Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference,
as it contains important information.
Requires four AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (included) for operation.
Batteries included are for demonstration purposes only.
Battery replacement is required. Only adults should replace batteries.
Tool required: Phillips screwdriver (not included).
This product emits flashing lights at 5 - 30 cycles per seconds.
Toy is surface washable. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse.
This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Do not take apart.
Battery
Replacement
• For longer life, use alkaline batteries.
• Loosen the screw in each battery door and
remove each door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries and properly
dispose of them.
• Insert two AA (LR6) alkaline batteries in
each battery compartment.
• Replace each battery compartment door and
tighten each screw.
• If this toy begins to operate erratically, you
may need to reset the electronics. Slide the
power switch off and back on.
• When sounds/lights/movement become
faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to replace
the batteries.

disposing of this product with
household waste (2002/96/EC).

recycling advice and facilities.
Battery Safety
Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may
leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn
injury or ruin your product. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries
of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of
non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries
from the product. Dispose of batteries safely.
Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The
batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent
type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the
product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.
Battery Doors
Dancing Action, Lights & Sounds!
• Slide the power/volume switch to ON with
low volume , ON with high volume
or OFF .
• Press the Dance & Move button to hear
fun songs and watch dancing lights as
BeatBo dances.
• Press the Learning & Games button to
learn numbers, ABCs and colors, or play
a game while you dance with BeatBo!
• Press the Record & Remix button to
record a phrase! When BeatBo’s tummy turns
red say a phrase and then listen to hear your
phrase play in a song!
• Press BeatBo’s tummy to hear fun phrases
and even more songs.
Hints:
• The record function allows you to record
a phrase approximately three seconds
in length.
• Only the last phrase recorded will play back
in the songs.
