will stop returning and wait for instructions, and the App will ask
you whether to continue to return.
11
3. Low-battery return
Low-battery return is automatically triggered when the device battery is low. The App will
pop up a dialog box asking you whether to execute the return operation. You can make a
choice based on your situation. If you don't make a choice within the specified time, the
device will return automatically. If your device is connected to the remote controller but
not the App, the device will return automatically. You can cancel the return as described
in the smart return section.
When the device starts to return, the remote controller will continue beeping until the
return is canceled or ends.

1. The self-righting procedure is not applicable if the payload system is being used.
2. The self-righting procedure is not applicable if the locked device rolls over when it is
thrown into the water.
3. The self-righting function may be subject to factors, such as water conditions (sea scale,
obstacles in waters, etc.) and blade wear conditions. In these situations, the self-righting
function is not 100% feasible. If self-righting fails, please do it manually.

In order to charge the remote controller, use the provided micro USB cable to connect the
