assembly instructions
Step 1:
Unroll the kite.
Step 2:
Identify and organize struts, tassels, and tail.
(Diagram A.)
Step 3:
Assemble the leading
edge spar. Insert the
nocked struts into the
blank strut. (Diagram B)
Step 4:
Slide the leading edge
spar into the small
opening on one side of
the kite, all the way
through to the other side
of the kite.(Diagram C)
Step 5:
Pull the tensioning line
through the nocked strut
on both sides of the kite to
create a bow. (Diagram D)

Step 6:
Assemble the spine. Insert the two nocked and ferruled struts into the blank strut. (Diagram E)
Step 7:
Slide the spine down the center of the kite putting the strut through the top bridle loop, the spine guide loop and the bridle
loop at the bottom of the kite.

Step 8:
Attach the spine to the kite by inserting the small loops of string at the top and bottom of the kite into the nocks at the top
and bottom of the spine. (Diagram G)

Step 9:
Attach Tassels. Use the clip at the top of the tassel and attach it to the tail connection tab located below the leading edge on
both sides of the kite.

Step 10:
Attach the tail to the kite. Tie a knot in the tail’s connection loop. Next, make a lark’s head knot (Diagram I) with the tail
connection string on the end of the kite.to attach the tail to the kite.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTIONS:
-Attach flying line to Tow Loop.
-Have a friend stand about 75 ft. downwind from you and hold the kite with its Leading Edge pointed towards the sky.
-As the wind catches the kite, signal your friend to release it while you bring in the line with long steady pulls.
-Slowly let out more line as the kite flies upward. RECOMMENDED LINE: 90 LB TEST LINE

thumb and finger.
Rotate wrist so
fingers will point
away.
Grab bottom lines
and pull through
to create a loop.
Tie a knot
creating a loop.
Place Larks Head Knot
around Toggle and
tighten Larks Head.
