IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs or Temperature-Controlling
Plug in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacture may
cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot
liquids.
12. Always attach Temperature-Controlling plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. Always preheat for 6 minutes.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTION
A short power supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cords is available and may be used if
care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of
extension cord should be at least as great as line electrical rating of the appliance. If the
appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding 3-wire cord. The
extension cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

This device is only for household use and not suitable for gastronomy use. Carefully read the
instruction manual first and keep it in a safe place.
Safety information
Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the
rating plate.
Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged. Always check before using the
appliance! Keep children away from the device. Danger of burn! Persons with reduced
experience or insufficient knowledge should not use the appliance, except a person in charge
of their safety take care or supervice, how the appliance is used.
After using the appliance or if the appliance malfunctions, always pull out the plug.
Never pull at the cord set. Do not chafe it over edges or squeeze it.
Keep the power supply cord away from hot parts.
Never leave the appliance unattended when operating.
Do not put anything on the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance outdoors or in a damp area.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged (for example if it felt down).
The manufacturer is not liable for damage occurred by using the apliance in another
way than described or if a mistake in operating has been made.
The appliance becomes very hot. Do not move the appliance until it has cooled down!
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing a damaged cord, should only be carried
out by customer service.
The appliance is not suitable to be used with an extenal timer or a separate remote
control.
Attention! Housing get hot, Risk of burns! Don´t place the device on a sensitive surface
(c.g. painted furniture) and keep distance of at least 70 cm to burnable materials (c.g. curtains).
Working place:
Important:
Never place this device on or next to hot surfaces (e.g. hot stoves). Only use it on a even,
stable and a heat resisting surface. It is important that no inflammable items are near to the
device.
Safety requirements during usage:
- Only use the appliance at a safety plug socket. This should be connected to a earth leakage
circuit breaker
- Use the appliance only when it is assembled.
- Do not use the grill plate outside of the appliance and never immerse into water.
- Never leave the appliance outdoors after usage.
- Fat and other grill food can spatter and drop. Therefore do not place the appliance not
directly on sensitive surfaces, e.g. Polished table tops, parquet or carpet.

- When using the appliance with stand, be sure that the stand is standing stable,
because the danger of burns when it falls
- Be sure that the cable is placed that way that it cannot be pulled or touched during usage.
- Always unplug the appliance and cool it down before the device is carried away. Never
carry it when it is hot.
- Unplug the appliance after each usage or before cleaning.
- Always place the oil tray bellow the grill plate.
Thermostat:
With the thermostat the temperature of the grill plate can be adjusted. The
Numbers on the thermostat knob have following meaning:
1 = thermostat switched on 2 = keeping warm 3 - 4 = grilling with low temperature ( for fish etc.)
4 = grilling on medium temperature (for chicken etc.) 5 = grilling on max. temperature
Control Lamp:
When the appliance is plugged in and the thermostat is adjusted, the control lamp is shining.
When the temperature is achieved, the lamp goes off.
Grill preparations:
Oil the grill slightly before the usage. This makes it more easy to turn the food. Then heat up
the device for ca 10 min; the thermostat on maximum level. The food should be not frozen
during grilling. Please use the appliance only with the drip tray.
Never cover the appliance with aluminium foil, because the heat cannot get away from the
heating element.
Never cut on the grill surface because the coating can be damaged.
During grilling the bonnet can be placed on the plate or can be hanged at the edge to be used
as a wind shield.
Is the appliance used as a table top model, the cover can only put on the plate.
Careful !:
Steam from the food can emerge when the lid is opened. Danger of burns!

Cleaning and maintainance:
- The device should be cleaned after each use
- Unplug the device
- The device should cool down a little. It can be cleaned easier when it is not that
hot.
- Never immerse the device in water!
- Use a humid cloth with a little bit of detergent to clean it. Resisting dirt should be
covered with some oil, wait for ca 5 min and try to remove it again with a humid cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners. When cleaning the oil tray, be careful, that the liquid in
it is cooled down completely.

Instrucciones importantes de seguridad:
Al usar aparatos eléctricos, debe seguir precauciones de seguridad básicas para reducir el
riesgo de fuego, descarga eléctrica y/o heridas personales.
1. Lea completamente estas instrucciones.
2. No toque las superficies calientes. Use las manijas o botones.
3. Para protegerse contra descargas eléctricas, no sumerja el electrodoméstico, cable,
enchufe o control de temperatura en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
4. Se debe ejercer supervisión cuando el aparato se usa cerca o por niños.
5. Desconecte del tomacorriente cuando no lo esté usando o antes de limpiar. Permita que
se enfríe antes de instalar o desinstalar partes y antes de limpiar el aparato.
6. No opere ningún electrodoméstico con un cable de corriente o enchufe averiado o en mal
estado. Tampoco si el aparato ha sufrido cualquier tipo de daño. Si el cable de corriente o
aparato está averiado, debe ser reparado por una persona calificada o un centro de
servicios.
7. El uso de accesorios no es recomendado por el fabricante. Esto puede ocasionar heridas
personales.
8. No use en exteriores.
9. No deje que el cable de corriente cuelgue sobre el borde de la mesa o mostrador o que
toque una superficie caliente.
10. No ponga el aparato cerca de una hornilla eléctrica o de gas o cerca a un horno caliente.
11. Tenga precaución al mover un electrodoméstico que contenga aceite o líquidos calientes.
12. Siempre instale el control de temperatura antes de conectar el cable de corriente a la
fuente de electricidad. Para desconectar, lleve el control de temperatura a la posición “off”
y hale el enchufe del tomacorriente.
13. No use el aparato para un uso para el cual no está diseñado.
14. Siempre precaliente el aparato por 6 minutos.

Este electrodoméstico es para uso en el hogar únicamente y no es apto para restaurantes. Lea
cuidadosamente el manual de instrucciones antes de usarlo y guárdelo en un lugar seguro.
Información de seguridad
Conecte y opere el aparato de acuerdo a las especificaciones que aparecen en la
etiqueta de calificación eléctrica.
No use si el cable o el electrodoméstico se encuentra averiado. ¡Siempre revise antes

Personas con experiencia reducida o poco conocimiento no deben usar el aparato, excepto
cuando una persona a cargo de su seguridad los supervise mientras se usa el aparato.
Desconecte el enchufe después de usar el aparato o si se presentan daños
Nunca tire el cable. No lo roce con bordes afilados o apriete.
Mantenga el cable de corriente lejos de partes calientes.
Nunca deje el aparato funcionando sin supervisión.
No ponga nada encima del electrodoméstico.
No deje el aparato en el exterior o en una zona húmeda.
Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua.
No opere el aparato si está averiado (por ejemplo si se cae)
El fabricante no es responsable por daños ocurridos cuando se usa el
electrodoméstico para un uso diferente para el cual fue diseñado o si se usa incorrectamente.
El electrodoméstico se calienta mucho. Mueva el aparato únicamente cuando este
frio. Si se encuentra caliente espere hasta que se enfríe.
Para prevenir heridas, las reparaciones del cable de corriente se deben realizar
únicamente por un centro de servicios.
El electrodoméstico no está diseñado para usarse con un temporizador externo o
control remoto.
Atención! El exterior se calienta mucho. ¡Riesgo de quemaduras!. No ponga el aparato
sobre una superficie sensible al calor (ejemplo: muebles pintados) y mantenga una distancia
de por lo menos 70 centímetros de objetos inflamables (ejemplo: cortinas)
Lugar de trabajo:

Nunca ponga este aparato sobre o cerca de superficies calientes (ejemplo: estufa). Use
únicamente sobre una superficie plana, estable y resistente al calor. Es importante que no
haya objetos inflamables cerca del aparato.
Requerimientos de seguridad durante el uso:
- Solo use el aparato en un tomacorriente de seguridad. El circuito eléctrico del tomacorriente
debe estar conectado a tierra.
- Use el aparato cuando esté totalmente ensamblado.
- No use el plato de grill (asar) por fuera del aparato y nunca sumerja en agua.
- Nunca deje el aparato en exteriores después de usarlo.
- La grasa y alimentos asados pueden chisporrotear y gotear. Por lo tanto, no ponga el

aparato sobre superficies sensibles como mesas con acabados, piso de madera o alfombra.
- Al usar el aparato con el soporte, asegúrese que el soporte se encuentre estable pues
se presenta el riesgo de quemaduras si se cae el aparato.
- Asegúrese que el cable se ponga de tal manera que no se pueda halar o tocar durante el
uso.
- Siempre desconecte el aparato y deje que se enfríe antes de moverlo. Nunca cargue el
aparato si está caliente.
- Desconecte el aparato después de cada uso o antes de limpiarlo.
- Siempre ponga la bandeja para grasas debajo del plato de grill (asar)
Termostato:
Se puede ajustar la temperatura del plato de asar con el termostato. Los
números del termostato tienen el siguiente significado:
1 = termostato encendido 2 = mantener caliente 3 - 4 = asando a baja temperatura (para
pescados) 4 = asando a temperatura media (para aves) 5 = asando a la máxima temperatura
Lámpara de control:
Cuando el aparato está conectado y el termostato esta ajustado la luz de control se
enciende. Cuando se alcanza la temperatura deseada, la lámpara se apaga.
Preparación de asados:
Engrase ligeramente antes del uso, esto facilita voltear los alimentos. Precaliente el aparato
por diez minutos con el termostato a la temperatura máxima. Los alimentos no deben estar
congelados en el momento de asarlos. Use el aparato siempre con la bandeja de residuos.
No cubra el aparato con papel de aluminio pues el calor no puede salir de la resistencia.
Nunca corte los alimentos sobre la superficie para asar pues el recubrimiento se puede dañar.
Durante la cocción, la cubierta se puede poner sobre el plato o colgarse en el borde para
bloquear el viento.
Si el aparato se usa en interiores, la cubierta solo se puede poner sobre el plato.
Cuidado
El vapor de los alimentos sale al abrir la tapa. ¡Peligro de quemaduras!

Limpieza y mantenimiento:
- Se debe limpiar el aparato después de cada uso.
- Desconecte el aparato
- Permita que el aparato se enfríe un poco. Es mas fácil limpiar el aparato cuando
no se encuentra tan caliente.
- Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua!
- Use un paño húmedo con un poco de detergente. La suciedad difícil de limpiar se
debe cubrir con aceite, esperar por 5 minutos y limpiar nuevamente con un paño
húmedo. Nunca use limpiadores abrasivos. Al limpiar la bandeja de aceite, tenga
cuidado que el liquido se haya enfriado completamente.

Caja: Papel, se debe llevar al centro
de reciclaje de papel. Las bolsas plásticas y cubiertas se
deben desechar en recolectores separados.

Para prevenir daños al medio ambiente o a la salud humana
por desechos no controlados, recicle el artículo
responsablemente para promover el uso sostenido de los

desechar ecológicamente.
